“Ashley T. was terrific! With many years of experience, this mild-mannered, petite yet confident dog sitter immediately knew how to care for and manage my Giant Pyrenees Doodle- all 75 pounds of him. “When I picked up Jackson, I was not sure he wanted to leave his vacation with Kathryn and her wonderful family! Sure he was excited to see us, but, then he laid down next to Kathryn as if he was feeling pretty comfortable at her home! She sent photos and write ups daily and this made me feel so much better about leaving him in her care. It was like he knew the family forever! This was the first time we went away without him in 8 years so I was a bit anxious about leaving. I would have no problems leaving him again if I have another opportunity to do so. I highly recommend Kathryn and I know he was very happy being there and well cared for. He enjoyed his daily walks and never missed a meal and perhaps, Me!!!! If there were 10 stars I would click everyone of them!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Nikki! She treated my big baby just like her own and put up with me being overly cautious before Finn’s stay with her. She is excellent at communicating and sent lots of sweet messages and pictures while we were gone. I almost can’t console Finn because he misses her and her pups! He probably can’t wait for us to go away again so he can go visit Nikki.”

“Anika did an excellent job with my baby, October. She communicated with me throughout his stay with texts, photos, videos. October wasn’t quite ready to leave her, which makes me feel the love and care she has for my furbaby. I will definitely be using her in the future.”

About: Hello I am Maura! I grew up in a very large family and we always had a dog. I have had four dogs of my own. I have done pet sitting and fostering for families, friends and a dog rescue organization. My husband and I are passionate dog lovers with 30 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and ages. I'm reliable, responsible, and dedicated to providing a safe and loving environment for your furry family member. I’ve always been drawn to dogs and spent years volunteering for a dog rescue organization where I gained valuable experience in caring for dogs with a variety of needs. My husband volunteered with me and together we made several trips down south in a large van to rescue puppies from puppy mills or older dogs scheduled to be euthanized for sitting in shelter too long. I offer in-home pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-ins, and I'm happy to administer medication, provide playtime, and ensure your dog's comfort and well-being. I have a strong understanding of dog behavior and am happy to provide personalized care based on your dog's individual needs. My hasband and I are both home every day. I am available to care for dogs day or night. We are very active and include dogs in our daily life along the Potomac River. Spending time in the yard and walking around the neighborhood are part of my daily routine. My home is pet friendly with a large, fenced yard. Dogs are treated as family members. I am open minded and will listen carefully to any specific instructions provided to me for your furry friend.

“John was fantastic! He kept us updated on what was going on at home and sent us pictures of the pets each day. He made sure the cats and Guiana pig didn’t miss a step in their routine while we were out of town. Fantastic experience! We will use him again.”

“TOP ENDORSEMENT: Pet care is Kimberly's career. This dedication & training are evident in her professional in-person demeanor and ease with animals. Kimberly sat my two male, semi-feral cats for a week and I couldn't be happier with her care. Food, water, and litterbox cleaning was EXACTLY as I asked. The aloof, don't-touch-me cat now adores her. She was even kind enough to water my money tree and stack my mail. Her expertise and depth of experience enabled me to travel completely WORRY FREE. Highly recommend!”

“This is the second time we've had Leah do drop-in visits to medicate our cats and refill food/clean litter. She is reliable and willing to go the extra mile to find hiding cats and make sure they get their meds!”

About: I have taken care of animals for over a year now at a dog daycare/boarding centre in a variety of different circumstances. From Mastiff’s to Chihuahuas, I am confident taking care of various different sized dogs with a variety of different dietary needs from raw diets to kibble diets, medical needs from dogs that get medication once a day to dogs that get medication several times a day, and activity needs from dogs that need regular exercise to senior dogs that don’t need to be exercised. I have also had experience handling dogs that are extremely nervous around new people, dogs that can resource guard toys, and dogs that are highly reactive. I am a full-time commuter college student with large gaps between my morning and afternoon classes which I can travel to and from the owners house to let their dogs out and play with during. The only time that I am unable to stop by the house between classes is on Thursdays where I will be gone from 8 am to 2 pm due to my in-person lab course. I only offer services at my clients house so as of not to subject the pet to unnecessary stress from being in a new environment. I can administer any medication that is not via injection, I can cater to a variety of diets ranging from raw meat every day to freshly cooked food three times a day to kibble twice a day depending on the dogs needs, I have personal leashes that I can use or I can use the owners leashes to take the dog on walks as often as request/needed.

