I've also taken care of animals other then cats and dogs. I've done rabbits and Guinea pigs. I feed, give baths, give medications and walks. I can currently do this full time. If you ask me to do a 24 hour stay. I am available for that as well. I just need to know at least 4 days ahead of time. My SO travels for work. And I would need to fit my dog into that schedule. Just know I will have other pets to take care while staying at your home. And will not be there 24/7. I will be staying at your house on my breaks and overnight if requested. We do not have a fenced in backyard. But we do take him on several walks a day. Regardless of the weather. He is unbothered by it.

I currently work 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday. But I can do walks anytime outside of those hours. We have a great relationship with numerous veterinarians in our area, including exotic, farm animal and your typical small animal veterinarians. I have experience with administering oral and injectable meds to cats, dogs and equine. We also have experience with reptile feeding. While staying at your home, Along with providing loving care to your animal(s) We can water plants, bring in mail, put garbage cans out or any other tasks you might need, so that you will be stress free when returning. Unfortunately, we can't take any more animals in at my home since we have quite a few of our own and 2 fosters at this time. ***Please make note….if you have a pet that can not stay home alone for at least 5 hours or if you have a pet that needs 24 hour care, there will be a $25 fee added to each nights stay. I have every other weekend off as well as Thursdays. Saturday I have a half day and every Sunday is guaranteed off. I also have major Holidays off. I have many pets of my own at home and often find myself feeding them and caring for them before myself most days! Some may call that crazy, but it’s just the way I roll! I love all animals big and small :)
About: I’ve been taking care of a family friends cats and dog for a few years now! But before that I was either helping out at human society or caring for childhood friends and family pets! Im free most days of the week! I work part time at a florist, usually helping out on Fridays and weekends and also help out a catering business around three times a month. Moved my beloved kitty’s into our new house back in November, ever since we’ve been building cat walk and plan to build a catio for even more stimulation. About: Simply put, I truly LOVE animals. I have always enjoyed spending time with, and playing with pets of all kinds. I will put your pets' needs above my own. I'm currently working full time, but I am usually home when not at work. I live 5 minutes away from my job, so I will always be available for your fur babies even while working if I need to be. I care for pets the same way I would care for a baby. Their needs are always more important than mine, and I will always make time for them. They also get plenty of attention and play time! Please note: I will have to crate them while at work. This is the ONLY time they will be crated. I will also be home around 1:30 for lunch to take your pet out for a potty break.

About: I’ve always helped out neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family friends with their pets. My simple pleasure is taking dogs on long walks and being outside. I’m currently working part time so I’ll be free for walks and playing with your animals very often. I’m easy to schedule if you need mornings, afternoons, or both! I take dogs on long long walks (at least a mile) I can of course do less if your dog isn’t up to the challenge. I love to play after a walk as well.

“Amazing sitter for my German Shepherd! I can’t say enough good things about Shakiyla! She watched my German Shepherd, Bucky, for 4 days and took such amazing care of him. Bucky can be a handful with his high energy and anxiety, but she handled him so well. At the last minute, we also asked if she could watch my mom’s dog, Kandi (a Husky/Shepherd mix), and she was more than willing. She cared for Kandi just as wonderfully, making sure her needs were met too. What really impressed me was her communication—she even put me, my mom, and my husband in a group chat so we all stayed updated. That way, if she couldn’t reach one of us, she could easily contact someone else. She went above and beyond by sending daily videos and pictures, which really put me at ease while I was away. On top of that, she shared some really helpful suggestions for Bucky that showed she genuinely cared about his well-being. I am so grateful to have found her, and I plan to book with her every time I need someone to look after Bucky. She’s the best!”
