“Michelle was awesome. She sent photos every day and answered any questions I had. Zoey was happy and healthy when I picked her up. It was Zoey's first three-night stay away from home and it went very well!”

“If I could give 10 stars, I would. Katelyn is very kind and helpful, in addition to being understanding of HoneyBee's blindness and separation Anxiety. I appreciate all the pictures and videos of my pup while I was away, and especially all the attention given to my pup as well as flexibility of scheduling. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.”

“As a first time user of Rover and first time search for a cat sitter, Elena definitely set the standard. From the first contact, Elena was incredibly responsive, very kind, and extremely welcoming of my babies. Elena and her children took such good care of my babies, as they allowed them space to adjust while being open to their affection as they warmed up. I had peace of mind that my babies were in good hands as she invited them into her home with open arms. When I picked Pocket and Rocket up, they were so soft from freshly brushed hair and calmer to get back into the car. I would absolutely recommend Elena to take care of your cats, as they will get plenty of cuddles, play time, and freedom to explore their new space. Thank you, Elena and kids!!”

“Candice was wonderful to work with! She was quick to respond to all of our questions and so personable. Our dogs have never spent the night away from home so this was a new experience for all of us. She put our mind at ease by sending lots of updates and reassuring messages. Can’t thank her enough!”

“Carlie and her family could not have been more loving and attentive. Arlo probably wanted to live there forever. She was incredibly kind about a mistake I made on pick up time.”

“Kevin was amazing! He was super responsive, caring and even sent me photos of my lab, Moon, every morning either playing or on a walk with him. When I picked her up, I knew she had been taken care of. I Will definitely use him again in the future!”

“Hester is great. Very good communication. Follows up quickly. Keeps me in the loop during my dogs stay. And I usually get a tired and happy dog after the stay. Very happy I found Hester!”

“Our pup was well taken care of, walks and ball chasing, lots of pictures showed the fun he was having. Kim even sent him home with a Christmas present- a stocking full of toys and treats.”

“Lindsay was great!!! She was punctual, pleasant, and took great care of my two dogs! They played, enjoyed her kids, loved playing with her dog in the huge fenced yard… I couldn’t have chosen more wisely! Thank you Lindsay!”

“Having our pup stay with Katie always gives us such a peace of mind while we are on vacation because we know our dog is in good hands and being given the best care! She is the best!”

“Our first time boarding with Shelby was a great experience! She was flexible, communicative, and followed all care instructions for our dog Loki. Will definitely be calling her up in the future.”

“Dana’s house was a perfect spot for our dog! She has a great fenced in yard and sent multiple photo updates reassuring us that our doggo was having a great time. Her location was a perfect stop on our way to the beach. Would definitely recommend!!!”

