About: I get along with animals pretty naturally. I do a lot of sitting for family and friends when they go on vacation. Giving love and care to your fur baby takes a lot of time and the DMV has a lot of traffic. It takes a village! I can pop in or stay over to make sure all physical and emotional needs are taken care of. I am a fitness instructor. My schedule changes and is flexible as long as I am given notice and clear instructions. I do not work full time. I do not have a fenced in yard, but can keep a crate. It is a townhouse so limited space, but plenty of parks and areas to walk your fur baby.

They kept our Giant active, which is important for a giant schnauzer. We could tell he was well cared for and enjoyed his time. “Found Melonie on Rover and first met her back in January for a meet and greet before a trip I had been planning. That trip ended up not happening, so this was actually our first time using her services. The original meet-up went so well. My dog Sky isn't very socialized and tends to be anxious around new people and places, so how quickly she took to Melonie was a great sign. This was also the first time we'd left Sky with anyone outside of family, so that mattered a lot to us. Since some time had passed, Melonie graciously offered to do another meet and greet before this booking. Sky warmed up to her right away again. This time I brought my daughter along, and she felt just as confident in Melonie as I did. We both knew Sky was in good hands. Melonie has such a calm, pleasant presence, and it clearly puts Sky at ease. She sent us daily updates with pictures throughout the stay, and Sky looked happy and relaxed in every one. We'll absolutely be booking with Melonie again in the future!”

“Lashelle was absolutely amazing with Rockie! From the moment I dropped him off, she kept me updated with thoughtful, detailed messages and plenty of photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Rockie is naturally anxious in new environments, but Lashelle was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. She understood his body language, gave him the space he needed to adjust, and helped him build confidence at his own pace. I especially appreciated how she handled introductions with her family and pets, always putting Rockie's comfort and safety first. It was clear she has a lot of experience with dogs and truly cares about their well-being. She kept me informed about everything—from his eating and potty habits to his progress settling in, making new friends, and even his funny moments watching TV! She also went above and beyond by cleaning him up after an accident without hesitation. By the end of his stay, Rockie had gone from being nervous to relaxing on the couch, enjoying the yard, snuggling with the family, and even warming up to everyone in the house. Seeing that progress meant so much to me. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. Lashelle treated Rockie like one of her own, and I knew he was loved and cared for every step of the way. They are quite knowledgeable about dogs and were intentional about easing our Buddy’s transition to their care since it was his first time with them. I received regular updates throughout the weekend, which made me feel so comfortable and reassured knowing she was happy, safe, and being completely spoiled with love and attention. You can tell they truly care about the dogs they watch and do so much more than just “pet sit.” They made Cocoa feel at home, and that means everything to me. I never once felt worried or uneasy while she was with them while away on my trip because they were so attentive and communicative.
