Since I have a small dog in my home, dogs over 40lbs will be considered on a case by case basis. A meet and greet is required for all dogs over 40lbs. Fortunately, my office is only ten minutes from home, so I’m able to come back each day during my lunch break to let the dogs out for a potty break and some playtime. My husband is a self-employed electrical contractor, and there are times when he’s home while I’m at work. When either of us is home, the dogs are taken out at least every two hours. We have a fully fenced yard and two friendly pups of our own. Because they experience a bit of separation anxiety, our dogs relax in their kennels when no one is home. For that reason, I ask that any dogs staying with us are crate trained as well. Crates are only used when the house is empty. Otherwise, all dogs are free to enjoy the home and make themselves comfortable.

About: My love for animals started the day a stray Bassett hound wandered into my garage at the ripe age of 4. Ever since then I have taken in all animals under my care as my own! I love take care of all the furry friends! I have personally owned puppies, big dogs, cats, fish, hedgehogs and gerbils - although not at the same time (could you imagine, yikes) and watched after the same! I have done any and all visits whether it is a quick play date or a longer visit due to vacation! I enjoy building a long term relationship to provide a dependable sitter throughout the year! I have a child in elementary school and work at a high school during the day. If and when an overnight sitter is needed, I assure you I make arrangements prior to accepting to give my 100% to your fur baby! I like to mimic the care the dog has at home to make sure they are most comfortable. In the beginning I expect normal hesitation, so I am patient and playful to earn trust until everyone is comfortable.
