About: I have taken care of pets for most of my life, (dogs and cats).. Our last dog lived to be almost 17 due to great care and love. I welcome any pets. i will care for them as they are mine. I am a retired nurse practitioner and home most hours of each day. We live in a dog walking community and close to parks ideal for long walks. Loch Raven Reservoir is close to our home with many great trails. I have a fenced yard with a pool. I would not leave any dog alone in the yard, our neighborhood is great for walking. I will only take pets friendly to children.

He made sure the plan for Lem was super clear beforehand, which I especially appreciated since the schedule I gave him to complement my friend's visit schedule was not perfectly regular, and he didn't miss a visit! He also had to deal with a terrible cold spell, but when he couldn't walk Lemon for more than 5 minutes at a time (about all she can tolerate when it's that cold), he took her for two short walks to make sure she did all her business and then played ball with her in the house. We came home to a dog who, while happy to see us, was clearly doing just fine without us, which is all I can ask for :)”

About: I am an enthusiastic and active animal lover with over 20 years experience. We live across from the Loch Raven reservoir within walking distance of many hiking trails. We enjoy playing with our pets in our fenced in backyard as well as taking nature hikes on the many trails across from us. Growing up, we had a dog and two cats. Currently, I delight in taking care of our 10 year old cat and 3 year old dog! I love being active with animals and walking them. Our house and yard are very pet friendly! I also am comfortable with admin of needed meds and grooming. The pets who stay with us are welcomed as part of the family. For boarding, we can accommodate one dog per night. We do not board cats. We have a fenced in backyard with about an acre of land. We have a 3 year old dog who is friendly. We have a shy 10 year old cat who will hide from other animals that she doesn’t know. We have hens, but they are fenced in completely.

“No sure where to begin, but from the moment I reached out to Jill & Chad, I appreciated how they communicated. We set up a meet & greet before the booking so my Jax could meet the family. From that moment I knew he would be okay, he had never been away from us for 6 days, so I was so nervous. Let’s just say Jax will be on the recurring schedule ( maybe he’ll get frequent flyer mileage) lol. Jill had an emergency and didn’t cancel, Chad and the boys didn’t miss a beat. They were attentive, sent pics, videos, and updated twice a day, I appreciated that so much. I felt so comfortable and was able to enjoy vacation without STRESS! I give them 5 STARS! About: Hello! I am a veterinary technician of 8 years and pet owner of 20+ years who is highly experienced in animal care and petsitting. As a cat, horse, and previous dog owner myself I understand that our pets are our family! I look forward to meeting your fur baby! I work part time hours and am off weekends and holidays. I’m happy to spend my free time playing, walking, and spending time with your pet! While at work crates, gates, or free roam can be used depending on your pets needs and comfort. Pets will be monitored through pet cams during working hours. While in my home pets can have free roam or access to a crate depending on their needs and comfort. For walks I utilize harnesses and if needed can add a back up slip lead if owner feels more comfortable to ensure safety. Pets will always have access to fresh water and toys and will be well loved while in my care!
