“Daniela kept me well updated daily with photos and updates on my senior dog! He got plenty of outdoor time in spite of the blizzard and kept him warm during power outage. Thank you for taking such good care of my baby!!”

“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

“Daniel was an amazing caregiver for Benny. He constantly sent me photos and updates + he was really flexible when my flight got delayed. I would recommend him to anyone in the area looking for a temporary home for your pet while you’re away.”

“Lacey was amazing with my fur babies, even my 55lbs of crazy lol. They both came home happy and calmer than I even expected, she needs to tell me her secret to calm my crazy girl lol. I will only be using Lacey for my fur babies care in the future!!”

“Our pup stayed with Anmei for week and came home happy, healthy and relaxed. This was the first time we had ever left her that long but Anmei took such great care of her that we do not have any reservations about doing so again. Thank you, Anmei, for being such a great Bee keeper! ♥️”

“I found Kelly in a moment of desperation when I needed a last minute sitter for my fur baby. Not only was she quick to respond but also came to meet my recent rescue before hand. I had never used a River sitter before and after meeting her in person and learning about her vet tech background I was confident she would take great care of my girl. She sent me daily pictures and updates and took excellent care of Zoya for me while I was away. I will 100% be booking her again!”

“Sylvia was an incredible sitter! The moment my husband and I met her we knew she’d be great. She has such a lovely personality and you can tell how much she cares about animals. She made sure to keep us updated on how Trigger was doing and sending pictures, he looked so happy in all of them. When we picked him up, he was just happiest old pup. I most definitely recommend Sylvia to anyone that needs a sitter!”

“Bullet loves staying with brenda. She has a beautiful big backyard for him to run around in and he loves the company she is able to provide while watching him. I wouldn't even consider anyone else if brenda is available!”

“Samantha R. took amazing care of my new adopted dog Frankie this last weekend!! He came home looking so relaxed and happy which really put my mind at ease since he is still so new to me. Samantha sent pictures of him having fun with her dogs which helped me stay relaxed while I was away. I will definitely use her again and recommend her highly!!”

“Carlie and her husband were an excellent pet sitters for our Jack Russell dog. They were very caring, reliable and accommodating to our schedule. We traveled from New York and be were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about our pet because she was in good hands.”

“Megan W and her family were fantastic! Not only was she a delight to communicate with, my dog clearly loved her and her home, The pictures she sent of my furbaby showed him undeniably smiling ear to ear. She is a little bit off the beaten path which is exactly why I chose her as we were on our way to Rehoboth. It was an easy and short detour to drop our little buddy off on our way. Her place has plenty of shade, fencing, and other pups for my dog to enjoy. I will definitely be rebooking with Megan W in the future!”

“Dear Jill Thank you for taking care of our Twix. Honestly, we don’t like to bore him but he did not like the hotel. I was so amazed at how he became comfortable with you, your home , and the other furry friends. He has always been so shy but at your home he made many friends, especially with Tru. We will definitely trust you with our Twix again. Thank you ???”

“Jacqueline and her son took great care of our dog Ace. He had so much fun and was wore out last night after we picked him up. Jacqueline was quick to respond and kept us updated all weekend with pics of Ace having fun with his buddy Nutella. Would highly recommend Jacqueline!”

“Anmei is amazing with my puppy, as a first time dog mom I completely trust her with him. She really cares for him as if he was her own and I couldn’t ask for anything more. He loves her too you will not be disappointed booking with Anmei.”

“Lauren, Was a true gem. She kept me posted on Marigold's activities and sent me screenshots each day. I cant thank her enough for watching my sweet girl. I will definitely use Lauren again when I go away.”

“Jackie has been absolutely wonderful to work with. She replies instantly and keeps me updated. I am new to pet ownership and having someone look after them while I have to travel for work. She has been amazing every step of the way.”

“Hope was great! She accepted the job last minute and won over our normally wary cat. We’re grateful for her level of communication and trustworthiness. Definitely recommend and would love to hire again next time we go away. Thanks!”

