About: Since becoming fully remote for my full time job in 2020, I have taken on the roll of “trusted pet-sitter” for over 30 families and almost 50 furry friends. Back home in Maryland, I connected with these families just through word-of-mouth and referrals from happy families. I realized one of the biggest concerns for travelers was their dogs and the thought of having to use kennel services. About: Used to be a manager for a mobile veterinary wellness clinic, have owned animals almost my whole life and currently have a giant bundle of fur chocolate lab at home. Intact 3 year old male. As well as a 4 year old boy and 4 month old boy and 2 tween girls who all love animals. DISCLAIMER- your pets MUST be well behaved enough around small children that are still learning how to safely approach animals in order for me to agree to sit them. Everyone’s safety is my number 1 priority as I have a 9 month old baby as well as other small children in the home. As I’m a stay at home mom, I have plenty of time throughout my day to implement your pets needs into our schedule. I don’t mind last minute bookings, as long as we’re free and non booked up. While we don’t have a fenced in yard, we have no issue taking dogs for walks around the neighborhood and leashes in the yard when necessary.

“Recently Aleisha did dog walking, check ins for over a 6 week period. She did house sitting for us over a five day trip and found her to be extremely responsible and responsive to all of our two dogs needs. One of our dogs has extreme separation anxiety and is very timid and has difficulty trusting new people. Aleisha came for dog walks a few weeks before our trip and gained Sadie's' trust over that period. While we were away, Sadie accepted Aleisha wholeheartedly. Upon our return, the dogs were excited but very calm and at ease – a real departure from other vacation experiences. Aleisha also spent several nights at our home house sitting. Again we found her to be a true pro and very reliable and respectful. We would have no problem using her again and would recommend her services to anyone who would ask.
