Extended visits may be recommended for multiple pets, senior pets, or more involved routines. DOGGY DAY CARE Small-group day care is offered on a limited basis for dogs I already know. Care is calm, structured, supervised, and not a chaotic free-for-all. This is not a high-volume facility-style service. I plan my schedule intentionally to support well-defined care needs and clear timelines. This allows me to provide consistent, attentive care whether you’re traveling nearby or farther from home. Safety and consistency are always a priority. I follow established routines, respect household instructions, and pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, or comfort. “Where do I start! Melissa and Family are truly the BEST Rover experience we have had! EVER! The care Bella received was priceless! The house and grounds are a dog’s paradise!!! And the humans made sure Bella had daily walks in the woods, swim in the pond, chasing squirrels and chipmunks …so much so, Bella ate and slept well. This is a FIRST FOLKS! About: I've always had dogs or cats as pets. I currently have 2 dogs now. Dashy is 16 year old Dashhound who was severely neglected and abandoned at 13 and Beau now 8 is a Rat Terrier mix adopted as a puppy. Both boys are very friendly, happy, healthy and quite spoiled. I also have my Pet CPR & First Aid cert from Red Cross as well as some behavioral training. I work best senior, handicapped and terminally ill pets though the fee may change depending of medical need. I'm retired and I have full daily availability from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and some night time availability as well as overnights. I have a fenced/blocked back yard, another fur baby and plenty of room for them to play. Grass, gazebo and lawn Charis for them! The inside is spacious and safe for dogs and dog friendly cats.

About: I used to work in a Kennel and worked with many different breeds of dogs and cats. I have worked with mean dogs and lovely dogs. I have worked with senior dogs as well. Growing up I have always had animals in my house and I always plan to. I work at a senior care facility in 3 days a week, 12 hour shifts. Seeing as I do work long shifts, my mother is able to run over and let dogs out during the day. I help a friend out at Dirigo Pines every so often, usually for 6 hours, but can take breaks. Other than that I just sit at the house I'm at amd relax. I dont get out of work late, usually six and feed dinner when I get home. I dont have any pets at the moment, but always have throughout my life. I have had a deaf cat, senior dogs and small animals. I can give medication if needed. I also try to take wals if the weather is nice.

I usually consult the owner and try to stick to the pets regular schedule as close as possible. I usually visit dogs three or four times a day and do one or two walks and for cats I visit once or twice a day or as many times as the owner would like.
About: I have always had dogs in my life, and I currently have 3 of my own. I worked in veterinary emergency and critical care for 2 years and spent several months at a fear-free general practice before needing to take a step back from vetmed. I have 6 years of personal experience with dog training and behavior, and spent some time volunteering for a rescue on the administrative end. I am very knowledgeable on dog behavior/body language and I am comfortable working with a wide range of temperaments, ages, and breeds. I use reward-based/force-free handling techniques with any dog I interact with. I try my hardest to set dogs up for success in my interactions with them - I am not afraid to spend as much time as needed to gain the trust of a fearful dog before attempting to interact directly. I am a strong believer in using body language, reward, and moving at the dog's pace to ensure dogs make good choices and have a positive experience every time they interact with me. I treat all pets I interact with as if they are my own!

About: I've taken care of animals since I was 10. I care for all animals even the fur babies that have anxiety away from home. They will be loved and you will have tons of photos I can pet sit during the early mornings or late at nights. Staying at the animals comfort home so they won't have too much anxiety while you're away. I can care for any animals at the comfort of your animals home. About: I’ve taken care of dogs cats rabbits and horses ever since I was 10. I’ve cared for new born kittens as well as senior cats at the Humane Society for almost 10 years. And cared for my neighbors’ dogs. From volunteering I’ve learn much about behaviors for both dogs and cats and have discovered I have a talent for working with them. They get fed on special foods on a schedule. When they are eating I clean their cat boxes and when they are finished, I clean their bowls. Before they begin their daily naps , I play with each of them. They range in age from 19 to 1 yr. I also check their water bowls throughout the day or night depending. I can give them treats anytime. About: I've always had dogs or cats as pets. I currently have 2 dogs now. Dashy is 16 year old Dashhound who was severely neglected and abandoned at 13 and Beau now 8 is a Rat Terrier mix adopted as a puppy. Both boys are very friendly, happy, healthy and quite spoiled. I also have my Pet CPR & First Aid cert from Red Cross as well as some behavioral training. I work best senior, handicapped and terminally ill pets though the fee may change depending of medical need. I'm retired and I have full daily availability from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and some night time availability as well as overnights. I have a fenced/blocked back yard, another fur baby and plenty of room for them to play. Grass, gazebo and lawn Charis for them! The inside is spacious and safe for dogs and dog friendly cats.
