“BLUF: My dog came home happy and exhausted. I'd use Cameron again in a heartbeat! Drake (75-lb lab) had the time of his life over an extended weekend with Cameron. Cameron came to our rescue when our existing weekend plans fell through. Her dog Cherry, a Sheepadoodle, is his new BFF. Cameron had another dog staying with her as well, and the 3 of them made a very active pack. Based on his step count, he didn't stop running around the entire time! Cameron has a fenced back yard on a quiet street. Dogs are allowed on the furniture (my dog prefers to sleep on the couch, so this was important). Cherry is a wonderful host as well, and an absolute doll.”

Gus is five years old and we've had him since he was 10 weeks and he has never stayed with anyone other than family or close friends. Therefore, we were a bit nervous about leaving Gus with a stranger. Well Carlos was amazing! We cannot say enough good things about the way he not only took care of Gus but also reassured us on a daily basis through photos and detailed texts how great Gus was doing. What a relief! Gus interacted very well with Carlos’s dog as well as a couple of small dogs that came and went during Gus’s fun stay. About: I’ve grown up with multiple dog breeds my whole life. I’ve also owned cats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I have 2+ years of experience with taking care of bearded dragons and I’ve had a couple visits with snakes, specifically corn snakes. I work with any and all dogs/cats. I also like to send pics/videos of the pets to their owners daily for that reassurance that their fur baby is taken care of with the upmost care! I’m currently a full-time college student. “Jessica and Nick have been watching Sara Mae during the workday for a couple of months now. Sara Mae's DaDa died just this past April and she had to move from a nice home in Charlottesville with a big porch and yard, to live with me in a DC apartment. She is a fairly anxious dog to begin with, and as you can imagine under tremendous stress and depression the past few months, getting sick a lot and not eating, especially when I had to return to work. She went from nearly 65lbs at her healthy weight, to 45lbs in two months. Since staying with Jessica and Nick during the day during the work week, she has started to calm down, is now eating again, and putting weight back on that she had lost due to depression and stress. Jessica and Nick are quite literally life savers, and I cannot thank them enough for easing my mind about Sara Mae and being a huge part of the process of helping her get to a new, healthy, normal while I have to be at work. “BLUF: My dog came home happy and exhausted. I'd use Cameron again in a heartbeat! Drake (75-lb lab) had the time of his life over an extended weekend with Cameron. Cameron came to our rescue when our existing weekend plans fell through. Her dog Cherry, a Sheepadoodle, is his new BFF. Cameron had another dog staying with her as well, and the 3 of them made a very active pack. Based on his step count, he didn't stop running around the entire time! Cameron has a fenced back yard on a quiet street. Dogs are allowed on the furniture (my dog prefers to sleep on the couch, so this was important). Cherry is a wonderful host as well, and an absolute doll.”

I could tell Brian was experienced and easy-going about any special care needed, and I just felt relieved to know Harley was in good hands and was not going to be seen as a burden. I really appreciated their welcoming and clean house and all the great spaces for Harley to explore.