“Vanessa was quick to respond to my messages on Rover before, during and after her in-home visit with my cat, Skittles! She sent lots of photos, showed Skittles love, and made sure she was fed and had clean litter. When my cat escaped from the lower level to the master bedroom, she even tried to get her to return, unfortunately, with no success. Concerned I had left something out that would be dangerous to Skittles, Vanessa offered to return to our house and make sure it was safe... so sweet! Would recommend Vanessa to anyone and will use her again!”

“Ben was very reliable and trusting about checking on my kitties everyday while I was away. He asked relevant questions and seemed to genuinely care about their well-being.”

“Breanna is AMAZING with my big baby boy 🐕!!! We are beyond Lucky to have found her! She goes above and beyond and is like a Dog Whisperer lol! My German Shepherd LOVES her and she’s his new bestie. I hope I can keep Breanna forever! 5 stars Highly recommend- she’s Wonderful!! 😁”

One thing I especially appreciate is her excellent communication throughout the entire stay. She keeps me updated with plenty of pictures and detailed information about my dog’s day, including walks, potty breaks, meals, and activities. I never have to wonder how things are going because she makes sure I’m kept in the loop. English is reliable, attentive, caring, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. Her updates give me so much peace of mind while I’m away, and I always feel confident knowing my dog is happy, comfortable, and well cared for. About: Hi! I’m Haley, a stay at home mom and lifelong animal lover who understands that pets are family not just animals. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away, so you can enjoy your time knowing they’re in caring hands. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up in a family that rescued animals, and my mom has worked in the veterinary field her entire career. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom to my three little ones, I spent years working in animal hospitals, where I gained experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. That background taught me how important patience, consistency, and attention to detail are when it comes to caring for animals. At home, we have three playful kittens and a friendly dog, so your pet will be staying with someone who truly understands their needs. We also have a large backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and get plenty of exercise. I know every pet is different, which is why I do my best to stick to their normal routine. Whether that means feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, walks, cuddle time, or simply giving them space to relax! I’ll care for your pet the way you do at home. I believe keeping their routine as consistent as possible helps reduce stress and makes them feel comfortable. When your pet stays with me, they’ll be treated like part of the family. I’ll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, and updates while you’re away so you always know they’re happy and well cared for. I know how hard it can be to trust someone with your furry family member, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’d be honored to care for your pet and provide them with a safe, loving home away from home. I am currently a stay at home mom to four children, I am available almost 24/7 to be able to care for your pet, and have a very flexible schedule I have a decent sized yard, it is not fenced in but your pet will never be left unsupervised outside. I am a firm believer that pets are family and will be treated as such. There is no limitations on where your pet will be allowed to go in my home. They want to jump up on the couch for some snuggles? Go right ahead. Feel more comfortable at night in my room? Come right on in. The way your pet is cared for at your home is how they will be treated here.
“Lilian (Lily) was so kind, caring and patient with my kilo💙 Her communication was great the entire stay! She kept me updated and sent me pictures throughout the day. “My dog had a wonderful overnight stay! They were well cared for, happy, and relaxed when I picked them up. Great communication throughout, and I felt very comfortable leaving my pup in their hands. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!”

“Corey and Monica were very friendly and took great care of Pepper. They sent photos throughout the day which I appreciated. They were accomodating and willing to work with me with some of Peppers anxiety issues. Will definitely be bringing Pepper back for future daycare :)”

“I recently adopted Daisey and wasn't sure how she would do in daycare. Lindsay did an excellent job of caring for her and helped Daisey to settle into a new environment and enjoy the experience. She regularly sent me updates and photos of Daisey which helped put my mind at ease. Lindsay provided excellent care and I will definitely use her services again.”

