“My pup is old and I was really worried leaving him because I feel like he's a lot of work. But Jessica is so good! She knew I was worried and sent tons of pictures and updates. I think he has a lot of fun!”
“Alex was so great with my dog Cora! She's a newly adopted rescue, so I was nervous about how she would handle a new place/person but Alex helped her settle right in. She even made a few new doggy friends while she was there! Alex kept me updated on her & sent me pics, which definitely helped with my anxiety about her adjusting. I will definitely be booking Alex again next time I have to go out of town.”

“We, and the dogs, had a great experience with the doggies boarding with Bailey for a long weekend! The doggies loved it and we got photos, videos, and updates daily. She was very communicative and flexible. 100% plan to book again. Thank you!”

“Amber was an incredible dog sitter! She took such great care of our dog Daisy, and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We really appreciated the daily updates and photos, and it was clear Daisy was getting spoiled with plenty of walks, love, treats and attention. Amber truly went above and beyond we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! I highly recommend trusting Amber with your pup!”

“Erin was a SPECTACULAR dog sitter for my pup! She was quick to respond and update and was incredibly sweet and thoughtful throughout the whole experience. Would highly recommend!”

“WE WERE VERY PLEASED OVERALL WITH THE CARE DOLLY RECEIVED WHILE WITH ROSE. SHE KEPT US INFORMED WITH TEXTING AND SENDING PICTURES OFTEN WHICH WAS QUITE COMFORTING AS THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE LEFT DOLLY OVERNIGHT. I WAS A LITTLE CONCERNED ABOUT THE SIZE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DOLLY AND OLLIE BECAUSE DOLLY WILL OFTEN RUN WITH BIGGER DOGS BUT SHE SOMETIMES DOES NOT KNOW WHEN TO REST. I CERTAINLY WOULD USE ROSE AGAIN AND NO OFFENSE TO ROSE BUT I THINK WE MAY TRY ANOTHER SITTER WITH A SMALLER DOG THE NEXT TIME.”

“Jennifer did an incredible job with Jax and Toby! She frequently sent pictures and videos showing all the activities they were doing. She had no issue with providing oral medications to Jax. Will definitely request aqain!”

“Thank you Danielle!! Spice and Coco have indicated that they had a great time. We are so thankful to have found you! It made our trip so much easier to go worry free. The girls seemed very relaxed and every picture you sent over our trip, showed how happy they were. Your attitude during the entire stay they had, was over the top. When our return flight was canceled, and it added an extra day to our trip, you again made us feel at ease. Can't thank you enough, and would use you again on our return next summer. Pat, Sue, Spice and Coco.”

“Nieves took great care of our two collies. She worked with me to arrive at a convenient schedule for drop off and pick up, and sent me pictures, videos and updates throughout their Rover stay. Highly recommend.”

“Nancy was awesome! My dog Maisie was loved and cared for as if she was part of the family. I received frequent updates and pics too! Maisie had a wonderful time. I would recommend Nancy and will certainly contact her next time I need dog care.”

About: Since becoming fully remote for my full time job in 2020, I have taken on the roll of “trusted pet-sitter” for over 30 families and almost 50 furry friends. Back home in Maryland, I connected with these families just through word-of-mouth and referrals from happy families. Now that I live here in Maine, I would like to continue my expertise and passion for animals, and connect with some loveable furry friends. I am an attentive, detail-oriented pet-sitter, who also knows the importance of respecting another person’s living space and maintaining routines for pets. After years of taking care of every size, shape and age of dog, no request from the owner is too wacky. From complicated medication directions to particular night time routines, I know your pet is part of your family and deserves to go about life as usual, despite mom/dad not being home. Reach out, I would love to connect! I work full-time fully remote! So while I will need WiFi and a desk to type on my laptop while I watch your pet, there is always time for walks, snuggles and whatever else your pet needs. My goal when I pet sit is to keep the pet in its normal environment and routine as much as possible. I am always very clean and respectful of any house I pet sit in.
“Tabrizia was amazing. My dog had a health crisis and Tabrizia and her husband handled it with great care and grace. They were so kind to my dog (and me). I would recommend them to anyone.”
“Sammy loved her stay with Justin and Eva. Sammy fit right in with the family and activities. We received daily updates and couldn’t be more pleased. Sammy can’t wait to visit again.”

“Nancy is amazing! She took great care of our dogs and kept us updated with photos and texts. She genuinely cared for our pups and we highly recommend her for anyone wanting a wonderful dog sitter!”

