About: I have had several dogs in my life through their entire life span. I recently lost my soul dog. Not ready to get another but because they bring me so much joy, I would love to take care of others. I have the time because I am retired. I also know the feeling of worrying that they are in the best care! I can assure you that they will be! I am retired for the most part. I teach yoga a few hours a week but I have plenty of time. I can take your dog for several walks, AM or PM. I do not have a fenced in yard but do have a very long leash to allow freedom in the yard. I also live in a great neighborhood with lots of dogs. My dog recently passed but we used to take lots of daily walks and had lots of interactions.

About: I rescued my first cat when I was 3 years old. My neighbors actually found her in the woods and knew from frequent conversations that I'd been praying to God that he'd give me a kitty. Sure enough, he provided. I got to love that cat for 17 years before she passed. In that timeframe i rescued several other cats too! Having owned five cats myself, I am very familiar with different temperaments and can provide a unique experience for any feline friend as needed.

I am a Wicomico county public school teacher this proving a clean background as well as a patient and caring demeanor. I cared for my own diabetic cat for 2 years so insulin administration would be no problem. Due to some unforseen life changes I have a new situation and temporary schedule. Our pup Ripley had a great day and when we arrived, she was happy to see us but also was super happy to stay and hang out while we chatted. If my husband and I are driving down the road and I see a dog without an owner, he automatically pulls the car over so I can attempt to rescue and find their owner! I am the extreme dog lover who carries an extra set of leashes, water bowl, and treats in our car just in case. I grew up taking care of and training a German Shepherd and Sheltie. I have owned/and or fostered a few Golden Retrievers, Border Collie, Black Lab, and a Rat Terrier/Red Heeler mix. About: I have always had pets in life (dogs, cats, rabbit, hamsters, fish) and even adopted a dog to live with me when I was in college. The majority of my experience is with dogs and it spans all sizes and breads (from an 8-pound Maltese to a 70+ pound American Staffordshire Terrier). About: I currently have a cat and a golden retriever and would love to help you take care of your dog while you are in need. I work from home Monday through Friday so my schedule allows me to be very flexible for potty breaks and general playtime while I'm taking care of your best friend. We have over 3/4 of an acre of property and are also located in the heart of Berlin...So a walk or outside playtime is no problem.

I treat every pet like family and follow their normal routine as closely as possible. Since I work from home, dogs get plenty of supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. I have a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and provide regular photo updates for owners. My friendly, fully vaccinated dog enjoys having canine visitors, and introductions are always done safely.
