About: I absolutely adore animals. I recently got my masters degree in natural resources and am now working for the state in Augusta. I grew up looking after my neighbors' dogs and cats and over the years I have looked after the pets of many of my friends. About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. About: I am a big time dog lover! I work from home and am able to be here with the pets all day and take them out at least every 2 hours or as needed. I have a big house with a decent sized yard (NOT fenced). I'd love a few more companions hanging out with me and my dog, Lola! There aren't a lot of pet sitting options in this area so here I am making it an option :) Please come check me out! I work from home so i am here all day with the pets and able to tend to them as needed. i get an hour break for lunch and thats usually when i take my dog out to play/walk. I'm experienced with cats and dogs of all ages, including seniors and pets who need oral medications. I know leaving your pets can be stressful, so I'll send regular photos and updates and follow their usual routine as closely as possible. A few things to know when booking with me: • House sitting: My standard house-sitting stay includes overnight care, generally from about 9 PM–9 AM, plus two daytime visits. This means your pets get plenty of company, but I am not in the home continuously throughout the day. If your pet needs more frequent or constant care, please let me know before booking so we can see if I'm a good fit. • Drop-ins: Standard visits are approximately 30 minutes and include feeding, fresh water, potty/litter care, medication if needed, and some attention or playtime. • Meet & greets: I prefer to meet new dogs before the first booking and am always happy to meet cats, too! We'll go over routines, feeding, medications, quirks and anything else I should know. • While you're away: Please let me know about any cameras in the home and whether anyone else will be entering the house during my stay. I don't bring guests into clients' homes. • Most importantly: Tell me what makes your pet your pet! The weird little routines, favorite toys, preferred sleeping spots, mortal enemies, and exact location where they expect their butt scratches are all useful information. I am lucky enough to work remotely and have lots of opportunity to get away during the day and care for your pets during the workday or in the evenings. I provide care in your pet’s own home, where they can stay comfortable with their normal routines and familiar surroundings. I’m respectful of both your pets and your home, and I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, litter boxes, potty breaks, and household routines. For house sitting, my standard schedule is generally overnight from about 9 PM–9 AM, with two additional visits during the day. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s particular routine at our meet & greet. I’ll also send regular photos and updates so you know how things are going while you’re away. If you feel youre dogs would be happier being the only visitors, let me know and we can almost always figure something out. I have a large area for dogs to run and play by themselves if they prefer or can spend time with our two friendly dogs who love to play even more.I offer crates if needed. But typically allow them run of the house and let them sleep where they are comfortable. Pets are more than welcome make themselves comfortable on the furniture or bed. About: I am a big time dog lover! I work from home and am able to be here with the pets all day and take them out at least every 2 hours or as needed. About: In the past when I’ve done some house sitting I ended up bonding with the animals which they had to call me Uncle Bobby which required visits even when the owners were home! I work 3 on 3 off and occasionally some overtime! So I actually do have a lot of time of but different days! So weekends and weekdays I actually can have time off! Outside time on a leash or what ever the owner prefers! I would prefer the animals get to know me on leashes! If it’s a fenced in area no problem! Run free my fury friends Lol! About: I always tune into the unique personality of each animal and I don't rest until I'm sure the animal knows its safe, loved and cared for. Since I was born I have loved animals so genuinely and patiently that I've never encountered a problem, even with the hard to figure out ones. I love them all and my husband does as well. Therefore we treat our pets like they're one of us, with plentiful attention. We are complete home-bodies. We like spending time outdoors, and going for walks. Our home is very inviting as well, with a fenced yard, multiple spare rooms, close to many trails near by and lots of spare blankets and pillows. About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. I am skilled at handling dogs and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperments. I have worked with aggressive and reactive dogs and have experience deescalating conflicts when they arise. Sunday bookings are restricted to things that *must* occur on that day in order for me to try to have some level of work life balance. I take utmost care to keep animals in my care safe and properly contained. I make sure to follow whatever rules and structures are in place for the animals to ensure their safety. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. I am vigilant in looking out for potential risks (e.g. other animals, cars, unsafe things they could eat, etc) and making sure to give them a wide berth. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. I am also fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA).
