About: I have raised my own dog since she was ten weeks old, mentored by my father who has raised three litters of puppies throughout his life. I have also done pet-sitting for friends and family for dogs as small as beagle puppies to as large as a Labrador. I am a Graduate student, but I manage to take six- mile walks every morning year-round. As my classes are in the evening, I can fit dog-walking into my schedule in the mornings and early afternoons. I am attentive and responsible for my pets needs, and take pride in ensuring that the animals I care for are happy and healthy. I have a nine-year-old mixed breed dog who enjoys her daily walks and sunbathing on the deck, but does not enjoy the company of other dogs very much.

About: I have over 45 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages as well as many other types of animals that have honored me with living with me over the years (cats, horses, guinea pigs, gecko, Madagascar hissing cockroach, parrots, flying squirrel, rabbits). About: My experience and education ensures the safety of animals of varying temperament levels and backgrounds. I enjoy the process of building trust and confidence with animals through approved training methods/mental enrichment activities and using non verbal cues in a playful and meaningful way. “Juan took great care of my pups while we were away for a few days — I received frequent photo updates, he took them on long walks, let them run freely at the dog park, and provided a comfy dog bed for their stay. I’m pretty sure my goldendoodle was disappointed to leave Juan and come back home, lol. When I picked them up they were the most calm, well-rested, and not dehydrated — it’s usually the opposite when I’ve picked them up from boarding or a sitter in the past. I’ll definitely book with Juan again in the future!”

About: I have recently relocated to Frederick, Maryland from California after recently retiring & wanting to be closer to family <3 I have over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits, including senior and special-needs pets and animals requiring medications. I currently have a French Bulldog, four cats, and a rabbit of my own, so caring for multiple animals with different personalities, routines, and needs is part of my everyday life. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed feeding and care instructions, providing walks and enrichment, and recognizing changes in an animal’s behavior or health. I’ve also volunteered with animal shelters in both California and North Carolina. I worked as a first responder for almost 14 years, I’m dependable, trustworthy, safety-conscious, and take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pets very seriously. I’m retired with a completely flexible schedule, so pet care can easily be accommodated throughout my day. I’m available mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays for boarding, doggy daycare, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I provide a safe, comfortable environment tailored to each pet’s individual needs and routine. I have a fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and plenty of indoor space, including separate areas when a visiting pet needs their own quiet space away from my animals. I’m experienced with medications, senior and special-needs pets, and will closely follow all feeding, exercise, medication, and care instructions. I will treat your animals as if they were my own while I am trusted with their care.
