I honestly don’t think Dodger realized he was being “boarded.” He thought he was on vacation with his new cousins, new uncles, and his new favorite person on earth (Dan 😆). From the minute we dropped him off, Jess was so reassuring and kind. She sent constant updates, pictures, and little stories that made my heart feel so much better. And not just “here’s your dog existing” pictures…NO. We’re talking: *Dodger cuddling her husband like they’ve been best buds for 10 years *Dodger snuggled up with her youngest like they were watching Saturday morning cartoons *Dodger and Tanner acting like long-lost brothers reunited *Dodger eating, relaxing, wagging his tail like a helicopter blade *Dodger getting a whole spa bath after rolling in the yard mud 😭💀 He even chewed through a Kong, which honestly deserves its own award. I warned her he was a super chewer, but I don’t think ANYONE was ready for him to destroy the “indestructible” toy. She just laughed and sent pictures like, “Welp, he’s having the time of his life.” 😂 The whole time she made sure I felt comfortable…even when my baby stole my phone and I panicked thinking I missed messages 😅 She was patient, flexible, and genuinely cared about him AND about us. Dodger came home happy, clean, tired, and FULL of love. His tail literally didn’t stop wagging the entire stay. And I’m pretty sure he thinks Jess’s house is his second home now…which I’m honestly fine with, because I know he’s safe and adored there. Jess and her whole family are wonderful, warm people. They treated Dodger like he belonged with them, and that’s all a dog mom could ever want. We will definitely be booking again (unless Dan steals him permanently 😂). I feed them every morning and night or make sure the food bowl is full depending on how the client feeds their dogs. I give them any medicine or joint tablets that they need to be well. I let them out multiple times a day whenever they need it. And I try to play with and pet them as much as I can while I’m there so they don’t miss their humans too much. A neighbor left mail on our porch and an outdoor ornament blew off our house. He notified us on both issues. The ornaments were brought in and he checked our community mailbox to confirm our mail was being held by USPS. I work weekdays from 8 AM to 3 PM, which allows me to be available for evening visits during the week and fully available on weekends. This schedule gives me the flexibility to provide consistent, attentive care—whether it’s for evening walks, feeding, or full-day care on Saturdays and Sundays. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and low-stress environment. In my home, pets are treated like family—with plenty of affection, structured routines, and supervised play. I ensure regular feeding, bathroom breaks, and exercise, tailored to each pet’s needs. In a client’s home, I respectfully follow their established routines to help pets feel secure in their familiar surroundings. I’m attentive to each animal’s behavior and comfort, and I’m always focused on providing consistent, reliable care.
About: Although my family has never owned a dog, I have always loved taking care of my aunts, neighbors, and family friends dogs. I always make sure to pay attention to detail when watching a dog and meet each dogs needs whether that be a walk, playing with a toy, belly rubs, or even just relaxing. As a part-time graduate student at USM, I will have time during the day for a dog walk, or to check-in on your pup! I will be available on most weekends for house and dog sitting. I am available to come to your dog and stay with him/her so they do not have to move out of their comfortable environment and stay at a new space with new people.

I prefer to let the client tell me exactly what they want for their pet. I like to keep your life as simple as possible while giving you peace of mind by following any requests you have. If you need your animal crated, if you want them roaming, whatever is asked you can expect to be done.
About: I have 6 years of experience taking care of 4 cats and my dog!! I can feed, give water, take walks, scoop boxes, and entertain with toys. I am also excellent with anxious pets and those who need a little extra care and love. I have a gentle voice and will always try to be aware of your pets' comfort level before approaching. I am currently in college, so I go to class various times during the week! Because of this, I may need to adjust arrival times depending on my class schedule and what days you need me for. About: Dog owners and their dogs will love many things about the care that I provide. First, I have always shown love and care to every dog that I have met and all these dogs have responded in a positive manner. Second, I believe in a healthy lifestyle for my dogs (as well as myself, haha) and take my dogs for walks everyday, and feeding them their recommended portion of dog food with minimal people food. Third, keeping my dogs on a daily routine helps tremendously as well as their owners. Growing up I have had a Schnauzer (Mickey), Springer Spaniel (Snickers), Springer Spaniel (Princess), two box turtles (Fred and Wilma), and currently own two Puggles (Liberty & Bell). All the dogs I have trained to not go to the bathroom in the house, and many tricks. I work full-time (7am-330pm) and I am available Monday-Friday before 7am and after 330pm. I honestly don’t think Dodger realized he was being “boarded.” He thought he was on vacation with his new cousins, new uncles, and his new favorite person on earth (Dan 😆). From the minute we dropped him off, Jess was so reassuring and kind. She sent constant updates, pictures, and little stories that made my heart feel so much better. And not just “here’s your dog existing” pictures…NO. We’re talking: *Dodger cuddling her husband like they’ve been best buds for 10 years *Dodger snuggled up with her youngest like they were watching Saturday morning cartoons *Dodger and Tanner acting like long-lost brothers reunited *Dodger eating, relaxing, wagging his tail like a helicopter blade *Dodger getting a whole spa bath after rolling in the yard mud 😭💀 He even chewed through a Kong, which honestly deserves its own award. I warned her he was a super chewer, but I don’t think ANYONE was ready for him to destroy the “indestructible” toy. She just laughed and sent pictures like, “Welp, he’s having the time of his life.” 😂 The whole time she made sure I felt comfortable…even when my baby stole my phone and I panicked thinking I missed messages 😅 She was patient, flexible, and genuinely cared about him AND about us. Dodger came home happy, clean, tired, and FULL of love. His tail literally didn’t stop wagging the entire stay. And I’m pretty sure he thinks Jess’s house is his second home now…which I’m honestly fine with, because I know he’s safe and adored there. Jess and her whole family are wonderful, warm people. They treated Dodger like he belonged with them, and that’s all a dog mom could ever want. We will definitely be booking again (unless Dan steals him permanently 😂). Thank you, Jess, for loving our boy so well. He misses you all already! ❤️🐾 P.s thank you for being so accommodating and helpful with his bath, I loved getting to pick him up early and snuggle him with us the moment he came home🥹💕”
