They're animal lovers too, but in case separation is needed, my bedroom, enclosed sunroom, and finished barn space can be used to contain a pet when the kids are around. For pet sitting and dog walking, I have a leash and a fanny pack. As a runner, it's a joy to take energetic dogs on the trail. For runs & walks, I use my own private access to the little gunpowder falls river woods with a long walkable waterfall, the local NCR trail, or the cemetery across the street (1/4mi laps).

“Kathleen and her pack made Sam feel so welcome. She gives the dogs space to do what they need to do to be comfortable, which I appreciate. She played ball with Sam which made him super happy. And it sounds like Sam and Kathleen's 8 year old lab Ruthie became fast friends. Sam moped after we picked him up which is always a good sign that he enjoyed himself. Sam will be coming back for future visits.”

“This was the first time I had a sitter watch my dog for an overnight stay. I was nervous but after communicating with Melanie and during the meet and greet I was put at ease. While Shiloh was staying with Melanie and her family I was completely comfortable. Melanie provided daily updates via txt, pictures, and videos and was extremely responsive to my questions/comments. I will definitely use Melanie again and highly recommend her.”

They asked very good questions about your pets, so that they could render the best care. I received updates, pictures and videos showing the fun Broc and Remi was having. I could tell Broc and Remi were having lots of fun playing with their dog Zoe. If I ever need a sitter again, I'll definitely reach out to them and hope they're available. “Peal was everything you could ask for in a sitter for your pet. She was communicative, flexible, welcoming and kind. My dog, Freddy, stayed with Pearl while my son had a baseball tournament at Cal Ripken in Aberdeen. Tournaments are challenging to plan for and I didn't know how long we would need Pearl to care for our dog. Pearl and I communicated throughout the weekend as my son's team continued to advance towards the championship Sunday night through rain delays, and reassured me that she could care for Freddy as long as we needed. It was such a relief to know that our dog was in a safe environment, allowing me to focus on baseball. Pearl was a huge contribution to the success of our weekend! I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone in the Aberdeen area as a loving home for your pet.”
“This is the first time we have used Lauren for taking care of our Roxy while we were on vacation. Lauren provides a clean, loving environment, and took excellent care of Roxy.