“Dawn was an excellent sitter. It was our first time using her services. She took time with our pet so they could get used to her and warm up to her. I think by the end of the booking our pet was doing well with Dawn. I will be retaining her services again the next time we go out of town.”

“Kate was great! Very responsive and took great care of our diabetic cat. This was the first time we had left him since getting diagnosed and the communication from Kate gave me peace of mind that he had everything he needed, as well as our other very nervous with strangers cat.”

“Alex was great! She took great care of our dog, and was generous with her time and communication which was appreciated because we were nervous leaving the pup for the first time since moving to the area. Our dog is a cuddler who clearly adopted Alex happily into the pack. Would definitely recommend!”

“Good communication and updates. Did not try and force my more shy cats to interact with him and waited until he gained their trust. Cats had plenty of food and water when I arrived home 18 hours after his last visit, which I appreciated since I knew they didn't go hungry or thirsty. I will be using him again in July and am sure my kitties will enjoy his company again.”

About: ❗️❗️🙂 CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS🙂❗️❗️ I've been working for Rover since 2017, and I can truly say that I adore this job! I mainly specialize in working with dogs and cats, however I am willing to work with different kinds of animals if needed. I'm also a Washington DC native, who has recently moved to Salisbury, Maryland 💛🖤❤️🤍 ⚠️❗️❗️UPDATE AS OF APRIL 2024❗️❗️⚠️: If you are new client and need someone for a extended stay Home Sitting, the longest I will be willing to stay is 3 to 5 days. Once you are a repeat client, I am then more comfortable staying for longer periods of time if needed. Pets will stay on routine by following whatever schedule the owner has set up. If it means getting up early to take a walk, that's what will happen. If I means getting out later in the afternoon for a walk, tha will be fine too. Pet care fits into my routine by me having a very opened schedule. I just moved to Easton, MD, so right now I'm looking to build a new client base here. While watching your pets in your home, I will always make sure I keep a watchful eye over them. I typically like to stay in an area that is open enough where I can see everything, but closed enough where the animal won't be out of site.

“Daniela took great care of Jacob. She was always very communicative, responsive, and was a gracious host to our pup. We appreciated the many pictures and great updates. Thanks!”

“Absolutely wonderful! Daniel, and his wife were the absolute best w/ our baby. They were sweet and patient with her, and Azura was right at home with them. I highly recommend them! Many thanks to them for being such great hoomans! :-)”

Such at great personality. Ended up needing less time than i booked for and she was very accommodating. All around wonderful experience”

About: **We are unfortunately unable to host unfixed dogs in our home for boarding/doggy daycare.** I have grown up with dogs and cats and have spent many years caring for them throughout my life. I currently have a senior dog I adopted from a local shelter and two younger dogs I’ve helped raise since they were puppies. Over the years I’ve learned how different each stage of life can be, from potty training puppies to supporting the slower pace of senior dogs. I’ve also cared for family pets while their owners were out of town, including both dogs and cats. I’m comfortable with dogs of all energy levels. Some love to play and stay active, others just want to relax and be near someone. I’m happy with both. I also have experience with raw feeding routines and daily care. My main focus is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I have a flexible schedule as a stay at home mom which allows me to give consistent attention throughout the day. I homeschool my children but I’m still able to fully care for the pets in my home and keep up with walks, drop ins, and boarding. My days are structured in a way that allows me to adjust as needed so each pet gets timely and attentive care. Pets in my care can enjoy walks in your yard or around your neighborhood depending on what they are comfortable with. We also have a spacious yard that gives dogs plenty of room to move around and stretch their legs. Our home is calm and family oriented. Pets are always supervised and included in daily life. I make sure they feel comfortable, settled, and part of the environment while they are here.
About: I've had dogs all my life and I would be an amazing candidate for your pet. Please consider me to be a part of their life! We have a spaniel of Our Own and her daily routine is lots of play in the morning lots of walks and lots of love and she is a part of our family I'm looking to take your dogs for walks and playing with them. We have a big back yard and lots of toys to play with.
“Samantha is absolutely wonderful!!! She watched our dog at her home for an entire day and he was able to play in her nicely fenced yard. He was able to play with her dogs, which he does not get to do as we live in an HOA. I plan on using Samantha in the future when we need someone to care for our dog. I highly recommend her!!!”

