About: I’ve been dog walking and sitting for neighbors since I was 12 years old. I’ve dog sat multiple types of dogs. I’ve done dog walking, check-in & potty break visits, and I’ve stayed at a clients home for long periods of time (5+ days) to be with their pups. I’ve also been tasked with administering insulin shots to dogs before. And I have a lot of experience with dogs that have anxiety, whether with new people, thunderstorms, or anything else, as I have one myself and a long remaining client of mine does as well. I’ve always loved dogs, having grown up having 2 smaller dogs myself. I am hoping to do pet sitting as a new permanent business, so I will have nothing but time to look after your pets! I will schedule out days and time periods based on client necessity and to provide the optimal care for your pets. Because I have two dogs myself, one of which has severe people and other animal anxiety, which for the safety of your pets and mine means I am unable to bring any pets into my home as of current. However, I’ve stayed at the homes of clients before to be with their pups while they’re away. I feed them every morning and night or make sure the food bowl is full depending on how the client feeds their dogs. I give them any medicine or joint tablets that they need to be well. I let them out multiple times a day whenever they need it. And I try to play with and pet them as much as I can while I’m there so they don’t miss their humans too much. I will even take them on a walk if allowed.

During this time, I would visit at minimum, three times a day to make sure the cat had food and water, had some playtime, and to clean and freshen the litter box. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, currently I only have one dog for the first time. I will treat your dog like a part of the family. Please let me know if there’s any special treatment that needs done. I do have a toddler home with me as well so I request that the dog is child friendly! I work from home so your dog will get potty breaks whenever they need it. I have a fully fenced in yard for your pup to run around and play. Your dog will be allowed on couches/beds, wherever they are comfortable. I have dog beds and have baby gates set up so they can have areas of peace if they need. I do have a toddler at home who loves dogs but will maintain space if needed. I also have a husky mix who generally just minds her own business.

“Absolutely THE BEST!! Katie and her family took such good care of our German Shepherd, Alpha while we were away! We needed overnight boarding for a few days and she took us as a new client- without hesitation! I received SO many pictures while Alpha was staying with her and it made me feel so comfortable and that Alpha looked like he was at home and with an amazing family! She listened to all of our normal daily routine/care instructions and followed them completely. I would absolutely, 100% recommend Katie as a sitter, for daycare, overnight boarding, etc. She is very easy to talk to, kind, works with you and your schedule, and definitely loving towards animals!!! We will most definitely be using her services again!!”
“Had another great dog sitting experience with Jill and Chad… our Plott Hound mix, Luna, is always happy when we go on vacation because she gets to go have fun too, lol. 😂 Jill and Chad are quick to respond and always keep us abreast of anything we need to know regarding Luna’s stay and they send us photos and updates so we can see what she’s up to. I wish we lived a little closer but they are worth traveling a bit farther for. Overall a great experience and they are our go-to dog sitter. Highly recommend!”
