About: I have taken care of cats and dogs my entire life. My family has always had pets, and I’m a natural pet lover. About two years ago I got my first domestic bunny, and now have two (of course Humphrey needed a bunwife). So I am experienced in bunny care as well. I am so excited to gain your trust by treating your fur babies like my own, and promise to make you feel secure leaving them with me! My schedule is pretty flexible. I babysit for a family in Preston three days a week but the times vary. It evens out to about 18/20 hours spread throughout three days so if your pet is here during those days they may be here without me for a few hours. My fiance does help when he’s off of work so as long as he’s home they would have him too. I own my home with my fiance, and we have a fenced in yard. The fence is about half of the height of your typical fenced in yard, so if your pet is curious and you think they would jump it we can accommodate a lead for your pet to be on just in case. This way they can still get the exercise and freedom a fenced in yard would provide. If your pet is used to going on walks, let me know so we can keep that same routine here. All outside playtime will be supervised as well. Our home contains a very friendly lab who is two and very high energy and gets excited easily, an older chihuahua mix (around 14 years old) and a middle aged chihuahua mix (6 years old). All pets in my home are vaccinated. I am also a nursing student and my boyfriend is a police officer, so we like to think this helps make us trustworthy and professional people who will give you peace of mind while you’re away.

In anything I do, I ensure your dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I treat all pets like they are family and build genuine bonds. Communication is key, so it is important that you not only communicate as much information about your dog to me so I can give the best experience, but also that you receive full reports on behavior, any changes I may have noticed in your pup, subtle signs of potential health concerns, etc. I will also work with your dog on basic training if needed during their stays, and educated you as needed on grooming maintenance, your pets body language and behavior shifts to elevate your bond at home as well. I do offer grooming services for any pets in my care. However, pricing and service completion will depend on the size of your dog, condition your pet is in, and their stress levels. I will never force a pet through a service. I am generally home all day. I do work as a groomer for pets that are unable to got to salons, but I do this from home as well. So your pets will have round the clock love and care. You will need to provide any food and specific treats if your pet has a favorite or dietary restrictions/allergies. Pets are family. I will personally take them for walks throughout the day for fresh air and exercise, play with them and ensure they feel comfortable and lived while you are away. I do offer creating services, however, depending on the size of your dog, you may have to supply the crate. You pet will always be treated like family, but the details of their routine and activities will depend on your instructions. I respect that different lifestyles require different things (i.e crating vs free roam, scheduled feeding vs grazing, scheduled walks/potty breaks vs whenever they want to go out, etc.) and will maintain that sense of normalcy as much as possible. If you opt for grooming, and I am able to comfortably groom your dog, grooming will take place 1-2 days before your return. That way they have time to decompress after, and if they are stressed for parts, it gives leeway to do little bits over time.

About: My wife and I love being with our dogs, we have 3 adopted dogs and 1 dog we received as a newborn puppy, and love meeting other owners and their pets. We take our dogs for walks at our lovely park across the street or to the dog park to let them run free with the other dogs. We also have a 5 acre yard for any animal to do what they please. We take our dogs on hikes on the red rock trails, have lots of toys for them to play with, spoil them with the right amount of dog treats. I’m comfortable with senior care for sure but young puppies and extremely young kittens are outside of my comfort zone. I’m currently commuting to SU for this last semester and finishing off a major doesn’t allow for a lot of job opportunities that were available previously due to the amount of at-home work required. Always. * Picture, video, and message updates about your pet! * Play time and exercise! * Trust that I will follow strict instructions and schedules if given. Routine is important. * Trust that your pup is being cared for someone experienced in emergency and medical situations. I will act quickly and always do what is best for your pet! In anything I do, I ensure your dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I treat all pets like they are family and build genuine bonds. Communication is key, so it is important that you not only communicate as much information about your dog to me so I can give the best experience, but also that you receive full reports on behavior, any changes I may have noticed in your pup, subtle signs of potential health concerns, etc. I will also work with your dog on basic training if needed during their stays, and educated you as needed on grooming maintenance, your pets body language and behavior shifts to elevate your bond at home as well. I do offer grooming services for any pets in my care. However, pricing and service completion will depend on the size of your dog, condition your pet is in, and their stress levels. I will never force a pet through a service. I am generally home all day. I do work as a groomer for pets that are unable to got to salons, but I do this from home as well. So your pets will have round the clock love and care. You will need to provide any food and specific treats if your pet has a favorite or dietary restrictions/allergies. Pets are family. I will personally take them for walks throughout the day for fresh air and exercise, play with them and ensure they feel comfortable and lived while you are away. I do offer creating services, however, depending on the size of your dog, you may have to supply the crate. You pet will always be treated like family, but the details of their routine and activities will depend on your instructions. I respect that different lifestyles require different things (i.e crating vs free roam, scheduled feeding vs grazing, scheduled walks/potty breaks vs whenever they want to go out, etc.) and will maintain that sense of normalcy as much as possible. If you opt for grooming, and I am able to comfortably groom your dog, grooming will take place 1-2 days before your return. That way they have time to decompress after, and if they are stressed for parts, it gives leeway to do little bits over time.
