“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. But I’ve cared for my dog Tickle for 12 years now. I trained him as a puppy and care for him in his old age. I can do it all!! I’ve also cared for cats and fostered cats. I can administer medication, give baths, clean litter boxes, go for walks, and more! I am currently out of work and so I’m pretty available through out the week. I babysit sometimes but it’s usually once a week and very random. I am very careful with animals!! About: I have had the pleasure of gaining experience through family and friends having me pet sit for them over the years! Large breed or small breed and many in-between! I work full-time Monday through Friday. I would be available most week nights after work and weekends generally for any of your pet care needs. I would be caring for the pets as you would when you’re home! Making sure they have clean fresh water, well fed and plenty of snuggles or playtime!
About: I have taken care of many animals like cats, dogs, fish, chicken, hamsters, and a few others! Most of these were in my home throughout the years, and around four years ago I began sitting for friends and family. I am very dependable, punctual, and I love to spend time with animals. If your dog is full of energy, I am more than willing to take them for walks and play with them to get some energy out! If your dog is more laid back, I love a good snuggle! I am comfortable crating dogs, as well as having them roam freely!
About: I have had several animals in my lifetime, some of my families growing up, and several of my own. I have owned a total of 5 dogs. All of my dogs have been/are rescues. I currently have 3 "puppies" that range in ages between 1-2 years old. I got two of them when they were only 6 months old and I have done all of their training on my own. Animals of all kinds have a very special place in my hear and I work hard so my fur animals can have a better life. Remember, your animals only experience what you allow them to. Let them experience life the way we do, they are only here for so long. I work from home therefore, I am available at all times. I can bring my work to your home if I need to be there for an extended time or I can leave my work at home and come take care of your animals if it will be for a shorter period of time. My dogs experience everything that I experience in my home. Such as roaming freely, having access to food and water at all times, being able to roam in the yard independently, and most importantly, they sleep on a tempur-pedic mattress at night with their humans.

I have dogs and cats of my own and they are very happy. I have a cage if needed and I have leashes and collars available. I can take care of puppies and kittens. About: I have been house sitting animals for about a year now in my home town. I have house sat all different size dogs and cats and have even done week long house sitting for the animals. I just recently moved to college and stopped dog sitting but I am ready to continue doing what I love! I am currently a full time college student at Salisbury University. I am done my classes everyday after 12pm and am available anytime on the weekends. I can't wait to spend quality time with your fur babies. If my husband and I are driving down the road and I see a dog without an owner, he automatically pulls the car over so I can attempt to rescue and find their owner! I am the extreme dog lover who carries an extra set of leashes, water bowl, and treats in our car just in case. I grew up taking care of and training a German Shepherd and Sheltie. I have owned/and or fostered a few Golden Retrievers, Border Collie, Black Lab, and a Rat Terrier/Red Heeler mix. I love high energy dogs, have strong arms to handle pulling dogs, and enjoy leash training and teaching basic commands. I have also taken care of farms and multiple kinds of farm animals. About: I love dogs and up until 3 months ago I had a rescue dog for 8 years until she developed serious medical issuse and I had her euthanized. I miss here and she was spoiled and I will do the same for your dog. I will provide plenty of walks and a nice fenced in backyard where your pet can roam free to do whatever. I allowed my dog to have free roam of my house, and your pet will have the same freedom, and I have a nice porch where your pet can lay outside and enjoy the sights. I am 75 and a retired RN. I live alone so my schedule is very flexible, with the appropriate notification. I am an early riser so your pet will be let out back first thing in the morning, then - 2or 3 walks during the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a fenced in deck above the garage so your pet can be safe in either one of the locations.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals my entire life. I used to live on a farm with goats, horses, chickens, cats, and dogs. My favorite breed is a cocker spaniel. I currently work from home all day long so I am available for around the clock attention. Pets are like family members. We all engage with each other all the time. I take breaks often and play in the backyard with the pets. My kids also loves to experience new animals in the house. We also have a great neighborhood to walk the animals.
“Let me start by saying we’ve never left our dogs overnight let alone with a total stranger. We left for 9 days and have 3 dogs and I was so nervous and had a thousand questions and accommodations I needed fulfilled. Samantha was absolutely incredible. If I could give 100 stars I would. My dogs were so loved and cared for the entire time they were in her care. The pictures I got each day were just filled with joy in each of my dogs faces. If I could afford to send them there for playtime everyday I definitely would!!! Two of my dogs had stomach issues on the 5th day or so and she made them chicken and rice and pumpkin for their meals until they felt better. She trimmed their nails. She washed their bedding. I mean what more could you ask for?! Do not hesitate in sending your animals with her. She is the best of the best! I will be sending my dogs to her house anytime we go out of town… worry free!!”
