From the moment we started taking to the meet and greet to leaving Remy with her for a few days was fantastic. Her communication was excellent and fast right from the beginning. I currently have three dog-savvy indoor only cats, 2 “house dogs”, and I treat every pet I sit for like my own. My husband and I both currently work from home Monday through Friday and can provide constant supervision and attention to our furry guests. If your pet prefers a quiet environment as opposed to the hustle and bustle of family life, we do have the ability to provide quieter settings. As mentioned above, if your pet requires a crate to feel safe and secure, we have the experience to accommodate that as necessary. We do not have extra crates at this time, so for overnight bookings we do ask that their crate is provided to us, but we do have the space in our home to accommodate that. All outdoor trips are on-leash as we do not have a fenced yard at this time, however we can provide long walks to adequately tire your pup out. I love taking photos of my own pets, so if that offers peace of mind to our guests, I am more than happy to oblige. A meet and greet before a booking is preferred to ensure our dogs can get along. My dogs are both neutered/spayed and have not had any experiences with aggression towards other dogs. They do get excited, but quickly calm down once the initial introduction is over. Our dogs are not left unattended/uncrated with guests unless absolutely necessary. If we needed to leave the house quickly for whatever reason, you would be notified and your dog would come with us to remain under our supervision at all times. In-home visits and/or care- I am careful and aware of not letting pets outdoors unless explicitly told to do so. I have indoor only cats so I understand how important it is to check the cracks for sneaky paws and noses before opening doors. I do not wander around the home; it is strictly in and out, fill water and food as necessary, clean litter boxes, and spend a little time sitting on the kitchen floor to offer attention and pets (when the animal permits it). Your space is private, and I am honored to have your trust in caring for both your pets and your home.

About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. Living on 15 wooded acres set back from the road means there is plenty of space for pups to run around as well as numerous off leash walking trails should your pup be up for it. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. Dogs that can’t be trusted off leash will enjoy wooded walks around the property or nearby dog-friendly trails.

About: I've grown up taking care of many dogs for family and in my place I've learn to trim around the paws and eyes of fluffy animals and trimming animal nails and bathing. Currently working part time and have time to take care of ur animals and love up on them. I'm also a momma so I have someone watching my little ones while I'm working. From walks, hikes and playing to training and games, I love spending my free time with my four legged friends. Weekends i am free when not taking care or spending quality time with my own pup. I do have 4 cats of my own :) I work 3 days a week, not a set schedule, but usually have open availability the other 4 days during the weekdays/weekends. About: I have taken care of various different fur babies my whole life. From my grandma’s elderly diabetic cat, to many little baby kittens. Making animals feel safe and cared for makes me feel so fulfilled. I also have been bathing and doing regular grooming since I was old enough to understand how to. About: Dogs and cats love my hands-on, dependable care. Whether it’s timely feeding, active walking, tossing a frisbee or tennis ball or a soothing snuggle, your beloved dog will love to see me. You can rest easy knowing your companion is in good hands. I am available for overnight sits with advance notice as well as drop-in visits. Weekdays I can drop in as well as evening visits. I am also available for walks. Please note if you are farther than 15 miles from Bridgton, I will require reimbursement for fuel expenses. I am able to care for small dogs in my home but prefer to care for pets in your home due to restrictions in my HOA.

“Recently Aleisha did dog walking, check ins for over a 6 week period. She did house sitting for us over a five day trip and found her to be extremely responsible and responsive to all of our two dogs needs. One of our dogs has extreme separation anxiety and is very timid and has difficulty trusting new people. Aleisha came for dog walks a few weeks before our trip and gained Sadie's' trust over that period. While we were away, Sadie accepted Aleisha wholeheartedly. Upon our return, the dogs were excited but very calm and at ease – a real departure from other vacation experiences. Aleisha also spent several nights at our home house sitting. Again we found her to be a true pro and very reliable and respectful. We would have no problem using her again and would recommend her services to anyone who would ask. As a matter of fact, we will be using Aleisha for occasional walks to keep in touch with Sadie and keep their bonds intact. Just such a pleasure to have someone as reliable and trustworthy for both us and our pets.”
About: I have one year of pet-sitting experience, mostly for family and friends, along with volunteer work at animal shelters. I always can tell when Archie likes a sitter, he tells me by either seeing me and running out the door and to the car or he will linger and be relaxed. With Cindy he is no rush and very relaxed. About: Hi, I'm Kaitlin! I've been caring for pets for 20+ years to my own pets, as well as caring for and spoiling others. I currently have three dog-savvy indoor only cats, 2 “house dogs”, and I treat every pet I sit for like my own. I have children in my home (ages range from 16 – 4) who have all grown up with both cats and dogs and are well versed in respecting their personal space. I offer boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, with flexible scheduling to fit last-minute requests and regular routines alike. Whether your pet needs a quiet, cage-free home base, a midday potty break, or overnight company so they're never alone, I'm happy to tailor my care to what works best for them. A few things that set my care apart: - If your pet uses a crate at home, or if they tend to get anxious or chew things when unattended, I do ask that a crate is provided for overnight bookings. I do not have a spare crate on hand. One of my family dogs is crated at night, one is not. - While I do not currently have a fenced-in yard, I do live on a private dead-end road in a quiet neighborhood. We do not have heavy traffic and can walk for as long as necessary to tucker your pup out. - Daily photos of your pet for check-in purposes, or if they’re just being cute. - Experience with puppies and young dogs. - Competitive, transparent rates — no surprise fees. - Bonus: I also have experience with chickens and freshwater aquariums and can accommodate check-in visits to refresh water and feed if I am provided with a feeding schedule. I have a flock of my own and have sat for friends over the last 8+ years. I can provide references if necessary. My pets are up to date on their vaccinations and flea preventatives. I have homeowners insurance, additional insurance, am well versed in loving on pets, and committed to being reliable and responsive — you'll always know your pet is safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'd love to meet you and your pet for a free Meet & Greet before your first booking! My husband and I both currently work from home Monday through Friday and can provide constant supervision and attention to our furry guests. If your pet prefers a quiet environment as opposed to the hustle and bustle of family life, we do have the ability to provide quieter settings. As mentioned above, if your pet requires a crate to feel safe and secure, we have the experience to accommodate that as necessary. We do not have extra crates at this time, so for overnight bookings we do ask that their crate is provided to us, but we do have the space in our home to accommodate that. All outdoor trips are on-leash as we do not have a fenced yard at this time, however we can provide long walks to adequately tire your pup out. I love taking photos of my own pets, so if that offers peace of mind to our guests, I am more than happy to oblige. A meet and greet before a booking is preferred to ensure our dogs can get along. My dogs are both neutered/spayed and have not had any experiences with aggression towards other dogs. They do get excited, but quickly calm down once the initial introduction is over. Our dogs are not left unattended/uncrated with guests unless absolutely necessary. If we needed to leave the house quickly for whatever reason, you would be notified and your dog would come with us to remain under our supervision at all times. In-home visits and/or care- I am careful and aware of not letting pets outdoors unless explicitly told to do so. I have indoor only cats so I understand how important it is to check the cracks for sneaky paws and noses before opening doors. I do not wander around the home; it is strictly in and out, fill water and food as necessary, clean litter boxes, and spend a little time sitting on the kitchen floor to offer attention and pets (when the animal permits it). Your space is private, and I am honored to have your trust in caring for both your pets and your home.
