“WE WERE TURNED AWAY BY SOOOO MANY SITTERS... I checked the schedule of every sitter before making contact to ensure that they were available. I made contact with at least 10 sitters and got "I'm out of town" or no response at all. The issue was my dog was asked not to return to a commercial kennel "Muddy Paws." There was no violence or aggressive behavior, just anxiety shown by barking, howling, tipping food, and water. But all of this is in Ash's bio, and finally, someone was real enough to tell me. "After reading your dogs bio, I don't feel comfortable with him." So I gave up and started to cancel a much needed family vacation. Then I got a small sign and tried Lindsay. She was the only one who asked, "What happened at Muddy Paws?". From there, we exchanged texts, and she asked if we could have a meet and greet that day. We had a wonderful meet and greet, and she took Ash for our vacation. And from there, we were thoroughly impressed. We got pictures, videos, and text messages. My wife actually got a little jealous due to how comfortable Ash looked and smiled in every picture. Plus, he found a new best friend in her dog, Remi. Now, if you are curious to know how Ash did, I highly recommend you ask Lindsay. She even went as far as to write something the other sitters could read that would educate them on Ash's behavior. And we appreciate that so much. BUT AS LONG AS LINDSAY IS A SITTER, ASH DOES NOT HAVE ANY OTHER SITTERS. THANKS YOU, Lindsay, from the entire Jones family.”

About: I use to work for a boarding kennel when I was younger, but since my young teens I have been dog/cat/house sitting. I love animals I will be there new best friend. You will not regret if you choose me to watch your loved one, they will be well taken care of, well loved and spoiled! No request is to much, I have watched all different kinds of animals from dogs, cats, birds, hedgehogs, bunnies you name it I have probably watched them. I work at prince Frederick Safeway. I normally work 4-1pm, 5 days a week. My schedule does change from time to time due to what is going on but I will communicate my schedule prior to watching your babies. Some days are easier than others… Monday, Wednesday and Fridays I’m not normally available until 3pm. Tuesday and Thursdays I’m available anytime after 1pm. This could change just ask and we will work something out! I have a huge fenced in back yard! Lots of room to run and play! I will crate your animal if it is needed, just please bring your crate with you. If not crated during the day I keep all doors shut so they can’t get into anything they aren’t supposed to. I do also have indoor camera to keep an eye on them while I’m away at work. Due to apartment rules I am not allowed to have pit pulls at my apartment, I love the breed! I just have to make sure I am following my landlord rules, I would have to come to you!

About: I've helped raise puppies. I've had a dog of my own my whole life. Friends leave their pups with me while they go away, or when they need help potty or crate training. I cannot currently watch pets in my home but I can care for your pet in the comfort of your home. I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate taking care of your pet(s) as needed around my own day to day responsibilities. I will take care of your pet as you regularly do. Are they crated while you're away? They'll be crated if I'm not there. Or do they only feel safe in certain rooms or need a "safety toy"? I have a full time job , I work four ten hour shifts I am off every Thursday and every weekend and after work hours too if needed I am willing to do morning and evening shifts on the days I work I have a open yard , If your dog needs to be crated that’s fine my dog sleeps on the couch and gets in beds
About: I love animals with all my heart. I’ve never met a pet who hasn’t loved me. I agree with the statement that animals are very energy in tune and I’d like to think so am I! I’ve done lots of dog sitting and cat sitting jobs for people close to me and they’re satisfied with how I did, so you 100% will be too. Your pet is in responsible, attentive hands. I have a free schedule and I’m in desperate need of a side hustle. I have too much free time and I think this would be the perfect thing to book my schedule with, especially because of how much I love being outside and animals. I’m very mindful of the safety even of my own animals so your pet is in the best of hands. Although my yard is not fenced, I take my dog out for walks leashed and for the few times she has escaped, I’m not near any major roads for there to be any accidents or for her to be in harm’s way. I am very vigilant and I would never put your animals or my own at risk because pets are apart of the family and I’d never let anything happen to a family member, even yours.

