“We contacted Karen about watching our dogs we while we went whale watching. She was very easy to work with and very accommodating. She had our dog from 1 pm until 8 pm. We met at a halfway point for drop off and she returned the dog to us at the port in downtown Bar Harbor. She could not have been more accommodating aa our boat was a little bit late getting back into port. She is very nice and seems to genuinely care about the animals she watches. She sent me pictures throughout the day and text message updates. I would definitely recommend Karen and I would use her again. You do not need to have any worries about leaving your pet in her care. About: I have had numerous cats throughout my life. Currently, I have one Maine Coon named Melvin that is over 15 years old. About: I am a cat mom of 1, but soon to be 2! I have always had a cat in my household since the day I was born! That’s 21 years of living with cats! At the age of 10, as one of my chores, it was my responsibility to feed our cats and give them water and I loved it! I left the litter box up to my dad! I do now have that responsibility as an adult though! I have always loved being around cats and there were times where there were no cats in our house and it felt very strange! I’ve had a total of 10 cats in my 21 years of life that I absolutely adore and soon to be 11 when we receive our newest addition! Overall, I am very experienced with cats and absolutely love them! I love their cuddles most of all!

I was a credentialed veterinary nurse for ten years, and retain my Maine state licensure. I am Fear Free Certified, RECOVER (advanced CPR) Certified, and experienced in general practice as well as emergency medicine, neurology, mobile care, and behavior specialty. I am no longer able to practice in clinic due to my own health, but I am happy to provide experienced care to any medically needy pet. I look forward to meeting you and your fur family!

About: Animals have always been a passion of mine. I grew up with several different animals and have always loved being around them and taking care of them! At a very young age I really wanted to work with animals and that same passion of working with them is still the same today! As of right now, my schedule varies! I could be working any shift from 6:30-2:30, 7:30-4:30, 9:15-5:15, or 12:15-5:15. I am a new mom who is trying to make ends meet but working still isn’t helping because daycare is so expensive! I am really trying to pet sit part time or even full time! My weekends and holidays are always open except for the occasional family trips in the summer! I do not have a fenced in yard at my home so that means that your fur babies will be kept on a leash when taking them outside. Your fur babies will also be kept company by 2 friendly dogs and 2 friendly cats! I also have to crate one of my dogs so I can easily crate dogs if needed!
