About: We are a military family and have three children (youngest is 15). We live on 41 acres, mostly all forest. We own four horses, two barn cats, two goats, four sheep, a bunch of chickens, a bearded dragon, an house cat, and three small dogs so we have a large variety of animal experience. If you are just looking for a dog walker or someone to drop in at your home, I can certainly do that at least twice a day where needed. I just ask that your pet be leash trained beforehand. I am currently working part time as a large animal veterinarian assistant but there is someone at the house most the day. We can accommodate just about any schedule within reason. We have a small fenced back yard and three small dogs for playmates (the cat mostly hides 95% of the day). The rest of our property is secluded in the woods. Probably best to actively be on tick meds as even if we never go in to the woods, the woods do completely surround us and we have found a few ticks on the dogs in our two and a half years here so far. Kennel time as needed only, we prefer “down time” of just lounging around freely whenever possible, but do require animals to be kennel trained just in case something urgent or emergent arises.
