About: I grew up with multiple pets, including two cats in my childhood and a wonderful dog that I helped care for in her seniority, so I've been familiar with animals all my life. Currently, I own and aided in training a high-maintenance, special needs German Shepherd. He's a sweetheart, but he's definitely a commitment! Given his intensely anxious nature, he needs a patient hand to calm him often. He's also epileptic, so I am well practiced in attentiveness, administering medication, following specialized meal plans and the like if needed. I have also done pet and house sitting on many occasions, particularly for family and friends but for a wide variety of pets– from little dogs that didn't even reach my knee, to my own Shepherd, who stands just about as tall as my hip. I've house kept for up to a week, entertaining young dogs and going on daily walks, etc. I am always happy to be introduced to new little ones and have a high pain tolerance when it comes to their claws, so I don't mind when they get a bit rowdy, either! High energy or low, I will gladly make time for any fluffy friends who need a watchful eye. I am currently on track to earn a Bachelor's in the Arts from Towson University, which is about a 50 minute commute from my home. With this in mind, my current class schedule entails that Towson days are essentially unavailable; however, the rest of the week, I'm generally left plenty of room to take on pet care! Life is always busy, and while sometimes I wind up with too many commitments to do it regularly, I'll always make time for it when I can. Though my own home may not be an ideal place for another pet to spend nights due to my Shepherd's nervousness, I will gladly offer my time to visit others. I have previously found myself curled up on a couch with a pet I was taking care of overnight, or even falling asleep on the floor with them. So long as their pet parents are happy for me to do so, I will gladly stay wherever is most comfortable for the pet involved, and take food/water/sleeping arrangements where they are best suited. I also have a fair sense of direction, so I'm perfectly content on walks in unfamiliar places, especially when I have friendly doggos with me!

I've worked with many different breeds, from doxins and Jack Russels to boxers, Staffies, and St Bernards, and dogs of all ages. I have experience with senior dogs, and dogs with many health issues, including seizures, surgery recovery, and dogs that need LOTS of medication. Whether they are clingy couch potatoes or would rather have their space, I have had them in my house! I currently work full time, but with a hybrid schedule, and would be able to be fully available for your pets when working from home and weekends. I have a fenced in yard with grass and lots of things to explore and observe. No other dogs in the house currently. Plenty of windows if your dog likes to supervise their surroundings, and plenty of dog toys and room to play inside. If your dog prefers smaller areas, the house is easily sectioned off for safe spaces to decompress, and there is room for a crate if that is what they want/need. Lots of walking trails through the neighborhood and woods for adventures.

About: Ive been taking care of my neighbors, friends, and families pets for a little over 8 years now. Over the years I have learned many things about pets and how to calm them down and gently direct them in the right path. I also have lots of experience with senior dogs who need more attention to detail than younger dogs. Pet care fits into my daily routine quite well. Im a sophomore at frederick community college living at home, so my hours are almost always completely available! I am the dominant pet care taker in my home with two dogs (my angels). I care for pets in my clients home by greeting them and let them get to know me. If the client has a fenced in yard for me to take the dogs out and play thats amazing, but if not I take the dogs for nice walk to get them exercise and some entertainment. About: Not only have I been a pet owner for my whole life I have also been put in charge of taking care of family member's pets, former bosses pets, and friends pets. About: I’m an experienced animal caretaker comfortable with pets of all species, ages, temperaments, and care needs. My background includes training challenging dogs, caring for neonatal kittens, mucking stalls, administering IV fluids, raising poultry and small animals, and over 20 years of experience with dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles. I’m confident with special-needs pets, unusual animals, and complicated routines—and I’ll care for every animal with patience, attentiveness, and kindness. I work a standard 8 am - 4 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. I am available to care for boarded animals in the morning before I leave and in the evenings when I return from work in those days, with the same diligence and love I give my own animals. For all other days, I am either off or working from home and I am generally available to provide care. If I am visiting your home, I would like to have a meet and greet with you and your animals before you head out of town to establish their normal schedules and routines. During appointments, I will give your animals the same love and care that I give my own. If you are scheduling to have an animal boarded, your animal(s) will be given their own room separate from other animals in the house, with direct access to a large, fenced-in yard, their own beds and towels, and constant access to water. Walks, treats, meals, and medications will be given on an agreed upon schedule. Potty breaks will occur no less than once in the morning, once before and after dinner, and once before bedtime. I do not accept outside bedding and all guests must be up to date on vaccines and treated for fleas and ticks prior to boarding.
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs of all sizes, including my two cats and my 80 lb English yellow lab.
