This was my first time using rover and it ended up being way a way better experience than I could have ever imagined. Daniel and his wife are truly wonderful people🙏🏻🫶🏻I went on a cruise to Mexico 🌎🚢🌊..and had to leave my rescue pitbull pumpkin in safe hands..and I truly couldn't have found anyone better .🙏🏻🫶🏻 They gave "pumpkin" so much love and fun, I think she thought she was on vacation as well🥹🙏🏻 They treated pumpkin like she was family and when pumpkin had some health issues when I was gone they made sure that she was getting the best care. “Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

About: I have been house sitting animals for about a year now in my home town. I have house sat all different size dogs and cats and have even done week long house sitting for the animals. I just recently moved to college and stopped dog sitting but I am ready to continue doing what I love! I am currently a full time college student at Salisbury University. I am done my classes everyday after 12pm and am available anytime on the weekends. I can't wait to spend quality time with your fur babies. I mainly specialize in working with dogs and cats, however I am willing to work with different kinds of animals if needed. I'm also a Washington DC native, who has recently moved to Salisbury, Maryland 💛🖤❤️🤍 ⚠️❗️❗️UPDATE AS OF APRIL 2024❗️❗️⚠️: If you are new client and need someone for a extended stay Home Sitting, the longest I will be willing to stay is 3 to 5 days. Once you are a repeat client, I am then more comfortable staying for longer periods of time if needed. Pets will stay on routine by following whatever schedule the owner has set up. If it means getting up early to take a walk, that's what will happen. If I means getting out later in the afternoon for a walk, tha will be fine too. Pet care fits into my routine by me having a very opened schedule. I just moved to Easton, MD, so right now I'm looking to build a new client base here. While watching your pets in your home, I will always make sure I keep a watchful eye over them. I typically like to stay in an area that is open enough where I can see everything, but closed enough where the animal won't be out of site.

I have also watched dogs with high medical needs such as epilepsy and am comfortable giving medications. I have experience with everything from drop-in visits to multiple-month stays! This hobby came in handy when I decided to pursue an education to become a veterinary technician. Here's what I offer when it comes to dog walking. Having my own supplies I am always prepared to scoop up some poop. I will use the entire 30 minutes to allow your dog adequate time to use the restroom. During that 30 minutes we're going to burn some energy with intense playtime. This will allow your dog stimulation helping your dog to calm down without having too much pent up energy while you're away. When it comes to Drop-In Visits it is similar to a walk but here's how they differ. With a visit I will be able to refill your pets water or food dish while you're away. If you have cats I can ensure their needs are taken care of such as cleaning litter boxes. Finally, I can take care of some simple household tasks. (I.E. Putting trash out and up to the curb) Furthermore, I am willing to provide training. Depending on your preference I can do clicker, treat, or a combination of both trainings. I can teach your dog fundamental commands such as sit, leave it, kennel up, and come. Thank you for your time. About: I have been house sitting animals for about a year now in my home town. I have house sat all different size dogs and cats and have even done week long house sitting for the animals. I just recently moved to college and stopped dog sitting but I am ready to continue doing what I love! I am currently a full time college student at Salisbury University. I am done my classes everyday after 12pm and am available anytime on the weekends. I can't wait to spend quality time with your fur babies.
