About: We are a dog loving household with a 8 year old super friendly jack russel of our own who loves playing with other dogs big or small. We both grew up around dogs big and small and love animals. We love going out back to playing catch and going on family walks to the park with the dog. When you board your dog with us rest assure they will be treated as part of the family. I am currently a SAHM so the dogs get lots of attention and playtime we have a fenced dog area in our backyard, allowing the dogs free range to run and play with eachother. we have also have a side of the house specifically blocked off just for the dogs in the case that they want to rest without being bothered. About: I have a lovely home in St Mary’s County with a fenced in back yard overlooking three acres. My family has always had dogs and it wouldn’t be home without them! We have three friendly beagle mixes, ages 2, 3 and 4. I worked full time for 28 years as a counselor for folks with disabilities and took an early retirement in order to be home for my middle school age son. About: I have taken care of animals for over a year now at a dog daycare/boarding centre in a variety of different circumstances. From Mastiff’s to Chihuahuas, I am confident taking care of various different sized dogs with a variety of different dietary needs from raw diets to kibble diets, medical needs from dogs that get medication once a day to dogs that get medication several times a day, and activity needs from dogs that need regular exercise to senior dogs that don’t need to be exercised. I have also had experience handling dogs that are extremely nervous around new people, dogs that can resource guard toys, and dogs that are highly reactive. I am a full-time commuter college student with large gaps between my morning and afternoon classes which I can travel to and from the owners house to let their dogs out and play with during. The only time that I am unable to stop by the house between classes is on Thursdays where I will be gone from 8 am to 2 pm due to my in-person lab course. I only offer services at my clients house so as of not to subject the pet to unnecessary stress from being in a new environment. I can administer any medication that is not via injection, I can cater to a variety of diets ranging from raw meat every day to freshly cooked food three times a day to kibble twice a day depending on the dogs needs, I have personal leashes that I can use or I can use the owners leashes to take the dog on walks as often as request/needed.

In early 2022, I started working at the doggy daycare/boarding facility I currently work at, and I am now a manager there. If I am not at work grooming dogs I am taking care of animals either at home or for a family while they are out of town. “When I picked up Jackson, I was not sure he wanted to leave his vacation with Kathryn and her wonderful family! Sure he was excited to see us, but, then he laid down next to Kathryn as if he was feeling pretty comfortable at her home! She sent photos and write ups daily and this made me feel so much better about leaving him in her care. It was like he knew the family forever! This was the first time we went away without him in 8 years so I was a bit anxious about leaving. I would have no problems leaving him again if I have another opportunity to do so. I highly recommend Kathryn and I know he was very happy being there and well cared for. He enjoyed his daily walks and never missed a meal and perhaps, Me!!!!
