“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

About: I’ve been taking care of a wide variety of pets since I was physically able to. I grew up in a household where taking care of animals was part of our everyday lives. My mom has worked in the animal field all her life and I followed in her footsteps until I had my first son 3 years ago and am now a stay at home mom. I started as a receptionist at my local animal hospital, moved on to a technician, and spent 4 years as a kennel supervisor until I moved on to emergency animal care. I understand whole heartedly that animals are more than just pets, they are family and will be treated as such when they are in my care.
