“Jen took very good care of my dog and I will definitely use her again to sit. She was very nice and communicated with me from the 1st meet-up and up until I picked Kobe up. Thanks again Jen”

“Jenny took exceptional care of our two pups while we were away on vacation. She provided daily updates along with photos, which gave us great peace of mind knowing they were happy and well cared for. Both of our dogs are rescues, and one of them is especially shy and requires a little extra patience and TLC. Jenny went above and beyond to make sure he felt safe, comfortable, and loved during his stay. It was clear she truly cared about their well-being and treated them like her own. We couldn't be happier with the care she provided and will absolutely be using her again for our next vacation. Highly recommend!”

“Recently left my puppy with Thelma. I was able to go on vacation without concerns for my pups well being. She took extra precautions to keep him safe by putting up extra barricades around her fence to prevent him from escaping. My pup loved playing with her dogs. i definitely will have her watch my dog again.”

“Barbra was an excellent host to my little Millie. She welcomed her into her home and treated her like a very special member of the family. Millie received excellent care and plenty of attention!”

“I am so glad that I found Tiffany. This was the first time Layla has ever stayed with anyone overnight. Layla is 13 years old and Tiffany took such great care of her. She followed my instructions and made my emergency travel plans less stressful. I will use her again which means I can actually plan to travel again!”

“Myra was very professional and took notes of everything i said and followed them. She also gave me detailed updates often including information of what activities they did, what food and how much my dog ate, when he peed and pooped. Sent me videos and pictures of my dog. And it reduced my worries to my baby fur while i was gone for a day. Myra was so loving that she even slept close to my dog so my dog wont feel lonely. Amazing experience and Will definitely book again!”

“Candace is wonderful! It was obvious she has an affection for dogs as soon as we, and our Boston, met her. She has lots of room for running and playing. She sent pictures several times showing how comfortable Pru was at her home. She took great care of her "houseguest". I have no reservations about recommending her, and we will definitely use her again when we are in the area.”

“It was a pleasure to have Charles and Heather. They were awesome and they kept us in the loop daily. Khloe was well taken care of. I would recommend them. Thank you all again.”

“Tango had a wonderful time, and was very happy with her stay with Dawn and her family. She fit right in as a member of their “pack” I was very pleased with the care she received, she had plenty of fun and stimulation too.”

“Zackie is an EXCEPTIONAL pet sitter! She accepted my last-minute booking and seamlessly accommodated my unpredictable travel plans. Throughout Simba’s stay, she sent regular updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. It was clear he received top notch care and fit right in with her family. I HIGHLY recommend her. Your pet will be treated with genuine love and outstanding care.”

“I would highly recommend Jen! I have basically never left my dog at home alone. I chose to have Jen watch him since I didn’t want to leave my dog for the first time at home for 8 hours or more. I had a good feeling about her. She was on time, ready, and happy to take my dog. In talking to Jen I could tell that she has experience with dogs and that she loves them! She reassured me when I left him with her and let me know what she had planned. Jen took pictures during their walk and at the park. She sent me pictures throughout the afternoon and evening. My dog was happy and not anxious at all. When I came to pick him up she was already downstairs with my dog and his things in hand. He was very happy. I will definitely book Jen again next time I’m in the D.C. area!”
“Brooke was great to work with setting up and caring for our dog during a six-day trip my wife and I took to CA. She has dogs of her own at her own and took in our dog as a border at her residence. We had not tried boarding our dog at another residence before, and this seemed to work very well. We will likely use Brooke again next time to care for our dog.”

“Emily was awesome!!! I couldn’t have felt more comfortable and relaxed leaving my dog, Kobe, in her care! Kobe spent a week with Emily while my family vacationed in Florida, she updated me every day with pictures/videos and a quick synopsis of how Kobe’s day/night was! Kobe couldn’t have looked any happier running like a wild man in her large fenced in back yard, or on his daily walk! I truly am thankful I found Emily and will definitely use her again in the future!!! Thank you so much Emily!!!”

