“Lindsay was fantastic throughout the entire booking, boarding, and picking up process! She was very quick to respond to messages and very easy to make arrangements with. Our puppy lived his stay with Lindsay and we will definitely call her again when he needs a place to stay. Thank you, Lindsay, for a wonderful experience! ?”

“This was our second booking with Christina. We have full confidence in her ability to take great care of our 3 pups. They have lots of fun playing with her personal dogs and daycare guests in her large, fenced backyard. We especially appreciated her flexibility in accommodating a change in our travel plans and allowing for an earlier pick-up. 10/10!”
“We have a 4 year old weimaraner and 1 year old German shepard. We were nervous leaving our weimaraner, he's been at our side since a puppy, we knew our shepard would be fine. Ashen warmed up and did great, and Nova just loves everyone. Alex did great with sending pictures, and updates on our dogs, which I appreciate. We will definitely use her service again. We knew our pups were in great hands, we could worry less, and focus more on my extensive surgery I was having, and our 2 year old twins.”

“This was our first time boarding Murphy and using Rover. Breanna made us feel very comfortable when we dropped him off and provided updates that truly eased our anxiety. We would definitely reserve with Breanna in the future!”

“Alyx was great. She was very flexible and accommodating (we needed to ch age drop off time after making the booking and she was great about it). She took Bret care of our pupper. Will definitely book with her again.”

“Sarah was very responsive as we set up our meet and greet so she could get to know Mia. She has a great home and yard for hosting pups, and her little dog, Sweetie, was very excited to meet our Mia. We especially appreciated that Sarah was accommodating of our older dog's needs, especially with climbing stairs. Mia seemed happy and settled in well with Sarah's family. We would happily leave Mia in Sarah's care again.”

“Marissa was amazing with Fenway! She kept me updated all weekend with thoughtful messages and great pictures, which gave me total peace of mind. Fenway was clearly happy, comfortable, and having the best time in her care. He came home relaxed and it was obvious he was well taken care of. I really appreciated how responsive and attentive she was. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, birds, and small animals for three years now. I also have experience with housesitting and babysitting. I work two 12 hour day shifts a week. I am currently working part time two 12 hour days. Dogs go out before I go to work and after. On my days off I am able to spend more time with them. I cannot offer pet sitting in my home at this time. I have three years of house/dog sitting experience as well as cats. I am able to stay at the clients place as needed for pet care.
“Micheala was fantastic with my dogs. They got to be part of her family for a week long vacation. They had plenty of room to roam about and fun playing with her family. Will definitely book again! ~ Michaela was also very accommodating with my flaky schedule!!! Thanks again!!”

About: Since becoming fully remote for my full time job in 2020, I have taken on the roll of “trusted pet-sitter” for over 30 families and almost 50 furry friends. Back home in Maryland, I connected with these families just through word-of-mouth and referrals from happy families. Now that I live here in Maine, I would like to continue my expertise and passion for animals, and connect with some loveable furry friends. I am an attentive, detail-oriented pet-sitter, who also knows the importance of respecting another person’s living space and maintaining routines for pets. After years of taking care of every size, shape and age of dog, no request from the owner is too wacky. From complicated medication directions to particular night time routines, I know your pet is part of your family and deserves to go about life as usual, despite mom/dad not being home. Reach out, I would love to connect! I work full-time fully remote! So while I will need WiFi and a desk to type on my laptop while I watch your pet, there is always time for walks, snuggles and whatever else your pet needs. My goal when I pet sit is to keep the pet in its normal environment and routine as much as possible. I am always very clean and respectful of any house I pet sit in.
“Molly is very organized and does not take multiple dogs in at any time which makes us feel like our dog is really important to her and she is concerned about more than just making money....and that's important when you leave your dog with a stranger...we got regular updates and pictures...good job Molly!”

