About: Cats hold a very special place in my heart, since allergies in my family prevented me from owning one of my own. I have loved them my entire life, however, and gained experience taking care of them through my friends' pets and my training as a Petco specialist.
About: I owned a dog for 13 years before she passed away, I was in charge of feeding her and I would take care of her while my parents were gone. I also have watched cats several times while they’re owners are away. I work 2 part time jobs, so weekday care might look differently than the weekend, but I am always willing to try and fit watching your pet into it my schedule! When I had my own dog I would feed and give water to her everyday, take her out to potty multiple times a day, take her on walks, and play. With cats, I always make sure they’re fed and have water, litter box is clean, and if they would like to play I play with them!

In high school I worked as a kennel technician at a boarding kennel and gained an internship at the local veterinary office. now in college, I am studying animal science to hopefully get a degree in veterinary medicine, and continue to pet sit for my friends and family including both cats and dogs. “I have never felt more comfortable with leaving my precious Corgi, Lugnut, than with Jim and Mary. It is evident as soon as you talk to them that they understand your dog is a family member. They are flexible with pick up and drop off times. The best part is they send pictures of the fun times throughout the day. I have used them many times, and are the first people I contact when we need someone to watch our pup. I could not sing their praises enough. “Lydia was fantastic! She welcomed her home to us with her lovely family including her chickens during our meet and greet. We proceeded to boarding 2 nights with her. Her home provided a warm, cozy and energetic vibe for our Poodle who is out going and craves human interaction. Lydia was not familiar with poodle grooming initially but after a quick demonstration and positive feedback she mastered it in no time. I appreciated her attention to detail, ability to communicate throughout the day and her willingness to learn how to care for specific dog breeds. It was a mutual rewarding experience and she even supervised her children doing obedience training with our pup.”
