“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”
“Wow where do I begin! This was my first time utilizing Rover for boarding. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t totally skeptical and apprehensive to the idea of leaving my fur babies with a total stranger. I found Jill on here and pursued her initially because of her being conveniently located not too far from home but after our meet and greet I immediately felt comfortable in my choice. She has the most upbeat personality and is super welcoming. She was sure to take notes on feeding instructions and and specifics she may need to know. My boys appeared comfortable and happy in all of the update pictures (which we loved!) she sent while they stayed with her. She goes above and beyond with communicating and is more than accommodating! Our arrival back home had a slight delay and she opened her house to my hounds for an extra night which we are SO thankful for! I can’t say enough good things about this woman- I feel so fortunate and lucky to have taken the leap to trust her with my babies. Once you are a repeat client, I am then more comfortable staying for longer periods of time if needed. Pets will stay on routine by following whatever schedule the owner has set up. If it means getting up early to take a walk, that's what will happen. If I means getting out later in the afternoon for a walk, tha will be fine too. Pet care fits into my routine by me having a very opened schedule. I just moved to Easton, MD, so right now I'm looking to build a new client base here. While watching your pets in your home, I will always make sure I keep a watchful eye over them. I typically like to stay in an area that is open enough where I can see everything, but closed enough where the animal won't be out of site.
“Words can not even describe how amazing Jill has been when watching our Nella. We came to Ocean City on vacation and quickly realized that Nella was a little stressed with all the people around and we didn’t feel right leaving her alone when we went out. We soon found Jill who put our minds at ease and responded to our request almost instantly. She has been extremely accommodating with our schedule and had truly saved our vacation. We were able to enjoy ourselves knowing Nella was not only having a blast but was in great hands. We were sent photos and videos of Nella through out the day which really makes a difference. About: I have had family dogs most of my life, all were rescues. Each had their own challenges. I’m observant and will take attentive care of your pet. I am starting my masters program in the fall and have a lot of free time during the day. Usually available throughout the day including evenings. Having my own supplies I am always prepared to scoop up some poop. I will use the entire 30 minutes to allow your dog adequate time to use the restroom. During that 30 minutes we're going to burn some energy with intense playtime. This will allow your dog stimulation helping your dog to calm down without having too much pent up energy while you're away. When it comes to Drop-In Visits it is similar to a walk but here's how they differ. With a visit I will be able to refill your pets water or food dish while you're away. If you have cats I can ensure their needs are taken care of such as cleaning litter boxes. Finally, I can take care of some simple household tasks. (I.E. Putting trash out and up to the curb) Furthermore, I am willing to provide training. Depending on your preference I can do clicker, treat, or a combination of both trainings. I can teach your dog fundamental commands such as sit, leave it, kennel up, and come. Thank you for your time. About: I’ve had various pets my entire life (mainly cats) and have always loved caring for all animals. I grew up around families with dogs, so I’m extremely comfortable caring for dogs as well and have pet-sat many dogs over the years. At one point, I had 12 cats, so I’m able to care for multiple pets and keep up with their individual needs. I’ve also cared for two senior cats and understand the extra patience and attention older pets may need. I’ve rescued and cared for kittens, including helping them feel safe and comfortable in a new environment. I also have experience caring for a cat who needed medication and experienced seizures, which taught me the importance of following care instructions carefully, paying close attention to changes in behavior, and staying calm when a pet needs extra care. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I currently work from home, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for and keep an eye on your pet. I’m usually available throughout the day for walks and other services. If my availability ever changes, I’ll make sure to communicate that ahead of time. I currently offer dog walking and house sitting services. When house sitting, I’ll make sure your pet stays comfortable, safe, and cared for in their own home. I’ll follow your instructions closely and keep you updated while you’re away. I will also treat your property as if it were my own!

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t totally skeptical and apprehensive to the idea of leaving my fur babies with a total stranger. I found Jill on here and pursued her initially because of her being conveniently located not too far from home but after our meet and greet I immediately felt comfortable in my choice. She has the most upbeat personality and is super welcoming. She was sure to take notes on feeding instructions and and specifics she may need to know. I have attended many dog training classes with my family dog, and understand that every dog has its own personality and needs. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding schedules and administering simple medications, and play time. As a pet sitter I am dependable, responsible, and I pay attention to detail. I will treat your dog as if they are my own. I am currently a college student at Salisbury University so I have one to two classes in the morning and am free throughout the day to go for good walks, play time, and am available to do drop in visits. I also live in a house with a large fenced yard and I offer dog boarding. I provide safe, reliable dog care. I have reliable transportation and lots of available time during to the day to either come let your dog out for a good walk, or I also offer dog boarding at my own home that has no other pets and has a large fenced yard.