“Leo had an amazing time with Melissa and her family. She had her dogs which kept him busy and happy as he loves to play with others and he got plenty of cuddles. We did a meet and greet with the pups a week before the boarding to ensure wveryone got along well and i could already tell leo was in great hands and Melissa even assured me there would always be someone there just in case. The pictures Melissa sent as we were gone made me happy to see that he was getting spoiled and was having great naps and playtime. She updated me daily and ensured Leo was fed exactly what was needed and we would definitely love to have Leo come "sleepover" again.”
“WE WERE TURNED AWAY BY SOOOO MANY SITTERS... I checked the schedule of every sitter before making contact to ensure that they were available. I made contact with at least 10 sitters and got "I'm out of town" or no response at all. The issue was my dog was asked not to return to a commercial kennel "Muddy Paws." There was no violence or aggressive behavior, just anxiety shown by barking, howling, tipping food, and water. But all of this is in Ash's bio, and finally, someone was real enough to tell me. "After reading your dogs bio, I don't feel comfortable with him." So I gave up and started to cancel a much needed family vacation. Then I got a small sign and tried Lindsay. She was the only one who asked, "What happened at Muddy Paws?". From there, we exchanged texts, and she asked if we could have a meet and greet that day. We had a wonderful meet and greet, and she took Ash for our vacation. And from there, we were thoroughly impressed. We got pictures, videos, and text messages. My wife actually got a little jealous due to how comfortable Ash looked and smiled in every picture. Plus, he found a new best friend in her dog, Remi. Now, if you are curious to know how Ash did, I highly recommend you ask Lindsay. She even went as far as to write something the other sitters could read that would educate them on Ash's behavior. And we appreciate that so much. BUT AS LONG AS LINDSAY IS A SITTER, ASH DOES NOT HAVE ANY OTHER SITTERS. THANKS YOU, Lindsay, from the entire Jones family.”

“When I picked up Jackson, I was not sure he wanted to leave his vacation with Kathryn and her wonderful family! Sure he was excited to see us, but, then he laid down next to Kathryn as if he was feeling pretty comfortable at her home! She sent photos and write ups daily and this made me feel so much better about leaving him in her care. It was like he knew the family forever! This was the first time we went away without him in 8 years so I was a bit anxious about leaving. I would have no problems leaving him again if I have another opportunity to do so. I highly recommend Kathryn and I know he was very happy being there and well cared for. He enjoyed his daily walks and never missed a meal and perhaps, Me!!!! “Found Melonie on Rover and first met her back in January for a meet and greet before a trip I had been planning. That trip ended up not happening, so this was actually our first time using her services. The original meet-up went so well. My dog Sky isn't very socialized and tends to be anxious around new people and places, so how quickly she took to Melonie was a great sign. This was also the first time we'd left Sky with anyone outside of family, so that mattered a lot to us. Since some time had passed, Melonie graciously offered to do another meet and greet before this booking. Sky warmed up to her right away again. This time I brought my daughter along, and she felt just as confident in Melonie as I did. We both knew Sky was in good hands. Melonie has such a calm, pleasant presence, and it clearly puts Sky at ease. She sent us daily updates with pictures throughout the stay, and Sky looked happy and relaxed in every one. We'll absolutely be booking with Melonie again in the future!”

“Brian was great. He sent pictures a couple times a day. Tank seemed relaxed throughout his time with Brian and the home was great and easily supported my 120 lbs Berner. Tank seemed to enjoy the company as Brian works from home and pictures indicated that he would hang out in the office. Bob, Brian's dog was relatively indifferent to Tank during the meet and greet. Brian reported no problems between to the 2 of them, and I witnessed no negative interaction. Tank while happy we were back, exhibited no signs of stress from his stay. I am so glad to have a place to leave him and know he will be well taken care of.”

Her home was clean and well organized, and her sweet family was icing on the cake. The love of this family shined through in everything from their warm welcome at the meet and greet to the consistent updates and pics sent throughout the stay.
