I grew up in a family that rescued animals, and my mom has worked in the veterinary field her entire career. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom to my three little ones, I spent years working in animal hospitals, where I gained experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. That background taught me how important patience, consistency, and attention to detail are when it comes to caring for animals. At home, we have three playful kittens and a friendly dog, so your pet will be staying with someone who truly understands their needs. We also have a large backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and get plenty of exercise. I know every pet is different, which is why I do my best to stick to their normal routine. Whether that means feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, walks, cuddle time, or simply giving them space to relax! I’ll care for your pet the way you do at home. I believe keeping their routine as consistent as possible helps reduce stress and makes them feel comfortable. When your pet stays with me, they’ll be treated like part of the family. I’ll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, and updates while you’re away so you always know they’re happy and well cared for. Sure he was excited to see us, but, then he laid down next to Kathryn as if he was feeling pretty comfortable at her home! She sent photos and write ups daily and this made me feel so much better about leaving him in her care. It was like he knew the family forever! This was the first time we went away without him in 8 years so I was a bit anxious about leaving. I would have no problems leaving him again if I have another opportunity to do so.