About: For 13 years, I lived in New York City, where I pet sat for dogs of all ages—from playful puppies to gentle senior companions. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy. When I met my husband, we welcomed our own puppy, Suki, an Australian Labradoodle, into our family and completely fell in love with her. After getting married, we traded the hustle and bustle of NYC for the quiet waterfront community of Annapolis, Maryland, where I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a veterinary technician (animal nurse). Beginning this fall, I'll be attending CCBC's Veterinary Technology program, where I'll be learning the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to care for animal patients and assist veterinarians. While I'm in school, I'm excited to continue caring for dogs in my community by providing a safe, loving home away from home. Suki also loves making new four-legged friends and enjoys the extra companionship! Beginning August 31, 2026, I will be attending veterinary technology school part-time on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. My husband works from home full-time, so there will always be someone at home to care for and supervise your dog. We have no children—just one friendly Australian Labradoodle. We're happy to accommodate pick-ups, drop-offs, and drop-in visits upon request. We have a compact SUV equipped with a pet-safe, seatbelt-secured car seat for dogs weighing up to 55 lbs. For dogs over 55 lbs, have a plush backseat extender that can hold dogs up to 100 lbs. We live on the first floor of a luxury apartment community with a fenced dog park and a private street-level entrance, so there are no stairs or elevators for your dog to navigate. Our baby-gated, double-doored patio includes a grass potty area for quick bathroom breaks or house training when needed, and our neighborhood offers plenty of safe, grassy areas for regular walks. Our apartment is fully pet-proofed with covered and elevated trash, recycling & laundry, cordoned-off shoe areas, secured wires & cabinets. We walk our own dog three times a day—in the morning, afternoon, and evening—and can tailor exercise to your dog's individual needs. For walking multiple dogs at once, I like to use a heavy duty waist belt for safety. For puppies, we have an indoor playpen, pee pads, and plenty of hands-on experience with puppy care and house training. We also follow each dog's normal feeding routine and avoid introducing new foods, as our own dog, Suki, has a sensitive stomach and we understand the importance of maintaining a consistent diet. We enjoy positive reinforcement training and have taught Suki to sit, heel, and perform a variety of tricks. We primarily provide boarding and daycare in the comfort and safety of our own home, where your dog will receive personalized, attentive care. I also have the tools and experience to provide basic grooming as needed, and we take pride in maintaining an exceptionally clean home with regular paw and eye wipes, daily vacuuming, and a fully equipped pet spa for comfortable baths. The Bath & Basic Grooming add-on includes a shampoo bath, towel dry, blow dry (if tolerated), spray-on conditioner, and a light brush-out. Extensive de-shedding, de-matting, haircuts, nail trims, and ear cleanings are not included. As part of your dog’s daily routine, we’re also happy to brush their teeth at no additional charge (just provide their toothbrush and toothpaste). We brush Suki’s teeth every evening and know how important good dental hygiene is for your dog’s long-term health.
“Our pets felt right at home with Janice and Stalio. They were so welcoming, helpful and accommodating with our boys. They kept us up to date daily with pictures and messages and even helped us out with making them their food because we miscounted the amount we sent. They provided amazing care and we look forward to rebooking with them in the future.”

“Dan stayed with Jillian for two weeks and I felt confident that he was in good hands. She took special care of him during thunderstorms and the 4th of July fireworks. She sent regular updates and pics of Dan. He looked like he was right at home and had a great time playing with the other dogs. We’ll board him there for our next trip.”

“This is the second time Pretzel has stayed with Andy and Lydia, and it was wonderful once again! He had such a good time. Andy was very responsive on the app, and sent daily updates and photos. Highly recommended!”

“Ciarra was amazing!! She did so great with my baby not sure if my pup wanted to come back home with me ? she constantly updated me with everything and I could tell she treated my dog like it was her own. Highly recommend and would go back if I need to go on vacation again!”

“Heather was wonderful! This was my first time using a sitting service and was unsure about how my senior kitty would react to a stranger coming in every day. Heather provided photos, which put me completely at ease, and Sebastian completely warmed up to her. When we returned, he acted like he never even missed us! Heather will definitely be our first choice again!”

“Michelle gets our 5 star rating! Our first meet & greet, I knew she would be a dependable & caring cat sitter. Our “Aura” is very shy with strangers. Michelle looked for her everyday & coaxed her to connect. Some days Aura actually came to her & let her rub her. That was progress. She also took & sent photos everyday as well as a written report. We’ll definitely use Michelle in the future. Thank you Michelle!”

“Alexia is a Great Pet Sitter, she helped Rako out for 9 days, with our return He was Given Food and Water, and there was no mess. I love how she took care of his pads. Great Young Lady to hire.”

“Lee did a fantastic job taking care of our kitty! They were always timely, helped in all of the ways we asked, and most importantly bonded very quickly with our cat who is usually quite skittish with new people. We will definitely look to rebook with Lee for future trips!”

“Owen was so kind, patient and helpful while we were away. He took care of everything that we asked and went above and beyond. Thank you so much! Definitely recommend working with him.”