“Kari, Joseph, and their kids were phenomenal with our last-minute booking of our boxer, Peanut! Their home is beautiful and spacious in a lovely neighborhood. They’re communicative, provided a crate (which made our lives so much easier). They were flexible when we were a few minutes late to pickup and were totally understanding. We’ll absolutely book with them again!”
“Jill and Thomas was amazing and so kind! They treated Kobie like their own and took great care of him. They were in constant with me throughout my trip and sent me many photos!! I would 100% board with them again.”

“Brooklyn was wonderful to my two dogs. I was in town for business and traveling with my dogs. She took great care of them, played with them all day and made them feel comfortable stopping for the weekend in Delaware. I was traveling from GA to CT and this allowed me to relax would use her again when I return to town.”

“Jeren did an amazing job with my dog! She was even flexible with my pick up time when my flight got delayed. Would definitely recommend if your dog likes other dogs and is very shy like mine”

About: Ive owned dogs and cats since I was seven years old and grew up around animals my entire life. I currently have two large dogs and one medium dog that I trained and take care of. I have house sat for three families, with two medium to large dogs and a family with a medium dog and a puppy, each for a week at a time. I am comfortable with all animals including reptiles and can confidently handle large dogs. More than the physical aspects of caring for animals, I love to love on them with lots of pets and affection. Many animals are drawn to me despite being hesistant or fearful of people. I have a passion for training and correcting dogs with a calm and patient demeanor. I enjoy learning and studying dog body language to strengthen my understanding, care, and training for them. I am following my passion of working with animals, starting with work here on Rover. I am striving to someday start my own training and boarding business.

“Hannah definitely took care of my babies as if they were her own. My crew was very comfortable with her and loved her. They needed medication and she was definitely comfortable giving them their meds. I will definitely book her again in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was 8. My neighbors and family friends would often ask me to take care of their cats by feeding, playing, and spending time with them as they grew up. I have experience giving medicine and special care for a wide range of ages too.
“This was our first time using Rover, and Luie made it an absolutely amazing experience! He took such wonderful care of our kitties and completely put our minds at ease. Our biggest concern was making sure our oldest cat, Skittles, received medication, but Luie was able to administer it successfully and without any problems. He sent us lots of pictures and regular updates while we were away. It felt incredibly reassuring to know our cats were truly cared for so we did not have to worry at all. Luie is a fantastic sitter, and we highly recommend him to anyone!!”

About: I was a cat sitter during my first few years of high school. My neighbor was out of state and asked me to take care of her cat. During this time, I would visit at minimum, three times a day to make sure the cat had food and water, had some playtime, and to clean and freshen the litter box. The owner had specific instructions for feeding that I would follow and prepare accordingly. Like dogs, I have a special place in my heart for cats and I always make sure their needs are fulfilled.

About: I currently have my own cat who originally was a feral cat. I grew up with at least one dog and one cat at all times. I help watch my sister's cats and I have given her older cat liquid medication by mouth for pain. I have experience with really friendly cats but also very skittish cats like 2 of the 3 cats my sister owns that I watch. I have helped wrap a cat's paw when with help. I'm currently in college for Vet Tech and love working with animals.

“Cameryn was great! She watched my 2 kitties while I was away and they loved seeing her. She stopped by each day, fed lots of treats, and sent me pictures each time. It’s nice to know I can trust someone with my boys when I go away. Thank you Cameryn!”

About: I’ve taken care of many animals throughout my teen to adult years. I volunteered at a rescue taking care of mostly the cats. I’ve previously helped rescue kittens and dogs. I’ve always had animals around me. I’m a very big animal lover. I currently have 2 cats and 2 dogs and cat sit a kitten from time to time. I give the cats baths maybe once a month and the dogs weekly and I routinely walk the dogs. I watch the dogs while they’re outside while also giving them extra love. I love taking dogs on walks. I play with cats and even bring along toys that I know my cats love.

