About: I’ve always been around dogs and got my own dog 8 years ago. I have have always taken care of dogs in my neighborhood for long amount of time or for even just to feed or let out. About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.

They took him on some fun adventures: canoeing, camping on a trampoline, hikes in the B woods etc with their own dog. .Coco was treated like a member of their family. I was so charmed and relieved to see photos and videos they sent often during our week apart. He received so much love that I wonder if he missed me as much as I missed him. About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.

About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.

Since I will be commuting, I have availability throughout the week for drop-in visits and walks. Outside of school, I spend most of my time caring for my two German Shepherds, spending time with my two sisters, and enjoying walks by the water. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I love being active and spending time outdoors. I do my best to accommodate each pet owner’s schedule and will always communicate clearly about my availability. I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and trusted environment for every pet in my care. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or taking them out for a walk, I take the time to learn their routine, understand their needs, and build trust at their own pace. For dog owners: I am confident handling both large and small dogs, including those who may be reactive or require extra leash awareness. I focus on keeping walks safe, enjoyable, and tailored to each dog’s comfort level and personality while maintaining close attention to their surroundings. For cat owners: I offer drop-in visits for a time frame we discuss beforehand and will make sure your cat’s daily needs are met. Whether that includes feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, administering medication, or simply providing companionship, I make each cat feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. About: Hi, I'm a Wildlife Conservation, Animal Behavior and Biology undergrad that LOVES being outside! I have grown up alongside animals my entire life, and I know how to recognize behavioral signs before the reactions occur. I have experience with all ages and breeds of dogs, cats, barnyard friends, and exotic reptiles/birds/mammals etc... I am very seasoned in the patience department, and I love making fun puzzles with treats or toys. I frequently go on long walks/runs with energetic animals, and I've got a mean overhand throw that is guaranteed to tire them out! With senior animals, I like to read out loud to them and sunbathe out in the yard (if they are outdoor pets). About: I'm an experienced doggy foster, boarding more than 10 new-to-Maine rescues last year before adopting a sweet little pup of my own. As a new dog parent, I know how difficult it can be to find reliable, affordable, overnight care - plus a place my pup will actually enjoy! My pup, Marcy, is a 1-year old blackmouth cur. She's a regular at the dog park and very well socialized across a range of doggy personalities. I have a safe, calm house with a fenced-in yard. I also work remotely, meaning your dog would have lots of attention and a watchful eye. Although I'm primarily listing my offering as dog boarding at my home, Marcy and I are flexibile so long as there is reliable internet. So please reach out if you prefer boarding at your home instead. Note that Marcy is gentle not prey driven, though she's only been introduced to one cat. If you have kitties, let's do a meet-n-greet to ensure it's a good fit. Reach out with any questions! I work at home, with flexibility around meetings for walks, dog park trips, and potty/training breaks. I’m available to pet sit any day of the week. At my home: I have a 4 ft fenced-in yard for play time, which turns into an at-home dog park when Marcy has a visitor. Note that the fence isn't foolproof for an escape artist or high jumper. Dogs are allowed throughout the house and on couches, if they choose. Sleeping arrangements are flexible, especially knowing visiting pups can sometimes feel more comfortable sleeping in bed with a human. Marcy is crate-trained, and I have a large crate in case your pup needs a designated safe space.
About: I’ve always been around dogs and got my own dog 8 years ago. I have have always taken care of dogs in my neighborhood for long amount of time or for even just to feed or let out. I have a full time job Monday thru Thursday but I’m free on the weekends. I’m most likely will not be available for major holidays . I live in a new apartment building that has a small dog park. About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.

About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.

About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.
