Because I don't own any pets of my own I'm able to assist pet owners when they're away from home. I often accept requests up to 3 months ahead of time but, if possible, I will accept same day requests. About: I have a certificate as a vet assistant. I also have lots of experience dog sitting and even have a pet rabbit. I have taken care of younger dogs, as well as older dogs. I will be continuing my education to become a veterinary technician! I have all summer to care and love on your animals! I have one week where I will be on vacation but other than that I would love to be there for your animals and provide the care and love that they need!!! I do not have a fenced yard, and I currently have a bunny too. So it would be better to be at your home or if needed I can keep them at my house and can be caged if needed to be.

About: For me I think it’s the fact that animals just warm up to me very quickly. I’ve had owners who are shocked when their pet who normally doesn’t like new people right away is wagging their tail and letting me pet them within minutes or when I send them pics of their pet on my lap or sleeping next to me! I’m also not intimidated easily, I don’t make a big deal if I get jumped on, etc. But overall I think just them seeing their pet content makes them feel at ease and they’ll give me a great review and use me again for future sits. I also try and send them lots of updates and pictures during the stay too! I am Very flexible and open!! I am currently unemployed but taking college classes at FCC, Therefore I am available everyday besides Monday’s and Wednesday’s I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and followed according to the owner’s instructions. I pay attention to feeding schedules, water, walks, and bathroom breaks. In someone else’s home, I respect their space, keep things clean, and make sure the pet stays calm and supervised. In my own home, I do the exact same for my fur babies as I would in others homes.

About: I recently lost my 14-year old bulldog and I am looking to reconnect with dogs before committing to another long term companion. I have experience with senior dog care, to include dogs with cancer and dementia. I work full-time from home. During the day, I would be able to offer 2 15 -minute bathroom visits/walks during my breaks from work. I also have flexibility when other needs arise. In the evenings, I am free to give your dog as much love and attention as they desire. I only accept 1 dog at a time (unless multiple dogs are from the same owner and the dogs are pair bonded). I was single handedly responsible for my own dog for 11 years before she died of old age, so I know what it takes to compassionately care for a dog. I have also watched my friends’ dogs and my parent’s dog for weeks at a time. Taking care of dogs is not a new experience for me. I work from home and have complete control over the flexibility of my schedule. I can take breaks from my work to attend to your dogs needs 2 times per day during my 15-minute breaks. I am free evenings. I can also use my breaks to give walks/pet stop-ins if within close proximity to my house. I am willing to take care of dogs who prefer free play in a fenced in yard or those that prefer longer leash walks or park outings. I have no problem with free roam in the house or crating, whichever fits best with the dog’s regular routine. I have a big fenced in back yard and live in a neighborhood with sidewalks and a park 1 block away. I also have a good relationship with a local vet in case of emergencies.