About: I’ve been caring for cats and pets most of my adult life, including flying to other states to house and pet sit for family and friends. I’ve administered subcutaneous injections, managed the special diets of multiple cats & taken pride in the car I give in the absence of the pet parent.
About: I have cared for cats for most of my life but 5 years ago my fiancé and I adopted my first dog. For the past 5 years, I’ve cared for my dog, Mary Jane, who has been my sweetest teacher in understanding dog behavior, routines, and communication. Through caring for her, I’ve gained hands-on experience with daily walking, feeding schedules, basic training reinforcement, administering simple medications, and creating a calm, consistent environment for a happy pup. I have also cared for many friends pets while they were away on vacation. I may be new to Rover, but I’m not new to being a responsible, attentive animal owner. Caring for animals is already woven into my daily rhythm. I work part-time with flexible hours, giving me plenty of space in my schedule for peaceful walks, playtime, and check-ins with pets. I’m used to creating a balanced routine around my own dog, and bringing that same calm, attentive energy to other pets feels completely natural. I am currently free to sit/walk any day of the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and familiar environment for them. I follow your routines exactly as you outline them — from feeding instructions to walk times to any training cues your dog is used to. I keep doors and gates secured, monitor their body language closely, and make sure they always have fresh water and a comfortable space to relax. Trust is extremely important to me, so I communicate clearly, send updates/photos, and treat your home with the same respect and care I treat your pet.

“Tiffany was the best. This was my first time doing a dog sitter. Now my fears are over. I'm glad Ranger had a good time. I would give 10 stars if I could. Tiffany did a good job of keeping my dog calm and very busy. I thank you again.”
“I was in town for a family celebration and needed someone to watch Zeus for a few hours. I’m so happy to have found Olinda. She took amazing care of him. She is very sweet and very accommodating! Zeus took to her right away and had a blast playing in her fenced in backyard! She kept me updated with pictures and videos throughout his visit! I will absolutely use her services again the next time we are in town. Thank you Olinda! You were great!”

About: A little experience background: * I was raised learning to care for pets in a family of trainers and boarders. We also spent a lot of time working with local shelters. * Professionally, I started working in boarding and assisting with training and behavioral rehabilitation 20 years ago * In 2012, I started my career in dog grooming * I am certified to groom dogs and cats * In 2020, I became certified to train new groomers for their certifications. My specialties: * I specialize in fear-free, comfort experiences. * I do trauma rehabilitation grooming for pets who can't go to standard salons due to behavior/aggression issues. For this, I focus on building trust and over time, getting your fur babies comfortable enough with the process so that they learn to enjoy being groomed. The goal is to one day get them to the point where they can once again be welcomed back to a normal salon. * Many of the grooms I perform are also for pets that are unable to be serviced in standard salons due to health issues. * Senior pet care * Puppy care * Basic training * Administering medications and monitoring for symptoms and side effects. What to expect during their stay: * Daily walks 2-4 times a day (depending on if you have them in a schedule, I try to maintain that for you) * Plenty of one on one time and attention! * Trips to the dog park (with your permission and depending on your pet for obvious safety reasons) * Story time! (It may sound silly, but I have found that offensive times, relaxing and reading a bedtime story out loud, often helps to calm a pets anxiety levels. I have even had success in this with pets that have high anxiety and destructive/aggressive behavior for storms and loud noises when they were out of their medication) * A calming, loving, family experience for your fur baby. Always. * Picture, video, and message updates about your pet! * Play time and exercise! * Trust that I will follow strict instructions and schedules if given. Routine is important. * Trust that your pup is being cared for someone experienced in emergency and medical situations. I will act quickly and always do what is best for your pet! In anything I do, I ensure your dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I treat all pets like they are family and build genuine bonds. Communication is key, so it is important that you not only communicate as much information about your dog to me so I can give the best experience, but also that you receive full reports on behavior, any changes I may have noticed in your pup, subtle signs of potential health concerns, etc. I will also work with your dog on basic training if needed during their stays, and educated you as needed on grooming maintenance, your pets body language and behavior shifts to elevate your bond at home as well. I do offer grooming services for any pets in my care. However, pricing and service completion will depend on the size of your dog, condition your pet is in, and their stress levels. I will never force a pet through a service. I am generally home all day. I do work as a groomer for pets that are unable to got to salons, but I do this from home as well. So your pets will have round the clock love and care. You will need to provide any food and specific treats if your pet has a favorite or dietary restrictions/allergies. Pets are family. I will personally take them for walks throughout the day for fresh air and exercise, play with them and ensure they feel comfortable and lived while you are away. I do offer creating services, however, depending on the size of your dog, you may have to supply the crate. You pet will always be treated like family, but the details of their routine and activities will depend on your instructions. I respect that different lifestyles require different things (i.e crating vs free roam, scheduled feeding vs grazing, scheduled walks/potty breaks vs whenever they want to go out, etc.) and will maintain that sense of normalcy as much as possible. If you opt for grooming, and I am able to comfortably groom your dog, grooming will take place 1-2 days before your return. That way they have time to decompress after, and if they are stressed for parts, it gives leeway to do little bits over time.

