As he spent the majority of his life as a puppy mill papa, Remi can be challenging. As a teacher and a mom, Danielle had the skills and patience to work with him. She kept us updated throughout the weekend and it was easy to see the Remi was happy and content. I’m fairly certain Remi didn’t want to come home !! We couldn’t be happier to have found someone to care for our dog like one of her own! Next time we need somebody to care for our pup, she will absolutely be our first call!”

About: I have cared for cats and dogs for years. I rescued one cat to later find out she had seizures. She got proper treatment, love and attention, and lived to be fifteen. I am retired and available days, evenings, weekends, and most holidays to meet your pets needs and your schedule to keep on your pets routine. I have a medium size backyard with shade trees and room to play. During bad weather I use the basement for play time and activities.

I am well trained in giving oral medications as I had a fur baby that had congestive heart failure for 4 years whom also was a senior dog when he passed at 18 years old. I have taken care of other people’s dogs and cats. Where they are treated like my babies while here as well and get spoiled and lots of attention. I work from home and care for my grandmother so I will home with them at all times. I can administrate pills/medicine if needed. I am able to take the dogs out whenever it is needed. My babies are always by my side like shadows. I have a fenced in yard.My dogs love to play with friends dogs. The more the merrier!

About: This young adult is filled with energy, patience and love! I have owned a dog since I was a child and tried to open a mini petting rescue zoo in my moms barn . It worked until I had to actually adult and pay my own bills . I love giving one in one attention and healthy treats . My availability is flexible due to working around my human patients . I value bedside mannerisms and do believe they don’t just apply to two legged friends. I have been known for my cautious and preventative decision making skills ! My temperament is easy going but firm because if not, all paws will break loose! Seriously , I would have 100 dogs at home if possible. I am currently working part time and from home . “I think Lois was my best Christmas gift! We had a big family trip planned over the holiday and I hated the thought of my dog locked in a kennel. I just happened to check the Rover site for the first time and saw that Lois was willing to take in a “guest” for Christmas. We set up a meet and greet because Lois also has a dog. I trusted her knowledge of dog behavior and she was confident the two dogs would get along. They were like brothers! During the stay, she spoiled Milo with extra attention, special treats and toys, long walks, and he got to be part of the family on Christmas Day. She sent me photos and was a great communicator. I would highly recommend Lois - she does an amazing job and I look forward to taking Milo back.”