About: I’ve always grown up with a dog in my home. I have experience handling a variety breeds of all sizes, from a small 20lb Cairn Terrier to a 185lb Boerboel! I also have experience administering medication which included oral consumption as well as shots. I have been very reliable to my close family members and friends to take care of their dogs and cats when they are working or away on vacation! Aside from Rover’s guarantee , I am also separately insured to give you an extra ease of mind when choosing me for your sitting needs! Pricing: Please understand pricing is non-negotiable. Prices shown on Rover are accurate and up to date (as of March 2026). Initial pricing shown during search is a base rate - additional rates may apply depending on times/ animals that are needing care. An accurate quote will be provided after submitting a request. I do not offer discounts at this time, thank you for understanding! *Schedule update as of June 2026* House Sitting Requests: Please keep in mind that I am catering to repeat clients I have throughout the week day, as well as a part-time in person job! Depending on my schedule, I may not be at your home 24/7, however, I guarantee your pets won’t be alone longer than 6 hours at a time, unless stated otherwise. Please clearly state your pets needs, including the time and duration they can be alone - in the event other arrangements need to be made for mid day potty breaks. My coming and going schedule can likely be provided upon request. For clients who allow my partner to join me on my sittings (who is insured under my private sittings insurance), there is the ability to offer more frequent potty breaks as him and I typically work opposite schedules. No other guests/ friends/ family will ever join me during a dog sitting. Constant Care: Constant care is applied to any sitting that doesn’t allow me to leave for more than 4 hours of the day, per day. Constant care rates start at $200/ night (additional rates still apply) and increase based off of pet’s needs. Please understand this service may not always be available and interferes with ongoing mid day clients, as well as my availability for my other job. Price reflects alternative arrangements I need to make for existing clients. If you have any questions regarding this, please reach out! I currently only allow one family for boarding at a time. Prices reflect solo care and not having to worry about exposure to other dogs during their stay. I currently have one cat in the home - a 12 year old Maine Coon mix who is very relaxed and tends to mind her own business. Between my boyfriend and I, there is always someone on property, so potty breaks can be provided frequently!
About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.
About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.
“Wendy provided a loving home for our pup, Freddy, during extended travel for our family. Wendy's dog Elka was an instant friend to Freddy and knowing that he was safe, busy and receiving wonderful care took away a lot of anxiety. We look forward to Freddy staying with Wendy again in the future.”

“Christi was super friendly and helpful. I have seven cats, which can be tricky to manage when feeding, but she took great care of them. Christi was awesome and will definitely reach out again if we need a pet sitter.”

“Nicole did an excellent job caring for our two cats while we were on a work trip. She was communicative, kind, and sent plenty of pictures. We absolutely recommend her if you're looking for someone to take good care of your pet(s)! Thank you, Nicole!”

“Tanya was so very accommodating! I needed a last minute drop in for my dog Josie and she responded back to my request quickly and we were able to do a meet and greet that same day! When she stopped by she even sent me photos of my girl which made me so happy, most importantly she gave Josie her medication which was my biggest concern. Thank you so much Tanya!”

“Kadie was absolutely incredible watching our two kitties while we were away for a week. She did everything perfectly, was communicative and kept us updated the whole time, and was just so kind, polite, and easy to work with. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she watches. We felt so much better being away knowing our boys were in such good hands. We’re really grateful to have someone like her in the area and would highly, highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter! Thank you Kadie!!!”

“Liseli stayed in our house several nights to cat sit our babies while we were traveling. She has provided an exceptional , smart and very qualified service beyond what we could have expected, always attentive to the cat moods and comfort, keeping us perfectly informed about the kitties and also sending many pictures. Our Maine Coon can be difficult, and she managed to win her over. We warmly recommend Liseli for pet sitting, and will definitely use her services again the next times we travel!”

“Erin was wonderful with our cat Bella, who can be a little wary of new people. She got Bella to come out everyday and sent us fantastic pictures. I highly recommend Erin to anyone looking for a friendly, reliable pet-sitter. We are so, so grateful for the peace of mind she gave us while we were away!”

“Did a great job with my kitties—went above and beyond taking care of them, super reliable, and good communication. Left my place in great condition, and my kitties love her!”

