About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life and have over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for pets. Growing up, my mom had five dogs—some of which had puppies—and I helped raise and care for them. I’ve also cared for cats in multi-pet households, including feeding, litter box maintenance, and creating calm, safe environments for shy or senior cats. About: I was a cat sitter during my first few years of high school. My neighbor was out of state and asked me to take care of her cat. During this time, I would visit at minimum, three times a day to make sure the cat had food and water, had some playtime, and to clean and freshen the litter box. About: Active Dog Loving Grandparents We enjoyed the pleasure of having pets our entire lives, they have brought us a sense of peace and joy and best of all unconditional love. Our best friends have been Boston Terrier’s, German Sheppard’s, American Bulldogs and Boxers. They are all unique in their personalities but all love to be loved, just like us. We are retired so one of us are at home all the time. We live on a great fence property with an awesome nieghborhood that we love to take walks around multiple times a day (weather permitting.) The dogs usually have a grand time taking a run around the property and playing. Should it be too warm of course they enjoy the air conditioning ? Now that our children are grown and married with children/dogs we occasionally keep their Boxer brother (Duke) and sister (Honey) and our grandchildren too. You can feel safe leaving your pets in our care. We will look after them and love them like our own! In fact, they may not want to leave as our grand-dogs do? About: I've always been great with animals, able to read them and good at figuring out what they need. I volunteered at Animal Welfare League of Queen Anne's County for several years starting in High School. I've worked closely with large animals with behavioral problems, so I'm down the handle whatever quirks your pet has. I have a fenced yard in our home and a friendly, playful 2 year old male lab (fixed). If your dog is in my home, they do need to be friendly with other dogs. About: I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and ages, from small dogs to large breeds and playful puppies. I’m currently training our own puppy, so I have hands-on experience with patience, consistency, basic training, and keeping a young dog engaged. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’ll take the time to make sure your pet feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I work three days a week, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability on my days off, especially weekends. I enjoy spending time with pets and can dedicate time to walks, playtime, training, and companionship. My flexible schedule allows me to give each pet the attention they need rather than simply fitting them into a busy routine. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and at home. We have a backyard (not fenced) and are close to great walking paths, a golf course, and a dog park, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks, play, and exercise. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and adjust activities based on their age, energy level, and personality. Most importantly, they’ll get plenty of attention, affection, and supervision while you’re away.
