“Ashley was amazing with our cat sitting needs. Taking time to check food and water as well as changing out the litter box. She even took care of the plants that were in need of some water love during the heat!”
“Rover review She took great care of Hazy while I was away. He unfortunately developed vomiting and diarrhea during my trip, so she had to clean up after him daily and keep a close eye on him. It may have been anxiety- but nonetheless-She even brought a probiotic from home for him, which I really appreciated. I ended up adding three extra visits so she could continue monitoring him, and she was reliable and communicative throughout. I really appreciated her taking on the extra work while Hazy wasn’t feeling well.”

They became friends quickly and I was impressed by the thorough updates, pictures, and videos that left me feeling very confident that she was well cared for while I was away. About: Dogs have been in my life since I was 12 years old. I have had 4 dogs throughout that time. I have experience with both senior dogs and high-energy younger dogs. I am more used to smaller dogs, but one of my current 2 dogs is a 54lb pitt-bull, the other one is a 15lb pug mix. I also used to take care of a 70lb standard poodle for a family I was a nanny for. I am currently unemployed, so I have open availability. I am working on my master´s degree and would like to use this extra time to save a little money since I just got married. I offer dog walking and house sitting services. I can also play with them and provide a safe and comfortable envoinment. I will adapt to whatever specific needs your pets may have.
“Marion was so generous while checking on our cats during the holidays. She gave them extra love and attention above and beyond what we expected! We came home to very happy cats that were almost disappointed it was us walking in the door rather than her! Thank you so much, Marion!!”
“Melissa was wonderful. My dogs took to her instantly. With all the photos and videos we could see how well they were cared for. The mail was organized and she left enough food for them until we returned home. Will definitely use Melissa again!! The family, including the dogs, have a new best friend!!”

