About: I got my first best friend when I was 8, and I've been obsessed with the furry dictators since day 1. I love them so much, most of my photos with cats look like I'm happily being smothered. I had the best companion cat for 19 years, and she recently had to cross the Rainbow Bridge. My home and my heart are open to provide the best care for your cat while you're gone. Scratching posts and window seats if we're at my place. All the playing, lap cuddles, and scritches when we're at yours. About: As an avid cat lover, I've had my own cats for well over 10 years. I started working at an animal shelter in 2021 and worked primarily with cats. I have experience giving pills and administering daily shots, like insulin. I work remotely, so my time is freauently on my own schedule and at my own pace. Having an animal to care for is an added bonus that is easy to work around, and forces me to remember my exercise! Dogs staying at my house get 2 longer walks and a shorter walk per day, depending on age, energy, and ability of the dog. I also try to incorporate a special enrichment activity every day. Example: dog park, trail, swimming, long play/training session, suited to the dog's interests and abilities. The dog's space in my house is also where I work, so I spend a lot of time hanging out with your dog. At your house, I'll ask for their favorite toy or play routine, to keep their space consistent until you come back. I love to put on an audiobook and take dogs on a "sniff walk" where they can just sniff to their heart's content, such great enrichment for their strong noses.

About: I've been taking care of cats as long as I can remember. I don't currently have a dog but I frequently take care of my aunt's Great Pyrenees and I've taken care of many other dogs. I have a very flexible schedule and I'm free any day of the week for sitting. I would be happy to take care of any kind of dog or cat. I usually consult the owner and try to stick to the pets regular schedule as close as possible. I usually visit dogs three or four times a day and do one or two walks and for cats I visit once or twice a day or as many times as the owner would like.

“Where do I start! Melissa and Family are truly the BEST Rover experience we have had! EVER! The care Bella received was priceless! The house and grounds are a dog’s paradise!!! And the humans made sure Bella had daily walks in the woods, swim in the pond, chasing squirrels and chipmunks …so much so, Bella ate and slept well. This is a FIRST FOLKS! I was thinking Bella wouldn’t want to come back home she was having such an amazing time. I know Bella will miss her new human friends and Dhooney that is Bella’s newest best fur friend! To sum up… this stay was PAWSOME!”

About: I've been providing neighborhood pet care since I was 11. Short walkies with tiny terriers, long trails with Labrador retrievers, dog parks, training exercises, puzzle feeders, I've done it and enjoyed it all. I like to make friends with our canine companions, and help them feel safe and secure in the absence of their favorite human(s). I have experience giving pills and administering daily shots, like insulin. I work remotely, so my time is freauently on my own schedule and at my own pace. Having an animal to care for is an added bonus that is easy to work around, and forces me to remember my exercise! Dogs staying at my house get 2 longer walks and a shorter walk per day, depending on age, energy, and ability of the dog. I also try to incorporate a special enrichment activity every day. Example: dog park, trail, swimming, long play/training session, suited to the dog's interests and abilities. The dog's space in my house is also where I work, so I spend a lot of time hanging out with your dog. At your house, I'll ask for their favorite toy or play routine, to keep their space consistent until you come back. I love to put on an audiobook and take dogs on a "sniff walk" where they can just sniff to their heart's content, such great enrichment for their strong noses.
About: I provide calm, reliable care in a quite setting. I have plenty of fenced in outdoor space for dogs to explore and get exercise. I will make sure they feel at home and well cared for. Relaxing or active your pet will enjoy their stay. I currently work as a B&B host in the summers, leaving my winters, fully open schedule wise. Hosting for over four years so I know how to make sure you get a five star experience. We have a fenced yard hard floors, dog kennels, and everything a dog would need. I have a golden retriever named Sadie, who is very sociable goes to the dog park super friendly. I work for myself managing properties and are able to bring any pets with me to job sites if needed.
“Kate was a gem and truly saved us when we were in a pinch. My dog had a severe allergy flare up when we were on vacation and was in need of a rest day with some TLC. Kate and family went above and beyond to give him all of the blankets, cuddles, and relaxation he needed while we continued hiking in high humidity and wet conditions. I’m super careful about who cares for Tux and am glad I put my trust in Kate! We made it home without worsening Tux’s allergies, and he’s doing much better now.”