“Benjamin was very conscientious & dedicated to his task of finding & befriending my scaredy-kitty! He also kindly filled our birdbath & watered our flowers to keep our other denizens (feathered and pollinator) content during our absence. Benjamin caught a glimpse of wRen in flight, however, I’m hoping he’ll return to give both of them additional time to get acquainted.”
“Jamie was phenomenal, lots of peace of mind having her watching our 3mo kitten with updates and photos while we were away for the weekend, allowing us to have a stress free vacation. Will absolutely be requesting Jamie again for all of our future cats needs. Amazing sitter!!!”

“Courtney did an amazing job of taking care of my cat while I was on vacation. Food, water, and litter were good to go the whole time. She even got him to come out of hiding and play around, sending multiple pictures for peace of mind. Overall 5/5, completely hassle free, if I need a pet sitter again she’ll be the first I ask.”

“We truly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Ally! She stayed at our home for 6 days while we were away and took incredible care of our French Bulldog who was recovering from an IVDD flare-up. Frenchies can definitely be little forever babies with lots of quirks and extra needs, but Ally handled everything perfectly! She kept us updated every day with thoughtful messages and pictures, paid close attention to Bella’s routine, made sure she stayed comfortable and kept up with administering her medications. Coming home to a happy, relaxed dog was the greatest peace of mind! I would recommend Ally without hesitation, especially if you have a dog with medical needs or one who needs a little extra love and attention. We’ll absolutely be booking with her again. Thank you so much, Ally! ❤️🐾”

“10/10, I would absolutely book with her again! She made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. Communication was excellent, everything went smoothly, and I felt completely at ease knowing my pets were in great hands. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely recommend her to others.”

“Leah was a huge help to us over Labor Day weekend, dropping in to let out and feed our three dogs. My husband and I are both small business owners, so we jumped at the chance to take a brief overnight trip together and Leah’s help made it possible. She was on time and engaging with the dogs and they were well cared for in our absence. We would definitely recommend Leah!”

About: I have two cats of my own who I adore. I frequently help take care of relatives' and neighbors dogs. My own black lab recently passed and taking care of other dogs is enjoyable and therapeutic. I am a teacher and home by early afternoon . My husband is home all day and helps take care of fur babies in our home while I’m at work. I am free in the evenings and weekends to help care of your fur babies! I have a two-story home with a back yard. Typically, dogs hang out with us during the day in our family room and sleep on dog beds in my bedroom. We live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood and walk dogs during the day on leashes. We have two cats in our home who are used to having dogs in the home.
“Alex communicated throughout our dog’s stay, shared lots of photos, and took him out for walks. Our shy boy normally takes weeks to adjust to a new sitter, but clearly liked being with Alex and her pack.”

“Lucy and Daniel are a great team for the best doggy daycare you could ever want/need for your dog! My dog is extremely needy and they gave him nothing but love. We look forward to next time!”

“Kacie was awesome! She took great care of Queen while I was away at work. Kacie is very easy to communicate with and was extremely accommodating when my schedule was switched up at work last minute. Multiple videos were sent of their daily adventures. Kacie took Queen to the park or on a hike multiple times throughout the day. I 100% recommend Kacie if you need a dog sitter!”

“Maggie had a great time having a calm day with Dana instead of staying home for our 3 year old daughter’s birthday party (with 12 other 3 year olds!) - Dana was really responsive and very responsible and Maggie was so happy!”

“Roxy had a wonderful time playing with Andreas and his dog Luna. She was reluctant to leave in order to come home. The rest of the day she was happy and tired. Andreas was very pleasant to deal with. His fenced-in yard is a big plus.”

“Absolutely wonderful ! Walked my dog twice .it was my first time using rover in a new state and Benjamin was a delight. I will be rebooking when I’m in the area again ! Thanks so much for taking such good care of my pup”

“Sarah and Peter are great! They took care to read my dog’s profile carefully to attend to her needs. They were sure to give her play breaks away from their dog (mine’s older and gets tired faster) and gave her lots of attention!”

“Bailey is terrific! She took great care of my fur baby…taking her for walks and dog park play. She shared many cute pictures and communicated regularly with updates. I highly recommend Bailey!”

