Having volunteered with Legacy Humane Society based in McKinney, Texas as a foster, mentor, board member, event planner, social media lead and more, I've gained knowledge and learned so much! I am familiar with medications, oral and injectable and comfortable administering if needed. I have fostered pregnant dogs, birthed litters and raised them, fostered 150 lb great danes and a 15 lb chihuahua. Our most recent two pets were a black lab that passed away of old age and currently own a 40 lb mutt. I love dogs and miss fostering since we travel on the road. I have also helped care for my Mom's 90 lb Cane Corso who had to have insulin injections twice per day.

Since I was born I have loved animals so genuinely and patiently that I've never encountered a problem, even with the hard to figure out ones. I love them all and my husband does as well. About: I have owned many dogs over the years plus have over 7 years in the dog rescue business. Having volunteered with Legacy Humane Society based in McKinney, Texas as a foster, mentor, board member, event planner, social media lead and more, I've gained knowledge and learned so much! I am familiar with medications, oral and injectable and comfortable administering if needed. I have fostered pregnant dogs, birthed litters and raised them, fostered 150 lb great danes and a 15 lb chihuahua. Our most recent two pets were a black lab that passed away of old age and currently own a 40 lb mutt. I love dogs and miss fostering since we travel on the road. I have also helped care for my Mom's 90 lb Cane Corso who had to have insulin injections twice per day.

I can do that! 💕 I currently have one 30lb lab mix, Ruby, who is a year old- she is very sweet- loves other dogs and people! 🐾 We go on at least one long walk in the woods on our property every day- sometimes adventuring to the river for a dip, or out on the local, less-popular hiking trails. We know all the secret spots ; ) 💕 I love having a little dog pack around, and love watching them play and run together. I believe in providing plenty of outdoor time for playing, sniffing, exploring, listening to nature, or sitting in the sun- whatever your dog needs to be happy! I will meet them where they are at to ensure they are comfortable in a new environment. Leashes will be used until we are sure it’s fine to take them off. 🐾 Trained in basic doggie 101-we usually have basic manners and recall in practice for healthy treats and affection-especially for puppies- and can provide a crate, comfy couch or bed if your pup needs a space to retreat. 💕 My only requirement for care in my home is that your dog must get along with other dogs and cats. I only take 3 at a time the most, in-addition to my own pup. We live on a very private property with an open yard offering plenty of space to run and play. We have a comfy animal-friendly couch and a screened-in porch with a queen-size bed for your pups to nap outside without being “loose”. I have one pup who will be happy to keep your pup company! They will be able to go in and out freely in a natural home setting, (as long as they are okay off leash) and your dog will be cared for like our own. If I visit your home, I would typically have my dog with me to play with yours- unless you specify otherwise. Each visit would be an hour of play and affection, outdoor time, feeding, water, etc.

Sula had a great time, got to play and run with lots of other dogs. Celeste was great with her and sent lots of pictures and updates. We know we had a happy and tired dog when we picked her up.