“Ebot responded to my booking request quickly & was also very polite with his communications. Jäger didn’t finish his two days booked with him. I don’t think it was a great fit for Jäger & think ebot would do best caring for dogs who don’t mind being crated and are smaller in size who also don’t mind being left. Apparently my dog displayed anxious behaviors he has never displayed before in his 4 years of rover daycares but I think it just wasn’t the best fit. Love ebot’s energy & personality though & wish him the best of luck! I think he’ll do great with other pups”
“Need a compassionate sitter? Check! Need someone who will tire your high energy dogs out? Check! Want a sitter who follows all your instructions to a T? Check Check Check! Took care of my 3 shepherds with excellent care, even my shepherd with degenerative myelopathy (who is a picky princess) had a happy time with him. Will use him again!”
“We brought Ranger to his first Day of DayCare to Lauren yesterday. She is Fantastic!! She sent us updates and photos several times and It put our minds at ease knowing our Boy was in such Great hands! Lauren is very in tune with the needs of your pet. She knows what Toys to have them play with, treats they like and give them hugs and cuddles. Ranger was a Happy Boy and Loved playing with his new buddy Zoe!”
About: I’m a dedicated dog lover who has 20 years of experience with high-need small breeds to larger pittie mixes. I have experience with medication management, fragile pets with mobility issues, anxiety and more. I work full-time from home so as long as I have a WiFi connection I’m in good shape. Plenty of time for walks and playtime I am available for walks, drop ins, day care or boarding in my home or yours. I have a fenced yard and literal miles of sidewalks and trails near me for walks. I offer run of the house for dogs who can do that, or safe smaller spaces for little ones. I have lots of experience with maintaining a safe environment for pets with anxiety, mobility issues or other conditions.
“Thanks to Jeannie, Poppy had the perfect day of nonstop fun and lots of affection. Poppy took to Jeannie right away and was very comfortable in her home and spacious backyard. When I came to pick her up at the end of the day she proudly showed me the toys she had played with and ran laps around the yard. Jeannie sent me great photos of Poppy and reassuring messages throughout the day. Can’t wait to bring Pops back for a return visit!”
“Neelo was fantastic with our pup. She was very accommodating and willing to follow the schedule we use for our young puppy. She also took the best pictures of him. Neelo watched him two days in a row and he went from being a little nervous (which is totally normal) to being so excited to see her by day two. Thanks for taking such good care of our little guy!”
About: I grew up around dogs my whole life. Always loved them and loved taking care of them. From puppies to brown dogs, i’ve seen it all. I work and do school remote from home so pet care fits perfect. Taking care of dogs will get me more active and I love a good walk or jog. I treat each pet as if they are my own. With the same love and care I give my dog. Once they come to me they are home.
“Huey took such great care of my pupper Winky, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Winky can be super shy at first, so I always get nervous leaving him with someone new, but he got comfortable with Huey so quickly it was amazing! She has two super friendly dogs of her own(a little bichon and a corgi), and they got along so well with Winky which is awesome. She also sent me updates and photos during the stay and it looked like he was completely relaxed and having the best time. I also added on grooming during his stay, since she’s also a home based groomer and did such an amazing job(she told me she has 20 years of grooming experience!!) Winky came home looking so clean and adorable with the cutest haircut! You can really tell she has a ton of experience with dogs and genuinely cares about them. I’d absolutely book with Huey again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, experienced, and caring for their pup!”
About: I grew up in a home that always had a dog or multiple dogs, from 6 pounds to 90 pounds but also comfortable with even bigger dogs. My scheduled is a flexible work from home schedule so I can give constant attention to dogs throughout the day, with a dog park at the apartment. I am very flexible with dogs’ needs and accommodate their normal routines. I prefer not to leave them by themselves and happy to take them on very many walks.
“Henry was well taken care of and came home a happy dog. I will definitely continue to use Vanessa when we need a sitter. She was very flexible with time and I felt good leaving Henry in her hands.”
“Israel took such great care of my puppy! They sent plenty of pictures and updates throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind. They kept me informed about how he was doing, responded quickly to my messages, and were incredibly friendly. It was clear that my puppy was happy and well cared for. I would absolutely book with Israel again and highly recommend them!”
About: 🐕 Individualized Dog Boarding & Care 🐕 Worried about your dog getting lost in the crowd at a sitter's house packed with too many pets? I get it. As a dog mom myself, I believe home stays should mean true one-on-one attention and family-style care, not a mini kennel. _______________________________________ ~~ WHY BOARD/STAY WITH US?~~ + Small Groups, Big Attention: We host a maximum of 2 guest dogs at a time. Your pup gets genuine focus, love, and room to relax without the stress of a crowded home. + Safety First: We always require a pre-booking Meet & Greet. On arrival day, we use a gradual, multi-step introduction process outside and inside the home to make sure every dog feels safe. + Frequent Updates: You’ll get an update right after drop-off so you know your pup is settling in, followed by reliable daily updates and photos & videos. No waiting around or worrying! + Tailored Activity & Enrichment: Since we work from home, we provide frequent neighborhood walks, dedicated indoor playtime, and long-lead outdoor play sessions in our grassy area. Whether your dog needs high energy output or loves to snooze, we adapt to their rhythm. _______________________________________ Leaving your baby behind is tough. Our goal is to give you total peace of mind while treating your dog like a member of our own family. We’d love to meet your pup! Hi, I’m Dianne! I’ve been fostering dogs since 2017 with Fetch WI Rescue and Lucky Dog Animal Rescue (DC). My husband, Jake, and I work from home alongside our resident "foster fail," Kona. Because I work from home, I have a ton of flexibility to step away from my computer as needed. I have a mellow 5.5 year old resident dog who loves to play if your pup is interested. Otherwise she pretty much minds her own business. She is a St. Bernard and Blackmouth cur mix who is very gentle and has had a lot of exposure to dogs of varying temperaments through fostering. She can’t wait to meet you pup! We also allow dogs to have free roam of our home and will sleep in our bedroom at night.
“Piero and his family are great with our dog, Grover, a basset/beagle mix He seems very happy when we've picked him up, and Piero is very easy to communicate with. I'm thrilled to have found a new home away from home for Grover.”
“Another great stay for Taake! Maria and Fernando have great communication and are genuine, enthusiastic people. Our pup seems to really enjoy her visits. Thank you.”
“Shadid is amazing! It was my first time using Rover and I was nervous about leaving my puppy, Rudy, with someone else. From the moment we met Shadid, she was great with Rudy. I was concerned about Rudy getting anxious and being difficult to manage. I realized quickly that I had nothing to worry about with Shadid. Rudy was immediately comfortable with her. I don’t think he even noticed me leave because he was so excited to hang out with Shadid & Pebbles all day. Throughout the day, I received pictures of Rudy at the park and playing. It felt great knowing that Rudy was in good hands and having an amazing day. When I picked Rudy up, he was sad to leave! Rudy can be challenging and usually takes a while to warm up to people, so I was extremely impressed by Shadid’s ability to care for dogs. I would absolutely be comfortable leaving Rudy with Shadid again and am so grateful that I found her. If you love your dog and don’t know which sitter will be best, contact Shadid!! Your dog will have the best day and you’ll feel great knowing he/she is in good hands! From a professional standpoint, Shadid is excellent. I’m in medical school and was taking an exam during Rudy’s stay, so it was important to me that the sitter be professional. Shadid was perfect. She responds quickly and is completely reliable. I strongly recommend her!”