“Laura is fantastic! Our pup Luna had a great time and loved playing around in the yard and with her two lovely pups. Laura was great to work with and sent pictures during Luna’s daycare session. Thanks!”

About: I've had dogs my whole life and love playing with and training them. I unfortunately lost Axel, my shepherd/husky mix, last year. But I still have Harley (technically my boyfriend's, but we've lived together 3 years now). Harley is a sweet, 4-year-old, 40 lb spayed female mystery mix who loves to play, especially with other dogs. We go for lots of walks each day and we like playing, learning and practicing tricks. She knows the basics and can also spin, place, go around you, and now we're practicing crawl. I think people could learn a lot from dogs if they paid more attention. I've started dog sitting for neighbors the past few years and always enjoy getting to know new dogs. One of my favorite dogs I've cared for is Goose, a 5-year-old male Chesapeake Bay retriever. I also work managing a restaurant in town and do graphic design part-time from home as well. I work managing a restaurant downtown in Annapolis, and also do freelance graphic design work from home. Except for Mondays, my shifts at the restaurant are all p.m. shifts so I'm home and available most days anytime before 3:00. I'm off from the restaurant on Tuesdays and Fridays. I currently have and have always had dogs so I'm very used to going for multiple walks a day. I live in an apartment downtown in Annapolis. We currently do not have a yard; however, we go for a lot of walks and still spend a lot of time outside at parks and just hanging out in front of the apartment to people (and dog) watch. I have a crate, and my dog is crate-trained, so if/when your pup is over, I'm prepared to separate them if needed.
“Can’t thank Sydney enough for a wonderful day at her home for Aurora! Everything was perfect, with plenty of room to run outside and enjoy the outdoors. Even made a new friend! Can’t wait to be back again soon.”

“Highly recommend Ryan! He took the time to do a meet and greet and really understand my dog’s specific needs. He was very communicative and flexible whenever any changes came up, which I truly appreciated. What stood out most was how he followed my dog’s training routines and even used the exact phrases we’ve been working on. He handled my dog’s reactivity with care and confidence, and it made a huge difference. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands!”

“We absolutely love, Alexia! She is consistently punctual and genuinely engages with our dog during his walks. What really stands out as how well she manages him, especially when he gets reactive around cars and certain dogs. Alexia took the time to do a meet and greet before our first walk, which made all the difference in ensuring everything went smoothly. We've already booked her for multiple walks and will definitely continue using her services. We feel so fortunate to have found her!”

“Allison has been walking my dog for a few weeks now and she’s been great! Great with communication of her schedule and Murphys needs. I would highly recommend Allison as a walker and boarder.”

“Grace was wonderful! She is kind and responsible. She treated Bella as if she was her own dog. She went and stayed with Bella during the storm so Bella wouldn’t be afraid. So glad we found her! We will definitely rebook with Grace!”

About: I have been around animals my entire life! Growing up my family had dogs, chickens, cats. Currently we have 2 beagles and a black cat named Izzy! My other family members began asking me to watch their animals when they went away on trips or to stop by the house if they were stuck at work. This branched to them recommending me to their friends and now here we are! I have been watching the furry loved ones of others for about 4-5 years now and have loved every second of it. I know how scary it can be to leave behind the animals that you consider your children so I am here to make that process a little easier! I’ve taken care of puppies, dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, and horses. All animals deserved to be spoiled and loved by all 💛 I am currently a therapist that works mostly afternoon/evening hours. My daytime availability ranges day to day but getting to create my own schedule allows for flexibility! Owners know their pets best! Any information provided to me about your furry friend will be implemented so that all parties feel safe and well cared for!
“Owen is reliable, kind and trustworthy. He shows up, gives my dog a good walk regardless of the weather, and responds quickly. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs a walker.”

