But, on day 3 she was able to have a huge breakthrough and get him to come out from hiding during her visit. He played laser and and actually got near her, which is AMAZING! I was thrilled with this breakthrough she had with him, as he usually isn't very friendly with new people. About: I’ve always helped out neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family friends with their pets. My simple pleasure is taking dogs on long walks and being outside. I’m currently working part time so I’ll be free for walks and playing with your animals very often. I’m easy to schedule if you need mornings, afternoons, or both! I take dogs on long long walks (at least a mile) I can of course do less if your dog isn’t up to the challenge. I love to play after a walk as well.

I've also taken care of animals other then cats and dogs. I've done rabbits and Guinea pigs. I feed, give baths, give medications and walks. I can currently do this full time. If you ask me to do a 24 hour stay. I am available for that as well. I just need to know at least 4 days ahead of time. My SO travels for work. And I would need to fit my dog into that schedule. Just know I will have other pets to take care while staying at your home. And will not be there 24/7. I will be staying at your house on my breaks and overnight if requested. We do not have a fenced in backyard. But we do take him on several walks a day. Regardless of the weather. He is unbothered by it.

About: I have taken care of all animals from horses to rabbits and snakes ever since I was little. I am blessed with the ability to have been working for a kennel for the past four years that’s given me experience to care for them. I feed, water, medicate, play and spend time with all sorts of pups ! About: I've been around animals my whole life. From the littlest of fish, to the largest of cows and other farm animals! I have 3 dogs of my own, two Colorado mountain dogs and a medium pittie mix. I also have 4 geckoes (2 leopards, a giant Madagascar day gecko, and my newest boy, a harlequin crested gecko!). “Boarding with Ellen was outstanding. We had a family emergency that made taking our large dog with us impossible. He’s five-years old and had never been away from home - I am sure it was challenging for him. While not aggressive or disobedient, at about 120lbs he can be intimidating. Ellen was clearly very comfortable with him during our meet and greet visit and was very confident he’d be fine with her. He absolute was! She made him very at home on her beautiful farmette with her pack of critters. They all looked clean and loved. I noted her calmness with the dogs and confidence in their interaction under her watchful eye. The dogs have plenty of space to run and socialize. She made sure we gave her his “regular” food and medications, and verified other foods he would be allowed to have. She sent regular updates and photos during his stay. Each action shot was accompanied by a thoughtful narrative of the photo. We really enjoyed pictures of his quiet time, napping with the other dogs in her home was comforting. They all looked content. We needed an extra day of boarding because of the unpredictability of our travel and Ellen made it so easy. Our dog made new friends and we did too.”