About: I have had experience with pets since I was I child, my family and I love all kind of pets , I am from Costa Rica so I always had a pet in my house and around from friends and family. I am available most of the time, I am super open to work holidays, weekends and nights, just contact me before booking to check availability. I have my own farm house in Swanville Maine, a very quiet and very peaceful place without many neighbors around, perfect for pets and very near from Belfast.
About: As a lifelong dog owner, I know the importance of feeling confidence in your pet’s care while you are away – for the day or for weeks. I grew up with German Shepards, Labrador Retrievers, Weimaraners, and of course your traditional mutts. I’m comfortable with medium and large breeds with varying degrees of energy and structure needs. In adulthood I’ve dedicated myself to seniors and pups with special needs. My current pack is all neutered males - Riley (12), Vinnie (17), Gilroy (4, Cerebellar Aplasia), and Louie (4, Blind). Everyone in the pack is dog friendly and more importantly I know them well and how to navigate introducing new members. Pack management is a critical and advantageous skill I live in a single family detached home with a large fenced in yard. The dogs are allowed on the furniture. I have extra crates, cots, dog beds, and toys. With a traditional cape style, I can also keep pack members separate if needed, especially at mealtime to keep everyone safe. My home and I have been approved by three different reputable rescues in the last 3 years. I have established relationships with not only my local vet, Dirigo, but also specialists at Maine Veterinary Medical Center. I have experience with high needs behavioral and physical pups. Though I do not think taking in an aggressive dog into the pack for sitting is a good idea, I am comfortable and understand dogs with anxiety that might need some extra time or care. I have experience with dogs paralyzed in the back end, cerebellar hypoplasia (wobbly), cerebellar aplasia (no balance), hydrocephalus, blindness, senior needs, puppy needs and training. In the last year my pack has included three more pups (may two rest in peace, and one continue to live his best life with his forever mom) and so I open my home to boarding knowing that my current boys are already okay with new members. If you have any questions please reach out! I work from home five days a week. I work from home full-time and can navigate my schedule most days by the needs of the pack. Without a doubt they can go outside whenever they need. At most during the week I could leave the house from 1-3 hours. I will sometimes need to leave the house for 2-6 hours at a time especially on weekends, but can arrange any accommodation that makes your pup comfortable – free, crate, room etc. All dogs are allowed on the couch and my bed, though not all will sleep on the bed at night. I make sure to have a dog bed available for each pup in the house and have crate options too if individual space makes your pup feel more comfortable. The house is set up so that all living is on the first floor, so there are only two stairs into the home and two stairs off of the deck. During the warmer months I have a dog door for free access to the fenced in yard. However, in the winter months I maintain taking the dogs out at regular intervals. All dogs will be fed safely alone so no issues are allowed to develop. All stairs inside are blocked off either by baby gate or doors (for my blind boy). Pack management is key to safety and with lots of experience I know I can navigate it well.

About: I've taken care of cats ever since I was about 10. I had neighbors down the road that left me to take care of theirs for weeks at a time! I'm pretty familiar with giving cats meds, cleaning the litter box(all litter types) and being patient with the furry friends! I make sure they warm up to me before jumping into their bubble!
“Rachel provided wonderful care for our three dogs and 2 cats while we were away. She stopped by for drop-in visits and stayed for two overnights. Our pets appeared relaxed and happy under her care. We definitely recommend Rachel's services and would love to have her sit for us again!”

“Liseli stayed in our house several nights to cat sit our babies while we were traveling. She has provided an exceptional , smart and very qualified service beyond what we could have expected, always attentive to the cat moods and comfort, keeping us perfectly informed about the kitties and also sending many pictures. Our Maine Coon can be difficult, and she managed to win her over. We warmly recommend Liseli for pet sitting, and will definitely use her services again the next times we travel!”

“Melissa sat our four cats while we were out of town for the weekend and she did an excellent job. She was communicative and she was attentive to our pets. We’ve always had some minor issues with them at meal time; Melissa is the one who figured out a viable solution. We so appreciate her effort and care. We’ll definitely be calling on Melissa again and have no hesitation in recommending her for your pet sitting needs.”

“Nancy was amazing with Sunny! She has a beautiful fenced backyard, and he came home happy and tired. She was also very flexible when our white water rafting trip ran late. Highly recommend her to anyone needing dog care in the area. Thank you so much, Nancy! ❤️”

“Harper was happier than I’ve seen her (via videos sent by Erin). As a rescued dog from a kill shelter in TN, I really didn’t know what to expect from Harper. Erin’s calm demeanor was perfect for her. She got along well with the other dogs and I am thrilled that she had a great day. She was even unusually calm on the ride home. I’m so grateful to Erin for being just what Harper needed and what I needed to get a full workday in!”

