Both were rescued from bad situations and have been with me 8 and 13 years respectively. We do a daily walk around the neighborhood and they still look forward to it, even the one with 3 legs. I took care of him when his leg was amputated 5 years ago due to cancer and feel pretty good about giving meds, if necessary. Your dog will be well taken care of. About: I have been around dogs since I was born. Personally, my family adopted my first puppy when I was 10. I’ve been pet sitting for neighbors, family and friends since I was around 13. Now grown with my own pup, I know how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby while you aren’t able. I would love to be trusted to care for your babies when you aren’t available. I currently work from home Monday and Friday, so your pet would get just as much attention as mine. We are home most weekends, where your pup will get 2 walks and play time. I have a fenced yard and one playful, yet shy at first pup. Once she warms up, it’s constant playtime and an endless amount of toys and treats to share. When we leave the house, our dog is left uncrated but we have a crate if needed.

My sister is a former vet tech (I have learned so much from her and she is still my #1 resource when I have to "triage" anything non-emergent), and I grew up surrounded by animals, so pet care has always felt like second nature to me. I’ve cared for senior pets, administered medications, supported animals with special needs, even raised premature puppies! I’m very attuned to the unique rhythms and cues of each animal I meet. I’m gentle, playful, and intuitive, matching energy levels and always paying attention to what a pet needs in the moment. Whether that means slow movements and soft energy or zoomies and tug-of-war, I show up in a way that helps your pet feel safe, respected, and loved. I also deeply value communication with pet parents. I’ll always ask lots of questions to understand your preferences, routines, and what makes your pet feel their best. You can count on regular photo and written updates during our time together! I’m flexible with scheduling and happy to work with pets who may require more attention on walks together due to triggers, so long as there’s no bite history and we’ve had a proper meet & greet to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. :) I'm looking forward to meeting your fur fam! I work remotely and have a flexible and self-structured schedule, so I’m thankfully able to build my days intentionally around the things that matter, including pet care! I space out my client sessions to make room for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with the animals I care for. When caring for pets in their home, I’m respectful of their space and routines, and always take the time to understand what helps them feel safe and comfortable. I read behavior cues, match energy levels, and adjust my approach, whether that means calm and slow or playful and high-energy. I ask detailed questions up front so I can follow your preferences closely, and I always keep you updated with photos and notes. Your pet’s well-being and emotional safety are my top priorities.

About: I’ve grown up with multiple dog breeds my whole life. I’ve also owned cats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I have 2+ years of experience with taking care of bearded dragons and I’ve had a couple visits with snakes, specifically corn snakes. I work with any and all dogs/cats. I also like to send pics/videos of the pets to their owners daily for that reassurance that their fur baby is taken care of with the upmost care! I’m currently a full-time college student. I’m available any day and any time of the week. I’m usually available last minute as well and around holidays if needed. I currently have 4 dogs; 3 Yorkies and 1 Boarder Collie mix. They’re set on a twice per day feeding and their internal clock is set to those times. If I were to be in a clients home, I would do my best to ensure the animal stays in their routine and their feeding/medication is on schedule. They’d get plenty of play times and unlimited cuddles!
About: I have taken care of family, friends and my own pets all my life. I am really responsible and have a love for all animals. I am very detailed oriented and I have a flexible work schedule. I can readily accessible at any time of the day to accommodate anyone. I have a large fenced in backyard which allows non caged or crated stays, where pets are allowed to play and roam off the leash

“Tara was absolutely amazing!! This was my first time leaving my two pups in her care and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She sent tons of pictures throughout the day and very thorough updates on what was going on throughout their stay. One of my pups had a rough time adjusting to a new space and had some accidents inside and Tara was so patient and understanding. I also have a senior pup and they were all so careful with him and ensured he was safe the whole visit. She took them on walks, had lots of playtime and they got tons of cuddles from the whole family. It gave me peace of mind knowing my pups were safe and being cared for as if they were at home. Ruben has clear markers for anxiety, so when we picked him up we were on the look out to see if he'd been stressed. Ruben was happy to see us, but also clearly very happy and comfortable with Emanuel. Back at home Ruben is happy and is not showing any of his anxiety markers, indicating to me that he felt safe and comfortable while we were away. He also came back freshly bathed and his bed had been cleaned too.”

“Lashelle was absolutely amazing with Rockie! From the moment I dropped him off, she kept me updated with thoughtful, detailed messages and plenty of photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Rockie is naturally anxious in new environments, but Lashelle was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. She understood his body language, gave him the space he needed to adjust, and helped him build confidence at his own pace. I especially appreciated how she handled introductions with her family and pets, always putting Rockie's comfort and safety first. It was clear she has a lot of experience with dogs and truly cares about their well-being. She kept me informed about everything—from his eating and potty habits to his progress settling in, making new friends, and even his funny moments watching TV! She also went above and beyond by cleaning him up after an accident without hesitation. By the end of his stay, Rockie had gone from being nervous to relaxing on the couch, enjoying the yard, snuggling with the family, and even warming up to everyone in the house. Seeing that progress meant so much to me. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. Lashelle treated Rockie like one of her own, and I knew he was loved and cared for every step of the way. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who is compassionate, experienced, communicative, and truly dedicated to providing exceptional care.