About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. I have a German Shepherd that I keep separated from the work I do with other animals. I am located at a small farmhouse in Augusta that has a huge yard with two a-joining fields. There is more than enough room to explore the surround with your pet. I am also an avid walker so exercise is big for me generally.
“Hannah was the BEST! She really is an animal lover. Our cats took to her upon meeting her for the first time because she gave them each individual attention and pets to introduce herself. She was responsive, sent pics, and I did not worry. We came back to an immaculate house, and 3 happy cats. Thank you Hannah!”

“This was our second time having Abigail care for our dogs. We left town for Thanksgiving, and she stepped right in like a familiar friend to both of our pups. Our Norwegian Elkhound warmed up to her immediately, and she handled his vocal personality with total ease. Our Chocolate Lab, who still struggles with some anxiety, was noticeably more relaxed this time thanks to the trust she’s built with him. Abigail kept us updated throughout her visits, and it gave us so much peace of mind while spending time with family. It’s clear she remembers their personalities, routines, and quirks, and she genuinely cares about their comfort. We’re so grateful to have someone we can depend on, and we would absolutely recommend Abigail to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter.”

“I found Tyler to be a very responsible dog owner who truly enjoys caring for dogs of all sizes. He is very compassionate, patient and understanding when it comes to ensuring your dog has a safe and fun filled day. Tyler and his dog Clarence treated my Great Dane puppy just like family. My puppy absolutely adores both of them tremendously!! I would highly recommend Tyler for your dog sitting needs. He goes above and beyond!”

“Melanie, her doggies, and her family are the best! Loretta can be a little shy at first - but quickly became a part of the crew and had had fun everyday playing with her new friends. Melanie and her whole family made Loretta feel right at home. We felt good leaving her knowing that she would be spending all day running around outside and playing with buddies, or finding a cozy spot to sleep in the sun on their beautiful deck. We highly recommend Melanie and will totally reach out again the next time we find ourselves in the area.”

About: I have experience with puppies, training, dogs with anxiety, geriatric dogs and more. I also have experience with complex health needs and care in dogs. I work from home as a travel agent. I realized one of the biggest concerns for travelers was their dogs and the thought of having to use kennel services. Since I have the ability to be with the dogs all day it made sense to offer my home and a family setting. Our dog Sweety sleeps with us at night and so do our guest dogs. Unless that isn’t happening at home. The dogs we care for are like family during their visit. We live in a very private setting. While we don’t have fencing, we do have a large private yard on a private dirt road. We live on 5 acres.
“Very caring couple of dog lovers. Our best buddy, Duffy, spent a day last week with Bridget and Gael. He is a nervous Nelly, but accepted his sitters without complaint. He made some new friends and was a happy pooch. We would not hesitate to have him cared for there again when we are in the Camden area.”

About: I have always worked with dogs. I have a specialty in dog grooming and can add that service if requested. I care for dogs like they are my family because they are. I work full time in my grooming business I am flexible and will do my best to fit anyone in to make sure their animals are well cared for in all capacity I have an outdoor kennel and grooming station in my home I have a big backyard and animals safety and care is always my top priority.
“Highly recommend Jacki for anyone in or visiting the Rockland area. Pick-up and drop-off were a breeze. Our dog happily went right with her as if she knew her for forever and on the second day our dog gave full body wiggles when she realized she got to stay a second day. She was a happy and TIRED dog when we got home. Jacki's dogs were wonderful doggie hosts and welcoming friends.”

About: I have lots of experience working with animals, including time working at an animal hospital during high school, where I learned to care for pets of all kinds. I’m familiar with administering medications and meeting the unique needs of different animals. I am currently searching for a summer job while taking a couple summer classes while i finish my associate degree. My schedule is very open! In my home i have one dog a very friend golden retriever who loves playdates and we have a big yard by woods. I’m very attendant and anxious so i spend a lot of time outside with my dog and love going for walks
“Molly is so sweet and kind it made leaving our baby a little easier. She was so understanding with our timeline changes and open to do whatever we need. She sent pictures and let me ask a million questions and it was peace of mind. I would 10/10 recommend Molly!!”

