Big yard and proximity to everything in a very quaint little town by the water. Our cats live upstairs on their own floor when we have guests, so no worries.
About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life and have over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for pets. Growing up, my mom had five dogs—some of which had puppies—and I helped raise and care for them. I’ve also cared for cats in multi-pet households, including feeding, litter box maintenance, and creating calm, safe environments for shy or senior cats. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets while they’re away. There is a room specifically designated in the house for the pet for the duration of the stay, which has toys, beds, food and water as well as a TV. it’s also a daybed for me as well so that I am able to stay in the room with your pet. My backyard is large and it’s open, however I will be keeping pers on-leash anytime they are outside.

“Candice was amazing with my dog, Nagi. This was the first trip my family and I had taken since getting her, so leaving her with someone new made us a little nervous at first. We chose Candice based on her profile and reviews, and she absolutely did not disappoint. My family and I were able to fully enjoy our spring break trip knowing our pup was in excellent hands. Candice provided lots of updates with pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind and made us feel connected to Nagi while we were away. Nagi decided she didn’t want to use the stairs for the first few days of her stay, but Candice was incredibly patient and treated her like one of her own pups the entire time. She even carried Nagi up and down the stairs until she felt comfortable enough to use them like she normally does. Halfway through Nagi’s 1 week stay, she started having an upset tummy. Candice went above and beyond by picking up medicine for her, feeding her boiled chicken and rice, and taking care of multiple accidents when Nagi couldn’t make it outside in time. Candice also has a pup of her own, Rayne, which made Nagi’s stay even more fun. It was clear Nagi had a wonderful time and felt comfortable there. When we picked her up, she looked so happy, relaxed, and content, which told me everything I needed to know about how well she was cared for. If we ever need a sitter again, I would absolutely book with Candice again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter.”

“Brigid took care of my senior girl, Chloe, for 4 nights. She was open to a last minute meet and greet. She accommodated Chloe’s senior needs, sent updates, and gave a nice verbal summary at how Chloe’s time went and included things she will miss about her. Chloe seemed content when I arrived, often going over to Brigid several times while we packed up all of her things into the car. About: As stated, I have an 8 almost 8 year old German Shepherd myself. I’ve trained him myself to be quite obedient off leash, to listen well, and overall he’s very well behaved. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, turtles and more so I know my way around animals. I’m currently enlisted in the United States Navy. I work at the Naval Academy typically from around 9 in the morning to about 3pm most days. I’m also married with two kids and my wife is a stay at home mom who can also look after your furry friends as well. I don’t work weekends so I’m always available during the weekends and can be flexible throughout the week as well. At my home my dog is never crated he is always out and house trained. However, when looking after your fur babies if they need to be crated I have no issue catering to your needs. I don’t have a yard but we have a massive field and live in a circle so long walks are always a must. Whatever the needs of your fur babies, I can take care of those from daily dog walking, spending and playing time with your animals, staying over night at yours/my place, and giving g medicine if needed.
