“Boarding with Ellen was outstanding. We had a family emergency that made taking our large dog with us impossible. He’s five-years old and had never been away from home - I am sure it was challenging for him. While not aggressive or disobedient, at about 120lbs he can be intimidating. Ellen was clearly very comfortable with him during our meet and greet visit and was very confident he’d be fine with her. He absolute was! She made him very at home on her beautiful farmette with her pack of critters. They all looked clean and loved. I noted her calmness with the dogs and confidence in their interaction under her watchful eye. The dogs have plenty of space to run and socialize. She made sure we gave her his “regular” food and medications, and verified other foods he would be allowed to have. She sent regular updates and photos during his stay. Each action shot was accompanied by a thoughtful narrative of the photo. We really enjoyed pictures of his quiet time, napping with the other dogs in her home was comforting. They all looked content. We needed an extra day of boarding because of the unpredictability of our travel and Ellen made it so easy. Our dog made new friends and we did too.”

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats. We do tend to spoil them. I have lots of room for them to run and play in our fenced in yard. We walk them on a leash through our nearby cemetery. About: I have a 12 year old goldendoodle named Taffy who I have raised since she was a puppy. I have walked dogs and house sat for friends and family since I was young and will always take the opportunity to spend time with animals of all kinds! I recently graduated from UMD and I am taking a summer class to finish up my double degree. Otherwise my schedule should be fairly open and I should have plenty of time to take care of your pets. I can follow any directions needed for caring for your fur babies. I can go for long walks to provide exercise, play (of course), cuddle, reinforce tricks/training, administer oral medicine, etc.. Just ask and I will probably be willing to accommodate any requests! I always make sure that your pet has access to fresh water and feed according to instructions.
About: Ever since I was a little kid, I have felt connected to animals. I have had and taken care of dogs since I was 10. When I went away to college without my dogs, I realized how necessary doggie love was to my happiness. This led me to volunteering at the local SPCA walking dogs. Now, I am back home working at a doggy daycare. Caring for animals makes me feel fulfilled and I would love to share this love with your furry friend! I currently work part-time so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available both in the mornings and evenings. I care deeply for all living beings around me and believe they are all deserving of love and care. About: I have had dogs all my life. I currently have 3 dog's now and just enjoy their company because they make me happy. We like them more than people at times. A dog will always be in my life. Even have tattoo of 3 my best camping buddies I have currently retired from government serves after 36 years. Now I have fun jobs. Dog sitting and DJing. I have no kids just dogs , but my dogs and your dogs are my kids and I just love love having new joys to watch. I had 5 doggies at one time,but we are now down to 3 pups. I will always have fur babies as part of my life. I care for my pets as if they were my kids. I have no kids. So they are spoiled. Even when I watch other people’s dogs they are treated better than their own homes they don’t want to go back. Our own pets are under my Carroll county kennel Lic #60 Pryors pawls palace! Your pets are treated as if they are mine. Big yard to play in and to play with my dogs if they like them. If they don’t I have plenty of rooms to keep them safe. And if your the type that would prefer to have someone stay at your place so you dog doesn’t get upset i can work with you as well and follow all your dogs needs. I’ll even pick your mail up and take your trash out.
About: Ive been taking care of my neighbors, friends, and families pets for a little over 6 years now. Over the years I have learned many things about pets and how to calm them down and gently direct them in the right path. I also have lots of experience with senior dogs who need more attention to detail than younger dogs. Pet care fits into my daily routine quite well. Im a sophomore at frederick community college taking only one in person class, so my hours are almost always completely available! I am the dominant pet care taker in my home with two dogs (my angels). I care for pets in my clients home by greeting them and let them get to know me. If the client has a fenced in yard for me to take the dogs out and play thats amazing, but if not I take the dogs for nice walk to get them exercise and some entertainment. About: I have taken care of all different types of animals for years including different type of dogs ranging from corgis to australian shepard’s weather it was mine or a family members. This may include taking your dogs for daily walks, playing with them, making sure they are fed, bathing them, cleaning up any potty accidents, and spending quality time with them to keep company while their owners are away. For cats this may include keeping their litter boxes clean, making sure they are fed of course, playing with them, and quality time as well. I rely on clients to give me information on their pets routines so the pets themselves aren't as confused with a new person taking care of them.

“Matthew was extremely flexible and patient managing the needs of our Siberian Husky, Bristol. He showed experience and good instincts managing Bristol's challenging behavior. We asked him to take Bristol for 30 minute walks each day and Matthew went above & beyond that request to make sure Bristol got sufficient exercise. About: I've been around animals my whole life. From the littlest of fish, to the largest of cows and other farm animals! I have 3 dogs of my own, two Colorado mountain dogs and a medium pittie mix. I also have 4 geckoes (2 leopards, a giant Madagascar day gecko, and my newest boy, a harlequin crested gecko!). I've dog-sat little dogs, big dogs, disabled and elderly dogs, as well as young pups and households with multiple animals! I will give you the best care, whether it be for your pets, home, or more! Right now I work part-time at a bakery on Sundays, and I am also a full-time college student! Thankfully, my schedule is very flexible and my attention will solely be on your furry friends. I always make sure to keep my client's homes clean and organized, and pay special attention to any extra tasks I'm giving, such as watering plants (I have dozens of plant babies!), changing the temperature, emptying dehumidifiers, and retrieving packages. Anything you need, I will do to the best of my abilities! I like to update my clients daily on their pets to ease their mind.
About: I have always had animals from reptiles, ferrets, dogs, cats and everything in between. I know life happens and sometimes we need help in giving them the love and care they need! “Boarding with Ellen was outstanding. We had a family emergency that made taking our large dog with us impossible. He’s five-years old and had never been away from home - I am sure it was challenging for him. While not aggressive or disobedient, at about 120lbs he can be intimidating. Ellen was clearly very comfortable with him during our meet and greet visit and was very confident he’d be fine with her. He absolute was! She made him very at home on her beautiful farmette with her pack of critters. They all looked clean and loved. I noted her calmness with the dogs and confidence in their interaction under her watchful eye. The dogs have plenty of space to run and socialize. She made sure we gave her his “regular” food and medications, and verified other foods he would be allowed to have. She sent regular updates and photos during his stay. Each action shot was accompanied by a thoughtful narrative of the photo. We really enjoyed pictures of his quiet time, napping with the other dogs in her home was comforting. They all looked content. We needed an extra day of boarding because of the unpredictability of our travel and Ellen made it so easy. Our dog made new friends and we did too.”
“I usually don't leave reviews but I have to this time. Renee is amazing! We found ourselves needing a sitter for our 7 month old Golden Doodle for a week. I had never used the Rover app OR a dog boarding service before. I found Renee using the Star Sitters filter and I am so grateful to her. She was patient with all of my questions (before, during, and after the meeting and greet!) and immediately put my mind at ease. You can tell she has a lot of experience with dogs and has a very calm but assertive demeanor with them that made me confident she could handle our amped up puppy. While we were away she sent us pictures and updates regularly without me asking so I was never worried about how he was. He even made friends at her house to play with! After bringing him home I could tell she kept him on his routine and he is doing great. I can't recommend her enough!”
