But after a meet and greet with Christina I knew that Logan was being left in the best hands possible. And now that we’re at home on the couch, I know for sure he was in the best hands possible. This dog rarely lacks energy, and he’s cuddled up with me snoring. He didn’t want to leave Christina’s when I picked him up which I’ve never seen him do before. I am currently stay at home with my four year old and own a cleaning company. I only clean a few hours a day Monday through Thursday so I’ll have plenty of time to play with a furry pal! I love to walk around our beautiful neighborhood several times a day to get plenty of steps in. We have a large yard in a safe neighborhood. The dog/dogs will be leashed and with me anytime we are outside. I have a large metal crate that the dog can stay in when it needs a rest!
About: I grew up on a large farm with show dogs! I have had dogs, cats and all farm animals my entire life and their happiness, care is always top of my priority! About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.

About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. “Recently Aleisha did dog walking, check ins for over a 6 week period. She did house sitting for us over a five day trip and found her to be extremely responsible and responsive to all of our two dogs needs. One of our dogs has extreme separation anxiety and is very timid and has difficulty trusting new people. Aleisha came for dog walks a few weeks before our trip and gained Sadie's' trust over that period. While we were away, Sadie accepted Aleisha wholeheartedly. Upon our return, the dogs were excited but very calm and at ease – a real departure from other vacation experiences. Aleisha also spent several nights at our home house sitting. I have a flexible schedule at my full-time job. So I would have to compare my schedule to make sure I have your pets care as a priority. “Christina was incredible. My boxer Logan is my best friend. We are very connected and I dreaded leaving him in someone else’s care for the weekend. But after a meet and greet with Christina I knew that Logan was being left in the best hands possible. And now that we’re at home on the couch, I know for sure he was in the best hands possible. This dog rarely lacks energy, and he’s cuddled up with me snoring. He didn’t want to leave Christina’s when I picked him up which I’ve never seen him do before. About: You can be sure that your sweet pup will get the time, love, care, and exercise that they need while they are in my care! I am currently stay at home with my four year old and own a cleaning company. I only clean a few hours a day Monday through Thursday so I’ll have plenty of time to play with a furry pal! I love to walk around our beautiful neighborhood several times a day to get plenty of steps in. We have a large yard in a safe neighborhood. The dog/dogs will be leashed and with me anytime we are outside. I have a large metal crate that the dog can stay in when it needs a rest!
About: I grew up on a large farm with show dogs! I have had dogs, cats and all farm animals my entire life and their happiness, care is always top of my priority! I work from home full time, so there will never be a period your fur baby will be left alone unless I need to run a quick errand. I have two dogs ( a shih tzu (7) and a mini schnauzer (6 months), we have two well behaved cats and 6 chickens that are enclosed in an outside area. About: I am a big time dog lover! I work from home and am able to be here with the pets all day and take them out at least every 2 hours or as needed. I have a big house with a decent sized yard (NOT fenced). I'd love a few more companions hanging out with me and my dog, Lola! There aren't a lot of pet sitting options in this area so here I am making it an option :) Please come check me out! I work from home so i am here all day with the pets and able to tend to them as needed. i get an hour break for lunch and thats usually when i take my dog out to play/walk. I am available for day time pet sitting during the week. If needed me on a weekend we can most likely work something out-case by case basis-but it wasn't something i wanted to promote on my profile.
About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.

About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. I am skilled at handling dogs and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperments. I have worked with aggressive and reactive dogs and have experience deescalating conflicts when they arise. I am more than happy to care for any kind of animals- not just dogs and cats. My own current pets are two dogs and four cats. I also have experience caring for small animals, various poultry and livestock, and horses. When I was 15 years old I started occasionally farm/house sitting for a family with dogs, horses, and a cat, and caring for all of the animals there during my stay. With them I have worked daytime hours as well as overnight stays for a few days at a time so they could take trips out of state. In my adult life I have branched out, first with Rover a few years ago, and then with expanding farther into launching my private pet care business at the beginning of 2024 while still maintaining my presence on Rover. My client base is steadily growing and I am excited to see where this venture takes me! I am reliable and committed to providing excellent service for my clients. If you want a pet caretaker you can count on who will treat your animals as well as their own, I'm your gal! I am operating my pet care business, Mainely Pets - Care & Products, full-time! This means I have lots of availability to care for your pets, but for house-sitting in particular it is best to reach out significantly in advance to ensure I can fit you in! Sunday bookings are restricted to things that *must* occur on that day in order for me to try to have some level of work life balance. I take utmost care to keep animals in my care safe and properly contained. I make sure to follow whatever rules and structures are in place for the animals to ensure their safety. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. I am vigilant in looking out for potential risks (e.g. other animals, cars, unsafe things they could eat, etc) and making sure to give them a wide berth. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. I am also fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA).

I have a flexible schedule. I'm open to having dogs in my house throughout the week and some weekends, if needed, and also just walks. I don't have a fenced yard. However, I will be with them out in my yard to assure a safe environment. I'll take them hiking or for walks around my area. They are welcome inside my house to sleep and rest.