“Thank you so very much, Nancy! You are amazing!!! Thank you for being so kind and welcoming, and taking loving care of Oakie. You made it such a positive experience for us, and for that I give endless gratitude. You have the biggest animal heart <3 and anyone reading this should know they can trust you to offer wonderful, attuned care for any of their family members. 🐾 The animals and we all are so lucky to know you. Can’t thank you enough for sharing your self, your time, your treats and your home with us these past two long days. Much love!!”

“I felt that Alex took care of our puppy like it was her own. He was tuckered out at the end of the day and got to meet other farm animals, which was great! It’s a great opportunity for us to socialize our puppy, in a safe environment. Definitely will continue bringing our pup to Alex!”

“Mazzy had a great time with Paige. It was kind of a last-minute request but she was available, which helped a lot! Place was cozy and loving humans were ready to watch Mazzy which is so appreciated. Would recommend Oaige again 🙂”

“Overall I am so impressed with the care given to my nervous 4 month old puppy. Provided was so many updates with pictures and videos, which definitely makes an anxious dog mom feel better! We can’t wait to book again for doggy daycare! No complaints and I couldn’t recommend their care more😊”

“Jen was a great dog-sitter! Our dog was excited to explore her home, which seemed very dog-friendly, and there was a great long road to take walks on. Jen sent us updates, pictures, and was overall an easy-going and conscientious person! She asked us how we wanted our dog to be treated, what rules we have at home, what he can and can't play with, etc. She seemed to be really confident around dogs, and our dog liked her immediately.”

“Danielle welcomed Kassi into her calm home environment and took great care of her. She was responsive when we messaged her, and understanding of our fur baby’s quirks. Kassi even felt comfortable enough to eat a treat (something she never does day 1 in a new place). Highly recommend!”

“Amber was amazing with Finn! She was attentive, loving, and kept me very informed of how his day was going. She picked up on a war issue he was having and made sure I knew there may be an issue. I will DEFINITELY be booking with her again.”

“My dog had a great time with Lincey and her family and I received updates throughout the day confirming that she was safe and having fun. I was visiting the area for a few days and Lincey’s willingness to accept a last-minute booking made it possible for me to go kayaking secure in the knowledge that my fur-baby was well cared for and having a grand adventure of her own. Thanks Lincey!”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a little kid and helped my parents at my uncle’s farm. I truly love all animals and enjoy their individual personalities. I have experience dog/house sitting dating back to 2000 in the Camden area. Since we moved three years ago, I’m looking to meet new clients and help you with your furry loved one in the Waterville area. I worked in animal hospitals in my early 20s so I have a great wealth of knowledge to draw from in many areas (but not exotic pets, as none of the veterinarians I worked with were specialtists.) Currently, I'm available for sitting, dog walking, and drop in visits. I am not working outside of my home right now, so I'm quite flexible for scheduling. Any pet I take care of is treated as if they’re a member of the family. I believe in spoiling pets with love, but keeping the boundaries of the owner so as not to undo any training. Reinforcing good behavior is always a priority.

I also love to send little text and video updates, so you can check in on them while you're away. I've even done FaceTimes with pets and their owners!

About: I’ve had dogs all of my life. I love them so much and it brings me immense joy to spend time with them and understand them. Each dog I’ve met has had a unique personality and understanding that side of them is always a fun challenge for me. I’ve dealt with small dogs to large dogs and I am comfortable with all of them. I work from home so I am available any day of the week for boarding or drop in visits for your pets. Seeing animals is the highlight of my week so please let me know. I don’t currently have pets of my own, but I provide a safe, clean, and pet-friendly space. I can easily accommodate both dogs and cats and make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for.
About: Taking care of beloved pets is taking care of pet owners. Relaxing time away can only happen if you can trust that your pets are loved and taken care of almost as good as you😊 I have had a variety of pets my entire life. Friends, neighbors and family have trusted me to take excellent care of their pets. I have gone to their home, they have come to my home and I have visited just to walk them. I love all animals and have learned over the years how to recognize their individual needs. We have a quiet space with lots of grass and woods for playing. My groomer told me there is a need for pet care and I want more pets in my life, so this is perfect for me. I work closely with pet parents to make sure your pet has everything they need to feel right at home. We are outside a lot! About: I have two labs, one is six years old and the second is six months old. People have trusted me to take care of their dogs for years and I love being around animals. I currently work full-time from home and I’m outside with my dogs every day playing! pet care is a necessity for me as my world revolves around my girls. I have two labs that are very friendly and playful, I also have the ability to crate dogs as well. I used to work in clients homes so I have a vast understanding of the necessity to keep your home safe and well cared for. I also understand the vulnerability that your pet may feel if you are gone at work or for a period of time.