I can feed the dogs or medicine if needed, fill the water bowls, take them outside (a fenced yard is preferred please or trained), I am willing to walk dogs to get any energy out.

About: With 10+ years of caring pets of all kinds—dogs, cats, and more—I treat every animal like my own. I bring patience, reliability, and always want to learn each pet’s quirks and needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, basic training, or medication, I provide loving care with regular photo and text updates to keep you updated and connected. I have a flexible schedule! I’m open to any time, day, or length your pets need care. So house-sitting and overnights work great for me! I guarantee your pets will receive plenty of love, walks, and pets when I’m there. When caring for your pets, I will make sure to keep their routines as consistent as possible—from walks and activities to mealtimes and medicine. I respect your home and space by keeping it clean and secure so both you and your pets feel comfortable and safe. I also enjoy sending photo and text updates to keep you updated and connected!
About: I have 6 years of experience taking care of 4 cats and my dog!! I can feed, give water, take walks, scoop boxes, and entertain with toys. I am also excellent with anxious pets and those who need a little extra care and love. I have a gentle voice and will always try to be aware of your pets' comfort level before approaching. I am currently in college, so I go to class various times during the week! Because of this, I may need to adjust arrival times depending on my class schedule and what days you need me for. This also means that I am good for vacations and other short-term jobs. I will work hard to provide a safe environment for all animals in accordance with guidelines set by my clients. For dogs, I prefer a fenced in yard, but will consider leashed walks depending on the size of your dog.
“We were nervous about leaving Ace, but Luie assured us that Ace was in good hands and that was the truth! Luie was very attentive and communicated with us all weekend. Luie will be our go-to whenever we travel.”

“Jeren did an amazing job with my dog! She was even flexible with my pick up time when my flight got delayed. Would definitely recommend if your dog likes other dogs and is very shy like mine”

About: My farm is a beautiful sanctuary that we love to share with all furry friends! Whether they want to splash in the pool, run outside in a safe CLEAN secure area, or just have a nice snuggle in their indoor kennel or maybe even stretch out on the couch- just know they’ll be wagging to come back! I have 6 horses on the property, 13 chickens, 2 turkeys, 2 outdoor barn cats, and my Friendly Laid back dog Archie. I provide love & care which is more important than anything else. But of course- I follow parents rules! My entire life revolves around my farm and caring for all of my animals. I am on the property 24/7 as this is my full time job. And luckily it’s my passion. We have a beautiful fenced in pasture with lots of space to run. We are in a very private and rural area. We also have a pool- only if parents are OK and the Pup chooses to take a dip! Your Pup will always be supervised. If there are restrictions we will always abide by them. We also have dog crates if needed or requested and a beautiful inside area as well. Basically your Pup is gonna have free range and feel a home away from home.

Thank you, Rackeem!”

“Mike is so awesome! A popular sitter for a reason. I was able to communicate and receive pictures of my baby when traveling abroad from him. Mike is a great communicator. Him and his son has been taking well care of my pup. Thanks and looking forward to more boarding appointments!”

“Jermaine was awesome! Our dog, Reese, is getting older and I feel like a traditional kennel is a little too loud & stressful for her. Leaving her with Jermaine gave us the peace of mind we needed. He was communicative and positive. She came home happy & healthy. We are very grateful and will absolutely use his services again”

“Our dog Cooper seemed so happy during his overnight boarding. He normally doesn’t eat at first when being boarded but he was enjoying a treat and eating his breakfast within moments of being dropped off. We received thoughtful updates and photos and Cooper was relaxed, comfortable and had settled in so quickly. Fantastic communication and quick responses made our trip stress free; we knew our dog was in good hands!”

“Zelie was great! She responded quickly to messages and was kind and flexible especially when we asked to add an additional night to our dogs stay at the last minute. She also sent good updates, pictures and even a couple short videos! I definitely hope to book her again!!”
