“We were looking for someone to care for our Luna who would treat her like one of their own and keep her safe while we were away on vacation, and we found that person in Brittany. Her love for animals of all kinds and sizes is obvious and we are so grateful to have found a place like Safe Hayven Fields. The property is a perfect getaway with a large fenced in yard for running and playing, and the pool for pups that like to swim. Brittany is such a great caretaker, sending us daily photos and updates, even going above and beyond to replace Luna's bed when another pup made a hole in hers! We will be back and look forward to having Luna spend more time on the farm 💜”

Upon my arrival home kitty was calm, very content , and had an extensive grooming! My home was exceptionally clean with the removal of litter and cat food cans. Jen met me before the sitting dates and she was extremely knowledgeable . She has tons of common sense--- You will not need to give her pages of instruction. She GETS IT ! In addition, my plants were watered during this 94 degree weather , mail was placed neatly inside, and trash cans were taken to the curb . Photos are sent to you at each visit. About: I own It takes a village animal rescue, though I am taking a 2 year break, I have had 451 dogs come through my rescue in the last 10 years. I can help with house training, and basic puppy skills. I have probably had about 100 plus puppies in the last 10 years. I have a facebook account for the rescue and you can see all that My Volunteers and I have done over the years. Dogs must be neutered or spayed. Pet care has been a way of life for me for the last 13 years, I own an animal rescue but am taking a 2 year hiatus, but miss having dogs around all day. My Experience: Beyond being a cat and dog mom, I have years of experience with long term cat and dog sitting. I am experienced and comfortable with any age of pet, from puppies/kittens to senior animals. I have some basic experience with training from my own pets. My Schedule: Until my summer ends, I am available almost daily. Once school starts, I am available on weekends and week day evenings. During these times, I can do check ins, feedings, walks, play times, or overnights. I am comfortable with week day overnights, if your pet is able to be alone during my typical 8 hour work day. About: Growing up, my family has always had pets whether they were dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs, hermit crabs or fish. This inspired me to receive my Associates degree in Veterinary Technology in 2024 at Del Tech then sit for and pass the VTNE to become an LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician). I love animals dearly and would be happy to care for your pets during the day when their beloved ones are away from the house. I will care for your pet(s) as if they were my own! Whether we go for a walk together, run around the yard, give them a quick meal or just provide general companionship, I look forward to meeting your furbabies! I do have a full time job as a veterinary technician which leaves me unavailable every Monday and Friday but I do have availability other days of the week so be sure to send in a request so I can review it! I aim to be transparent and flexible with all customers about my availability. While at your home, I will watch your pets carefully to assure they are being safe while getting to spend time outside or just receiving some companionship. I will be sure to fill all food and water bowls (if applicable) before I leave to ensure your pets have access to basic needs.
About: When I was around 8 I started volunteering at a barn simply because I loved to be around animals. I was constantly walking my neighbors dogs and my own. I now work at a boarding facility where I take care of dogs and cats. I love it and enjoy nothing more than making sure your pets are happy and cared for when you are not able to be there all the time. My friends and neighbors often ask me to watch their pets when they are away. My family currently has 3 rescue dogs, a cat and 3 horses. I look forward to the opportunity of caring for your fur babies!! I am going into my freshman year of community college and love the opportunity to be able to do something that I love in my free time I currently have 3 dogs that get along really well with each other and other dogs. I pay very close attention to how dogs act around each other and their environment to ensure they are safe.
About: I have lots of compassion when it comes to animals, and I have years of experience working for cat/dog rescues as well as pet transports, I currently have a four day weekend at my current job and have way too much free time! I also have no problem with early mornings or late nights! I have two small dogs that I take for a couple walks a day, and I Help prepare their food which is home made and all natural. I also have a cat with urinary tract issues so I’m used to keeping their litter boxes spotless.
