My home sits on 6 gorgeous acres of waterfront property in Princess Anne, Maryland, giving dogs plenty of space to roam and explore. I work from home, so your dog will be well watched and cared for while you’re away. Requirements Since my property is unfenced, I ask that all guests be: • House trained • Crate trained • Recall trained or e-collar trained • Up to date on flea & tick prevention Your dog won’t just be watched they’ll be on their own little vacation. 🐾 I work from home full time, I am extremely flexible and live on 6 acres of land that includes waterfront for your dog to join my dog dude in swimming and playing fetch in the yard. 6 acres are not fenced but I can walk on leash, tether to a lead or allow off leash if they have good recall/remote training. “Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

About: I have been house sitting animals for about a year now in my home town. I have house sat all different size dogs and cats and have even done week long house sitting for the animals. I just recently moved to college and stopped dog sitting but I am ready to continue doing what I love! I am currently a full time college student at Salisbury University. If it means getting up early to take a walk, that's what will happen. If I means getting out later in the afternoon for a walk, tha will be fine too. Pet care fits into my routine by me having a very opened schedule. I just moved to Easton, MD, so right now I'm looking to build a new client base here. While watching your pets in your home, I will always make sure I keep a watchful eye over them. I typically like to stay in an area that is open enough where I can see everything, but closed enough where the animal won't be out of site.

He loves it there and comes home happy and tired ( from playing with Riley) :) It's so clear that they like him as well. I am so happy we found a good place for Zeke to stay when I can't take him with me.”

About: I have my own dog and cat, and I love animals. I love to spend time with them and bond with them! You can always find me cuddled up with my cat haha I'm taking a college class from home so I'm available pretty much whenever! If you need me to stay at home, I can definitely do that! Again, I have my own cat and dog and they are very friendly. I am committed to making sure your pets feel safe and comfortable.

When unsupervised I keep the dogs in a ruffland crate for safety of your dog and the other dogs I have at the time. I live right by the river and love to take the dogs there to play in the water and the beach! I also have a gps collar that I put on every dog when I take them outside of my house for safety.
About: I’ve had dogs for all of my life and currently I have two of my own. I’ve gotten asked a lot to watch peoples dogs, and I always make sure that I prioritize their needs to make everyone happy. I do walk as much as I can and I run as well, I enjoy playing with the dogs and giving some belly rubs! I currently work part time and I make my schedule a week ahead of time so I plan accordingly for the needs of the pets. My schedule ranges all different times so I would be able to come let the dogs out or play with the cats in 2 to 4 hour intervals depending on my shifts which usually start in the late afternoon. I make sure that the pets needs are prioritized, and I make sure that anything the owner has requested of me to do for the pet will be met. If there are any messes, I will clean them up and if there are any specific instructions, I will follow to T.