In our home, we follow a loving and consistent routine to ensure every pup feels safe, happy, and well-cared for. I will provide a safe, caring, and loving environment for your pets so you’re worry free while away from them! Currently between jobs and am a full time online college student. So I am pretty flexible!! If something doesn’t work i’ll just make that clear but I do not have many scheduled things in my day to day. I don’t mind doing feeding, walking, play time! Also don’t mind light clean up if they make a mess while you are gone. My dogs are kind of crazy so I understand messes happen! My dogs have an open back yard but if your dog is trained to walk I will be happy to take them out that way. My dogs get plenty of play time mainly with each other but i’ve done plenty of play time with them myself and can incorporate that with you dogs if they require play time! I also have dealt with older and sick dogs so I know how to be gentle and handle that. I have also had my own cat and watched others, I adore cats. Mine was sick for a while so i’m familiar with oral medication for cats and soothing cats’ anxieties as mine suffered heavily from unknown anxiety.

“Tina was fantastic! She sent me text messages, pictures, and videos of my Boston Terrier, Lee Lee. Tina took Lee Lee to the local dog park for exercise and cuddled with her in the evenings. I don't think my dog missed me at all. I will definitely use Tina in the future.”

“Megan was absolutely wonderful! I knew from the moment I read her profile that she would be the best, most qualified, and best match for my fur baby. I can not thank her enough for hosting my Rudy. She kept me informed with messages and pictures during his stay which really put me at ease and let me know we made the right decision. I will be a repeat customer.”

“BRITTANY AND HER FAMILY MADE US AND OUR FUR BABY VERY COMFORTABLE. not only did she Initiate a meet a greet too make sure she was a good fit for our dog she was ready with all the right questions regarding his care. She sent pictures and updates regularly making us very at ease leaving him for a week! We will definitely be using Brittany again for care in the future!”

“We love Melissa! Been repeat boarders with her, and my dog gets excited when we turn down her street. She has been great with my works trips and sometimes last minute scheduling changes.”

“Alicia and Randy are wonderful pet hosts!!! The care, attention, professionalism, follow up, and the love they have for their furry clients are just a few examples of superior work. You can instantly tell that they have a genuine love for animals, my Lola was treated with love and great care. I recommend Alicia to anyone that is looking for a safe and loving place for their pets stay. Thank you a million times Alicia, Randy, and their pets Cruz and Azalea for opening your house for Lola.”

“Larissa is so sweet and accommodating her and her husband always takes such good care of all our pups. My boyfriend even has a bad hip and is slow to get out of the car so they come out to the car and help get the dogs so he doesn’t have to struggle. They know what family is like and they treat you as such the pups were always joyful We fed and loved when they come home.”

“Connie was able to accommodate a last minute booking request. She took excellent care of my pups and sent many pics during their stay. I could tell they were happy and well taken care of! I will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Elizabeth was an amazing sitter for my Pyrenees/Golden mix! I could tell he genuinely appreciated her company and will remember her forever now! She was very patient with him, as he struggles with stairs. Her communication was also excellent throughout. I was 1000 miles away but receiving pictures and daily updates really help assure me that Joni was having a nice time. Thanks again!!”

“Aaron & Tia took great care of my Frenchie Bella. She had an initial knee injury that required crate rest and very limited activity and their willingness to accommodate our needs at the last minute for an extended (18 day) stay was beyond amazing. After the meet and greet with Aaron and their amazing soon I felt even more at ease. Prior to her stay, Bella was stung in the eye and was required eye drops in addition to the knee injury. Aaron wasn't phased by the additional special needs. While on travel in Asia, I received almost daily pics and a video. I could tell she was having a great time. She also needed to lose a few pounds to help with her knee injury and Aaron and Tia returned Bella in tip top shape and a few pounds lighter. She is off of her pain meds for her knee and her eye is healed. I can't thank them enough. When I met with them they only had a few reviews and I wasn't deterred. This is proof that the # of reviews does not determine the type of love and care your pup receives. I will be using their services again and again very soon.”

“Atiyana is a lifesaver! She took our last minute request to board our boy. She kept us updated while we were away and I know our boy had an awesome time. Will use her again ❤️”

“Lilian was so kind and welcoming! I loved that she kept me updated everyday with pictures and videos. She took such great care of my puppy Nova over the weekend. Nova had so much fun running around she came home and went to bed 😂. We will definitely be back! Thank you!!”

“Linda was great with our dog! She was very responsive and sent pictures. We could tell he had a blast with her dogs, as he napped the entire evening when we brought him home.”
