About: I absolutely adore animals. I recently got my masters degree in natural resources and am now working for the state in Augusta. I grew up looking after my neighbors' dogs and cats and over the years I have looked after the pets of many of my friends. This always brought me joy and so I would love the opportunity to take care of your furry family members :) I would happily take your dog on walks and hikes, play fetch, and give them lots of love and attention. About: I have a passion for dogs. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and health needs including medication, special diets, and have experience caring for injuries and elderly dogs. My partner and I both work full time with rotating schedules. Most days someone is home. On the few days where we are both working, the dogs are free to go in and out of the dog room to the fenced in area outside. I have a 2 year old lab/golden retriever who loves all other dogs, loves to play, and really enjoys having other dogs around. We have a dog room downstairs with an open door to a covered patio and fenced in grass area for the dogs to play, cool off, and use the bathroom at their own needs.

About: I’ve owned and cared for pets since I was a child. I cannot imagine not having pets, as I’ve never been without one. I currently have 4 dogs and 2 cats. Over the years I have adopted many rescue animals from unfortunate circumstances. I have helped many that I’ve adopted through anxiety, behavior and trust issues. I have a very soft, gentle demeanor, and find being around pets so therapeutic. I’m currently trying to transition from my current position to something I could enjoy as much as caring for animals. If I can find myself busy enough, I would have the flexibility to become available as often as needed. I have a 4 acre property and pets of my own. My property is not fenced currently, however I have a great rural road/area to walk and explore safely while leashed. I can of course kennel if needed, I have a large indoor space as well.

About: I have always had dogs and love walking and playing with them. I always share a special bond with dogs, they are so friendly and comforting. My mom used to have her own doggy day care business and train dogs. I would love to meet new friendly faces and get to know your dogs. I believe that once I get to know your little pup, we will have a lovely time together. I have mostly had collies and shelties and currently I also have a pitbull/boxer mix. If your dog need meds, I have given plenty to other dogs in the past. I am very good at keeping dogs occupied and busy while having a good time too. I believe that if you give me a chance, your dog and I will have great times together going for walks and playing. I’m a teacher so this summer of ‘22 I am looking to have this as my full time job! I think that would be so much fun and the perfect fit for me and my schedule as I am very flexible! I love having toys around that my dogs love to use. I usually put my dogs closed in separate rooms during the day when we are gone. I would make sure all the dogs/pets would be as open or as separated as you’d like. Every dog is unique in their needs.

At my home: I have a 4 ft fenced-in yard for play time, which turns into an at-home dog park when Marcy has a visitor. Note that the fence isn't foolproof for an escape artist or high jumper. Dogs are allowed throughout the house and on couches, if they choose. Sleeping arrangements are flexible, especially knowing visiting pups can sometimes feel more comfortable sleeping in bed with a human. I currently have two labradors (one is an *angel* and can calm even the most Nervous Nellies, and the other just wants you to throw the dang ball!). I have a large fenced-in area, wooded trails for curious noses and a food dehydrator for the occasional, chewy treat (with permission). For sure you can expect that your pup will be treated as one of our own with play, snuggles and comfy places to rest. I have help from a trustworthy teen and, at present, incredible flexibility in my schedule. I am really excited to host your furry family members! I am currently at home full-time. Multiple fetch sessions and walks in the woods throughout the day are the norm. During longer stays, I am am happy to take your dog on a hike in one of the nearby preserves. I ask that you send your dogs meals pre-packed, or in a reasonable (for their stay) container. Please leave “favorites “ that cannot be replaced at home. This includes beds! I provide fresh, daily, clean toys and blankets, plus raised cot beds. Feed time is 2X per day, with 2X per day “stimulation” snacks prior to nap time. I provide all snacks, but need to know if your pup has a special diet. If your dog has separation anxiety, I really need to know. It doesn’t mean I won’t take your dog, but it DOES mean I have to structure things differently for that particular stay, and rates will be discussed. My own dog has SA, so I understand; I just need the information to plan accordingly.

About: I've been caring for animals since I was young, pet-sitting for our neighbors. I have experience with all sorts of breeds of dogs of all ages and cats. I have experience with feeding, walking, training, and bathing dogs. I am currently working full-time throughout the weekdays. I would be available for daytime care on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I am available throughout the week days after 5 pm. I can take your dogs out for walks around town, the dog park, or your neighborhood. If transporting in the car I have multiple ways to make sure they are safe including harnessing them, crating them, etc. I am also able to bathe the dog if desired.

About: I've taken care of animals since I was 10. I care for all animals even the fur babies that have anxiety away from home. They will be loved and you will have tons of photos I can pet sit during the early mornings or late at nights. Staying at the animals comfort home so they won't have too much anxiety while you're away. I can care for any animals at the comfort of your animals home. Animals prefer their home more than someone else's. Lesser anxiety for them.

About: I grew up with a yellow lab named Mo. I was an only child and he was quite truly my best friend. He passed away when I was sixteen. This past summer, my family and I got a new puppy from Midcoast Humane, his name is Sol. I don't know how I went eight years without such a buddy! About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. I have a German Shepherd that I keep separated from the work I do with other animals. I am located at a small farmhouse in Augusta that has a huge yard with two a-joining fields. About: I have a passion for dogs. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and health needs including medication, special diets, and have experience caring for injuries and elderly dogs. My partner and I both work full time with rotating schedules. Most days someone is home. On the few days where we are both working, the dogs are free to go in and out of the dog room to the fenced in area outside. I have a 2 year old lab/golden retriever who loves all other dogs, loves to play, and really enjoys having other dogs around. We have a dog room downstairs with an open door to a covered patio and fenced in grass area for the dogs to play, cool off, and use the bathroom at their own needs.

About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.