About: I am ... (potentially-to-an-unhealthy-degree) *obsessed* with animals. Growing up, I was the little girl nagging her dad to get her kittens or crying to my mom about wanting a puppy, and y'know what? It worked ;) Ever since I was a little girl, we've never been a house without an animal: cats, dogs, birds, fish, hamsters ... you name it, I was listening to my maternal instincts to care for cute, lil' fluffy things and I was in my priiimeee because of it!! As I've gotten older, I've fallen in love with the process of working with animals to ease their anxieties or past traumas, training my dogs to have routine and rules that help them become more confident and secure in themselves, and genuinely just love cuddling, loving up on any animal that comes my way — because they deserve it. Experience with rescues, foster dogs, puppies, elderly dogs. I run my own business and work 100% from home (with the occasional work meeting outside of the house.) I'm looking for a little part-time work that's fulfilling and will give my dog some friends to hang and play with during the day, so — I have plenty of time to love up on your pets while you're busy doing what *you* need to do :) Pets in my house are allowed on furniture, on the couches, etc. We have an awesome backyard that our dogs love playing in, swimming in the pool, chasing squirrels or the occasional lizard ... you know. Highly important dog business and responsibilities to tend to. If you're wanting help in your home, I'm happy to abide by any rules you have for pets but, my general rule in my place is to find ways for them to feel comfortable and capable of feeling at ease with us!
About: I have had dogs and cats most of my adult life. I truly love the bond between a pet and caregiver. I’m a true believer that pets are family and should be treated as such. I’m physically active and enjoy the outdoors. Experienced in basic care and needs of dogs and cats I work part time, and I am very flexible with my schedule. I would be open to overnights possibly depending on the length of time. I be would prefer to care for your pet in your home. I have a cat and it’s better for me to come to your home.

He has some reactivity so make sure his walkers are equipped to handle his needs is paramount and Nicole did a great job making sure he not only got what he needed but also had a great time. 100/10 would recommend to anyone who has a special pup!”

“Ashley is absolutely wonderful with my dog! She is reliable, caring, and clearly loves animals. My dog was so excited when Ashley came over our meet and greet. I feel at ease knowing my pup is in great hands. Ashley provides updates and photos, which I really appreciate. I highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive dog walker!”

About: Professional Groomer, trainer, accepting pets in home for extended stay. Farm, fence, full play room, individualized care, puppies and aged dogs welcome! It’s a dog’s life 🐾 Full availability, 7 days a week - holidays included! Active home with quiet spaces and experienced care. Full care and integration into our daily routine if it works for your pet - we’re up early, and on the go - lots of socialization (or not, if that’s your pups jam!) play, enrichment time and experiences. This is my full-time commitment and passion. My background includes Grooming, Training, Seminar’s in dog behavior, pet CPR and first aid, and running a large boarding and grooming facility. I am Licensed by the State of Maine for boarding 🐾 I utilize a lot of tools to keep everyone happy, healthy, and safe - kennels, gates, double leashes, double fencing, cameras (indoor and out!) and a very specific routine that I have found works for this little home. Please be aware - dogs need to be kennel trained to board here. I DO use them at feed time, and for nap times as needed, to keep all the dogs in my care safe. I ask that you send your dogs meals pre-packed, or in a reasonable (for their stay) container. Please leave “favorites “ that cannot be replaced at home. This includes beds! I provide fresh, daily, clean toys and blankets, plus raised cot beds. Feed time is 2X per day, with 2X per day “stimulation” snacks prior to nap time. I provide all snacks, but need to know if your pup has a special diet. If your dog has separation anxiety, I really need to know. It doesn’t mean I won’t take your dog, but it DOES mean I have to structure things differently for that particular stay, and rates will be discussed. My own dog has SA, so I understand; I just need the information to plan accordingly.

I will adhere to your wants and rules for your animals. I love my pets, and I will treat yours as if they are my own. But I will not do anything, give them anything, or let them do anything you do not approve of.
