About: I love cats! I grew up with cats, worked with shelter cats, stray cats, kittens and elderly cats, you name it. Working with cats is about respecting boundaries and remembering to wear long sleeves (claws a not always meant to be unkind after all, especially with kittens).

About: Hello! My name is Terri but I usually go by T. I have owned both dogs and cats my entire life. Ive worked as a supervisor at 2 boarding and daycare facilities over the course of 4 years until I ultimately moved into veterinary medicine as a technician at a specialty clinic! So I have a lot of experience and am comfortable around all breeds,sizes, ages, and most (stable) medical conditions. About: I’ve grown up around all sorts of breeds my entire life. I’ve learned different demeanors and picked up on different signs of when a dog is scared or even uncomfortable. I used to volunteer at the SPCA and a pet store when I was still in highschool. Now I am starting college in the spring for vet tech! I work Monday-Friday in ridgely md from 8:15-3:30. I am able to walk dogs on the weekends and anytime after work. If your dog is able to not use the potty for a longer period then I’m able to board during the week! My German shepherd has frequent upset stomachs so it’s always chicken and rice for her. About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life and have over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for pets. Growing up, my mom had five dogs—some of which had puppies—and I helped raise and care for them. I’ve also cared for cats in multi-pet households, including feeding, litter box maintenance, and creating calm, safe environments for shy or senior cats. About: I have two cats of my own who I adore. I frequently help take care of relatives' and neighbors dogs. My own black lab recently passed and taking care of other dogs is enjoyable and therapeutic. I am a teacher and home by early afternoon . My husband is home all day and helps take care of fur babies in our home while I’m at work. I am free in the evenings and weekends to help care of your fur babies! I can give oral medications, follow your training rules, walk large dogs, handle dogs that aren’t friendly with strangers, high anxiety, and have disabilities (ex. Deaf, blind). I’d like to be able to support other people who need assistance. During the week your dog won’t be left alone for more than an hour depending on drop off and pick up time. During the weekend your dog won’t be left longer than 3-4 hours depending. We can always communicate your dogs specific needs to accommodate! I have a fenced yard in our home and a friendly, playful 2 year old male lab (fixed). If your dog is in my home, they do need to be friendly with other dogs. About: I’ve had dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of who I am. Over the years I’ve owned and cared for many different breeds and personalities, including Saint Bernards, Great Danes, and Coonhounds, which gave me plenty of experience handling large and giant-breed dogs. I’ve also shared my home with multiple cats over the years—many of them seniors—so I understand the patience, routine, and gentle care older pets often need. I’ve spent years fostering animals as well, frequently working with senior pets and dogs that may be anxious or slow to trust new people. I pride myself on being patient and letting animals warm up to me at their own pace so they can feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. My home currently includes an Alaskan Klee Kai and a Border Collie mix, so daily life already revolves around exercise, enrichment, and making sure dogs stay happy and engaged. When I travel, my trips are often pet-focused—I’ve driven cross-country multiple times with my dogs to explore new trails, parks, and adventures together. Ive worked as a supervisor at 2 boarding and daycare facilities over the course of 4 years until I ultimately moved into veterinary medicine as a technician at a specialty clinic! So I have a lot of experience and am comfortable around all breeds,sizes, ages, and most (stable) medical conditions. I’ve always had a special place in my heart for animals and promise to provide the best care possible to ensure that your fur baby gets all the love he or she deserves. About: I absolutely love animals. I currently have a black lab and I love to just spend time cuddling with her, or going for long walks. If possible, I try to bring her along (assuming they get along at the meet and greet). I’ve noticed that dogs can wear each other out a lot faster than I can, and probably have more fun doing it too. Maddie gets along with everyone and just loves to meet someone new. For your dog, I will treat him/her as my own. I will play with them and take them for walks. I have no problems cleaning up messes, sometimes accidents happen. Let me love and take care of your pet so you don't have to worry about them during the day. Why I love dog sitting I've always been an animal lover. I've had dogs all my life and had two of my own. They truly are the best things that ever happened to me. I’m very active, so I would spend as much time outside as possible with your fur baby. My experience administering medication: I am fine with administering medication, but would like to have the owner show me the correct way of doing it before I start.
About: I lived around both dogs and cats my whole life, with both family and roommates, and I absolutely love it. While I'm not in the position to have my own furry friend at the moment, I love to care for animals. I spent about a year (2025) volunteering with the MCACAC shelter cats and dogs in Christiansburg, including participating in their training courses, and now feel confident bringing that experience to work with pets that already have found their families as well. I'm currently job hunting, so my schedule is extremely flexible and I am available throughout the day. I am occasionally out of town for travel or job-search related activities. About: I have been a pet care attendant at a dog kennel for two years now. My responsibilities include feeding, walking, playing, bathing/grooming, and administering medications for animals. I have training in dog behavior as well as any medical needs of animals. I also come from a veterinary medical background and have watched and walked dogs for members of my community for many years.
