“Benny has been to Rodney’s house twice- once for doggy day care and once for boarding. He had a blast there and had tons of fun romping around with Rodney’s pups. Rodney accommodated a slightly different pickup due to ice and snow, which I greatly appreciated. Rodney also didn’t have a problem wiping off Benny’s paws (he had an allergic reaction to some treats right before he went), and his paws looked better when we picked him up. At other boarding facilities when this has happened (we are constantly fighting his allergies as we learn what he can/can’t eat), he has always come home in worse shape than when we left. Not at Rodney’s house. He received loving care during his stay and it showed! We also got tons of pictures from Benny’s stay. Thanks Rodney!”

With over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, I’ve learned that every pup is different and deserves care that’s just as unique as they are. About: I’ve been taking care of my dogs ever since I was able to walk. I enjoy spending time with my dog and taking her for walks and adventures. Currently work a part-time job that is very flexible with hours. I normally work mostly evenings and my morning/afternoons are normally opening would be able to work evenings also if needed. I feed my dog every day I take her for walks most days. I take her outside to go play frisbee and to go to the bathroom when needed.

About: I will treat your pet as if it is my own and will make sure they stay calm and happy while you are away!! I have experience with older dogs and puppies! I am available almost all summer.I am a full time college student working on my Bachelors of science but I am home for the summer. Pet sitting can be fit into my schedule as needed. I can let the dogs run outside for a while in a fenced yard, I can take them on walks through the neighborhood, I can practice commands, or just give some snuggles.
About: I’ve been caring for family and neighbors’ pets since I was 16. My experience includes pet sitting for dogs and cats, caring for horses while owners were away, and hands-on care for a variety of animals including turtles, rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, and fish. I’m reliable, attentive, and treat every pet like my own while following their routines closely. I only work 4 days a week at my other job, which gives me 2 full days off to focus on pet care. This allows me to be flexible, attentive, and fully present for your pets’ needs, routines, and schedules. I can occasionally do every other Saturday as well with my full time job. For my personal animals at home I take pet-proofing my home to a new level (toxic plants, cords, small objects). I also make sure they are living in cleanliness regularly as we would like to! (tanks, cages, coops, litter boxes spotless) Lastly, I think spending quality time with them every day is the most important part in owning my pets.
About: I’ve been taking care of my dogs ever since I was able to walk. I enjoy spending time with my dog and taking her for walks and adventures. Currently work a part-time job that is very flexible with hours. I normally work mostly evenings and my morning/afternoons are normally opening would be able to work evenings also if needed. I feed my dog every day I take her for walks most days. I take her outside to go play frisbee and to go to the bathroom when needed.
About: I have always had animals from reptiles, ferrets, dogs, cats and everything in between. I know life happens and sometimes we need help in giving them the love and care they need! I am available at anytime any day! Please let me know if there are any last minute adjustments but I should be able to make anything work. About: I am a long-time animal lover and human companion to many dogs! I adore my 4 rescue dogs, my 2 rescue cats, and my 2 happy humans! We spend our time creating a fun, happy, positive atmosphere full of good energy! I am experienced in caring for all types of dogs and cats, chickens, small animals, and have basic equine care experience. I have cared for dogs for over 30 years. I have fostered and provided support for dogs from young puppies to seniors that require special treatment, diet, medication and/or physical assistance, including amputee rehabilitation. One of my rescues (Penny) is blind, Luna has a single lung after three heart surgeries, and two are active seniors, Lani and Fiji! I use touch therapy on my dogs, along with holistic methods and work hard to keep our home full of health and happiness. Making sure our beautiful companions are comfortable, happy, and healthy is my goal! I feed my own dogs a holistic and healthy diet, and make their food and snacks myself. I volunteer with a local pet rescue group, where I transport animals, and help the organization with applications and adoptions. My true passion is to make babies with 4 legs wag their tails and show me that their hearts are truly happy! I am excited to bring my love, care, and joy to your pets, too!

“Benny has been to Rodney’s house twice- once for doggy day care and once for boarding. He had a blast there and had tons of fun romping around with Rodney’s pups. Rodney accommodated a slightly different pickup due to ice and snow, which I greatly appreciated. Rodney also didn’t have a problem wiping off Benny’s paws (he had an allergic reaction to some treats right before he went), and his paws looked better when we picked him up. At other boarding facilities when this has happened (we are constantly fighting his allergies as we learn what he can/can’t eat), he has always come home in worse shape than when we left. Not at Rodney’s house. He received loving care during his stay and it showed! We also got tons of pictures from Benny’s stay. Thanks Rodney!”

About: For as long as I can remember, dogs have been a huge part of my life. With over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, I’ve learned that every pup is different and deserves care that’s just as unique as they are. For the past 7+ years, I’ve also been fostering dogs through local rescues. Helping dogs transition from uncertain beginnings into loving homes has been incredibly rewarding and has given me experience with many different temperaments, energy levels, and personalities. The idea of boarding dogs in my home came from a challenge I faced myself — finding a place that truly felt safe, loving, and comfortable for my own dogs when I had to go away. I wanted more than just a place for them to stay. I wanted them to feel cared for, understood, and treated like family. When your dog stays with me they will enjoy plenty of safe, supervised playtime in a large, fully fenced yard, giving them space to run, explore, and burn off those zoomies. Whether your dog loves active play or relaxing cuddle time, their comfort, safety, and happiness always come first. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. We’re used to having dogs around and all the activity and responsibility that comes with them, so caring for pets feels like a normal part of everyday life. When we don’t have any extras here, the house actually feels a little too quiet—like something is missing! I want every pet in my home to feel as comfortable and at home as possible. I try to keep their routine and familiar comforts as much as I can—if they sleep in the bed at home, they’re welcome in the bed here; if they love curling up on the couch, that’s where they’ll be. She is warm and friendly and her property is huge with all of the makings for a great time for dogs! Spacious and large grassed and fenced areas for playtime! Heather D graciously shared photos of Tucker having the time of his life. Tucker is a friendly dog and gets along with all animals he encounters so we were thrilled he’d have playmates with our visiting dogs. Fantastic photo moments of him running and playing with other dogs and some of the quieter moments like sitting on the couch watching TV with Heather D’s family. Her property was safe and clean and truly ideal for what she provides for boarding. I’d highly recommend Heather D and Tucker looks forward to spending time there again! 5 stars :)”