About: Hi! I’m Avery, and I absolutely love spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities. As a personal trainer, I’m active, dependable, and enjoy getting outside, so whether your pup needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or some playtime while you’re away, I’m happy to help. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own, making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and love during every visit. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can feel confident your dog is happy and well cared for. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I currently work part time. I work mostly early mornings and some evenings so I am always around during the day and can be flexible! I will treat each dog like they’re my own! I’ll make sure the house is the way it was when I arrived and the dogs are well taken care of.
“Mae is very reliable, punctual and takes great care of our dog Cannon on their daily walks. She is a great communicator and genuinely loves caring for our dog. I would highly recommend Mae for your dog walking/sitting needs.”

About: Hi everyone! My name is Ryan, and I’m beyond excited to walk/hang with your pets! I take this job very seriously, as I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and have experience walking/sitting for many different pets (of all sizes/breeds/and temperaments). Send me a message with any requests! I work part time and do freelance so I have a lot of availability to take care of your pet’s needs, whether that be some extra attention, playtime, walks, drop-ins etc. Just shoot me a message and I can more than likely make myself available for whatever your needs may be! I am very respectful when entering clients homes to take care of their pets. I myself have grown up with dogs and cats, and completely understand all boundaries pet parents may have - whether they’re allowed on the furniture, outside, crate-time etc. The rules and routine you've established with your pets is what's most important! Whether you have a shy cat that just needs to be fed, or a rambunctious dog that needs to get its energy out, I've got you covered!
About: I've taken care of neighborhood cats/dogs for over 10 years. I grew up taking care of both cats and dogs in my own home as well. I am comfortable walking, feeding, and cleaning up after pets. I have also volunteered at various animal shelters throughout the years. I currently have a flexible schedule during the summer months and am available most weekends and weekdays. I work on Thursdays and Fridays, but I am available to care for your pet in the evenings on these particular days. I would love to connect with you to find a schedule that works best for you and your pet! I have experience walking, feeding, crating, and cleaning up after pets in the home. I'm not currently looking to house pets in my own home!
About: I've lived with dogs just about my entire life, and I've assisted in their care from the beginning to end of their lives. I currently live with one dog in the house, and I care for him alone on weekdays, including administering medications when needed. I also have experience taking care of other types of animals - I am versatile and flexible. I care for my own pet during the weekdays, but for most of the week he uses a daycare service, leaving me free to spend longer amounts of time elsewhere. He is also older and okay with being left in the house for a few hours even when I'm the only one watching him. I'm more than comfortable watching the house as well as the pets, and I will make sure that any house rules (no paws on the counter, etc) are upheld. As long as I'm acquainted with your house facilities, I will leave the place as neat as when I arrived, if not a little cleaner. :)
“Taylor was awesome! My dog doesn’t alway do well with strangers (she’s very shy and timid), but she warmed right up to Taylor. I would definitely recommend her as someone to take excellent care of your fur-baby.”

“I was so nervous boarding our two dogs with a Rover sitter vs a facility, but both Amy and her husband took SUCH good care of our babies. I had a family emergency and had to leave them for five days. They went on tons of walks, got ample amounts of snuggles, and I was updated with pictures every step of the way. I could focus on family knowing they were in excellent hands, and we will certainly be using them again!”

“We had a wonderful experience boarding our pup in Carla's home! Our dog was so well cared for, and Carla sent daily updates with pictures and videos. Her dog was incredibly sweet and got along great with ours. She did a great job balancing exercise with being mindful of our older dog's past surgeries and individual needs. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her!”

“Brigid took care of my senior girl, Chloe, for 4 nights. She was open to a last minute meet and greet. She accommodated Chloe’s senior needs, sent updates, and gave a nice verbal summary at how Chloe’s time went and included things she will miss about her. Chloe seemed content when I arrived, often going over to Brigid several times while we packed up all of her things into the car. Being a dog sitter myself, I found comfort in that, considering they were strangers just days before. I would recommend Brigid!”

“Benjamin is an excellent dog sitter! We could really tell he cared about our dog Chewy. He has a lovely home in a nice quiet neighborhood with plenty of outdoors space for our dogs. Chewy looked really happy during his stay and didn’t give us any attitude after his pickup.”
