The pictures Melissa sent as we were gone made me happy to see that he was getting spoiled and was having great naps and playtime. I have taken care of friends pets before while they were traveling, including feeding and playing with both cats and dogs, walking dogs and helping in the crate training process, and cleaning litter boxes. I am flexible with my time right now and looking to spend time outside during the day, or time inside with a cute kitty! I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to hang with your pets! I am able to build my schedule week by week depending on my preferences, so if you have a request, send it my way and I’ll see if I can make it work. For visits, I feel it should be your rules in your home. On a baseline, I leave a place better than I found it, I will clean up after your pet and myself before I leave! I like to know where a pet likes to spend time and a general daily routine before a visit too (if mom or dad says dinner is at 5 I won’t be so easily fooled by a begging puppy). Overall, each pet and owner is unique so my biggest priority is communication!

My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away, so you can enjoy your time knowing they’re in caring hands. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up in a family that rescued animals, and my mom has worked in the veterinary field her entire career. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom to my three little ones, I spent years working in animal hospitals, where I gained experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. That background taught me how important patience, consistency, and attention to detail are when it comes to caring for animals. At home, we have three playful kittens and a friendly dog, so your pet will be staying with someone who truly understands their needs. We also have a large backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and get plenty of exercise. I know every pet is different, which is why I do my best to stick to their normal routine. Whether that means feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, walks, cuddle time, or simply giving them space to relax! I’ll care for your pet the way you do at home. I believe keeping their routine as consistent as possible helps reduce stress and makes them feel comfortable. When your pet stays with me, they’ll be treated like part of the family. “Jalisa was very helpful with my dog. I was in town for work and she walked my dog each day and made sure she had something to drink at the end of the walk. She provided pictures and updates throughout their time together. She was willing to meet me on the day that I arrived in town so my dog would be familiar with her on the next day when she would have to get her without me being home. She was accommodating although it was a last minute booking. I would definitely use her again.”

“Leo had an amazing time with Melissa and her family. She had her dogs which kept him busy and happy as he loves to play with others and he got plenty of cuddles. We did a meet and greet with the pups a week before the boarding to ensure wveryone got along well and i could already tell leo was in great hands and Melissa even assured me there would always be someone there just in case. The pictures Melissa sent as we were gone made me happy to see that he was getting spoiled and was having great naps and playtime. She updated me daily and ensured Leo was fed exactly what was needed and we would definitely love to have Leo come "sleepover" again.”

About: I am an animal lover who has taken care of my own as well as friends and families pets for years. My family has cared for dogs, cats, chickens, goats, snakes, frogs, geckos, chinchillas. I am a stay at home mom, so my time is very flexible. I am able to keep pets to their daily schedules and routines. My property is ideal for a doggy vacay, we have a newly fenced in valley, a forest to explore, 2 dogs companions (can keep separate upon request), lots of squirrels to chase, and plenty to love to go around! I am able to provide an attentive home environment that a pet is used to.

“My dog Moon loved his visit with Denise and her dog Andy. Decent size fenced in yard for play, which my dog loved. Updates and pictures were sent. Moon even ate his food while there which he rarely does even for his normal sitter. I should mention she is very accommodating. I was a last minute request and my hours for pickup and drop-off were odd. Would definitely use Denise again.”

“Aaron and Tia will forever be my go to person for pet-sitting. I have a 4 month old French bulldog and he seems to be at home with them and I love how they communicate and send videos and pictures of my fur baby while I'm away. They definitely are educated about pets and what is needed, because they educated me about how to train my puppy. They are very welcoming and family/pet oriented.”