“Jeannie was absolutely fantastic. We weren’t able to do a meet-and-greet beforehand, but she took the time to ask so many thoughtful and important questions ahead of the visit. Because of that, she came to the house completely prepared and already had a great understanding of Steve Harvey and his routine. Her communication was first-class from start to finish. The updates, pictures, and follow-up gave me complete peace of mind, and I’m especially grateful that she was able to help us on such short notice. The next time Steve Harvey needs a walk, I won’t hesitate for a second to call Jeannie again. Highly recommend her!”

“I used Rover.com for the first time and found Emily who lives close by. She walked both our dogs twice a day while we were out of town as my live at home daughter works late. It was pretty clear the dogs loved seeing her and enjoyed the walks and attention while we were away. Greatly appreciated the texts and pictures of the dogs. We will definitely be using Emily again.”
“Stephanie has a real love for animals and goes the extra mile to give Paige love and attention. She’s so dependable and has helped in so many ways. Don’t know what I’d do without her.”

“Gianna started walking my dog weekly about a month ago. I went back and forth as to whether or not I wanted to hire someone given my dog’s reactivity on walks. I could not be happier with our choice to have Gianna!! She is responsible, communicative, patient and kind. My dog is noticeably happier when I get home, and it feels like a huge weight is off our shoulders to know he is being cared for by someone who cares for and loves him like I do. We’ve taken multiple trips where Lucy was unable to accompany us and she’s always stayed with Theresa, instantly making Lucy part of her family. Theresa provides daily updates, photos and has provided an outstanding “secondary” home for our pet. Lucy is always comfortable, well taken care of and loved as if she was theirs in all aspects. “Bria took care of our 40 lb pooch for a long weekend in October. It seemed like Mocha had a great time. The fact that Bria owns a dog was a plus for Mocha, since they got along well. I think the starting point for a lot of services including pet sitting is good clear communication and this is a strength for Bria. She is easy to reach, easy to make arrangements with, and quick to follow-up. She is interested in a good experience for the pet and attentive to details regarding any particular pet, which puts an owner's mind at ease. Good frequency of photos during Mocha's stay to give us a sense that things were alright. Also Bria's location is great for Petworth area - convenient and near the center of things but with a nice peaceful section of neighborhood for walks. Overall great experience and we would recommend her and have Mocha with her again.”
