I let Gisel know what was going on with Kola, as she was licking and chewing her paws and they were very red. I kept socks on her paws and gave her Benadryl in between the meds from the vet. Gisel also kept this up for the four days Kola stayed with her family. I was so thankful and appreciative of the extra care Gisel and her family gave Kola. Kola’s itchy paws popped up so last minute and Gisel assured me she would take great care of her and she did just that! I would definitely use Gisel again for Kola!”

About: While I may not have much professional experience I have owned a variety of pets my entire life from dogs and cats to bunnies and squirrels! I even interned at a veterinary office. I currently work a full-time job but I am looking to fill my time with pet care during the evenings after 4 and all day during the weekends. No kids, married for over 40 years and living on a small farm in White Hall where we care for our menagerie of 4 legged friends. Our alpacas are registered breeding stock and the guineas are for general amusement. But, the cats and dogs are all rescues, receive regular vet care and are fed on a routine schedule. We care deeply about their well being, nurse them like children when they are sick and spend a great deal of time and effort keeping them healthy and happy. We are regulars with our local vet and feed mill and know the area well. Hard work and long days are par for the course for us. Our common sense is well polished and we pay great attention to detail and feel quality communication is key to any relationship. We have been renovating a small farm house for many years, a work in progress as they say. We like to do business in the local community and are now in a position to offer our experience to the pet owners in our area. We are professional without being stuffy and want all animals to enjoy a high quality of life. As a full time photographer, I work in my studio most days and sometimes weekends too. Pets are either with me in the studio, or in the house with us at night. Your dogs join me in the studio on days I am working there, and they'll have one feline companion. I am retired and available days, evenings, weekends, and most holidays to meet your pets needs and your schedule to keep on your pets routine. “We first went to Melissa's for a meet and greet. Later I brought my dogs back to her house for a 4 night stay. They were pulling me towards her gate happy to be there. They liked the fenced yard, being able to explore freely. Melissa sent us a picture and short update everyday. I picked up very happy pups on Monday. Highly recommend Melissa.”

“She had done greet with our dog lili she is about a year and six months old no issues at all very knowledgeable of dogs in their situations as well as understanding their behavior with no issues she took care of my dog and my dog played with her dog so now my dog has a friend they went to the park together and everything and she bought my dog back, clean safe and sound no issues Thank you very much once again for watching her for the five days. It’s been great. We definitely use her again just for dog play dates. Also she’s amazing. Don’t hesitate.”

About: Hello! I am a veterinary technician of 8 years and pet owner of 20+ years who is highly experienced in animal care and petsitting. As a cat, horse, and previous dog owner myself I understand that our pets are our family! I look forward to meeting your fur baby! I work part time hours and am off weekends and holidays. I’m happy to spend my free time playing, walking, and spending time with your pet! While at work crates, gates, or free roam can be used depending on your pets needs and comfort. Pets will be monitored through pet cams during working hours. While in my home pets can have free roam or access to a crate depending on their needs and comfort. For walks I utilize harnesses and if needed can add a back up slip lead if owner feels more comfortable to ensure safety. Pets will always have access to fresh water and toys and will be well loved while in my care!