About: Hello! My name is Kayla and I am a dedicated animal lover. I have an intense passion for animals that stems from being surround by them at a young age. In my free time I like to learn details about different dog breeds such as the best environment for them, common health issues, grooming needs, and training methods. This hobby came in handy when I decided to pursue an education to become a veterinary technician. Here's what I offer when it comes to dog walking. Having my own supplies I am always prepared to scoop up some poop. I will use the entire 30 minutes to allow your dog adequate time to use the restroom. During that 30 minutes we're going to burn some energy with intense playtime. This will allow your dog stimulation helping your dog to calm down without having too much pent up energy while you're away. When it comes to Drop-In Visits it is similar to a walk but here's how they differ. With a visit I will be able to refill your pets water or food dish while you're away. If you have cats I can ensure their needs are taken care of such as cleaning litter boxes. Finally, I can take care of some simple household tasks. (I.E. Putting trash out and up to the curb) Furthermore, I am willing to provide training. Depending on your preference I can do clicker, treat, or a combination of both trainings. I can teach your dog fundamental commands such as sit, leave it, kennel up, and come. Thank you for your time. I look forward to scheduling our meet and greet. 😁 I am available after 3pm and have open availability Friday and Saturday. Need a same-day visit? Feel free to send a request and I'll see what I can do for you. Your pet will be in safe hands. I will follow your instructions on how you want the pet handled. Such as if you want your pet outside for most of the visit then I will do so.

We just bought a 2nd home on the island and I’ll be using Anna every day we are here:)”
“Marcus was the absolute best with our dog! More than a dog walker, I can say Marcus was his pal!! Obe who is not a jumper/barker/howler, would go crazy when seeing Marcus pull up in his car! And always came back smiling and exhausted. Marcus was also prompt and flexible. He sent us pictures of their adventures every time. Hands down the best exercise friend for our wild guy Obe!”

My experience includes caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior pets, so I understand everything from basic training and routines to giving extra patience and comfort to older animals. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering medications if needed, and keeping pets active, safe, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure owners feel at ease with regular updates and check-ins. I plan my day around feeding times, walks, playtime, and check-ins to make sure pets aren’t left alone for long. I’m flexible during the week and weekends, which allows me to stick closely to your pet’s normal schedule and give them the time, supervision, and care they need. I create a safe, calm environment by following each pet’s routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I have a fenced yard for secure outdoor time and always supervise pets. In your home, I respect your space while keeping your pet in their normal routine. I also provide updates and can handle special needs like medications.

“Robert was fantastic with Gracie. He sent pics and updates several times a day. She came home exhausted so I know she was played with A LOT while she was with him. He truly loves dogs, I highly recommend him!”

“We were first time Rover users and were very nervous. Beth and Ron sent updates and lots of pics, of both leisure time and play time (glad Sophie Belle had their two dogs as friends for the week). Sophie Belle was kept cool and comfortable, like a princess, during the heat wave, too! Thank you, Beth and Ron!”

“Maggie was in excellent hands with Jodi. I received daily updates and pics. Communication with Jodi was clear and immediate. She was also very friendly and personable. I would definitely utilize Jodi's services again in the future.”

“Our dogs can be challenging and this was the first time they've ever been boarded. McCray did a great job taking care of them and giving them tons of attention...all during the holidays, which is not easy.”

“Cory was friendly and knew a lot about puppies. We were very comfortable leaving our six month old Finnegan with him. He has a big yard and a fenced in deck. I would bring Finnegan the next time I’m in the area.”
