When I dropped Sky off, she instantly made me feel at ease. You can tell she really knows what she’s doing. Melissa has three dogs of her own, and they were all friendly and welcoming. It didn’t take long for Sky to fit right in and start playing with them. I loved how well they got along; it was a great relief to see my pup so happy and engaged with other dogs. “Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

About: I have been helping care for my family dogs since I was 17. They have all come to us as puppies so I have great experience helping train and care for puppies as well as watching older dogs. Currently I am waiting to start my full-time job in mid-August so I am available anytime of the day (weekday or weekend). Once I start my full-time job I will be available most evenings and every other weekend for dog-care. I live in a townhome that is animal friendly so if I have to provide care for pet(s) at my home there are poop bags located all around the facility for our daily walks, as well as a nice spacious area on the property for your pets to run around if needed.

Once you are a repeat client, I am then more comfortable staying for longer periods of time if needed. Pets will stay on routine by following whatever schedule the owner has set up. If it means getting up early to take a walk, that's what will happen. If I means getting out later in the afternoon for a walk, tha will be fine too. Pet care fits into my routine by me having a very opened schedule. I just moved to Easton, MD, so right now I'm looking to build a new client base here. While watching your pets in your home, I will always make sure I keep a watchful eye over them. I typically like to stay in an area that is open enough where I can see everything, but closed enough where the animal won't be out of site.

So I love having visitors to keep me company and play with while working from home :) Work from home, I'm free to walk the dogs first thing the the morning, around noon and anytime in the evening and spend the whole day with them if needed :) Quiet home, no children, no smoking, no other dogs or cats - just fish n two birds, half way fenced Yard, but very safe. We can walk around the neighborhood, there is a park down the street as well and the back yard.

I have experienced with many animals, and well equipped with knowledge and patience for any animal you have. Meet and greet are not necessarily but greatly preferred. Requirements Since my property is unfenced, I ask that all guests be: • House trained • Crate trained • Recall trained or e-collar trained • Up to date on flea & tick prevention Your dog won’t just be watched they’ll be on their own little vacation. 🐾 I work from home full time, I am extremely flexible and live on 6 acres of land that includes waterfront for your dog to join my dog dude in swimming and playing fetch in the yard. 6 acres are not fenced but I can walk on leash, tether to a lead or allow off leash if they have good recall/remote training. Please provide crates for indoors.

About: I am an animal lover who has taken care of my own as well as friends and families pets for years. My family has cared for dogs, cats, chickens, goats, snakes, frogs, geckos, chinchillas. I am a stay at home mom, so my time is very flexible. I am able to keep pets to their daily schedules and routines. My property is ideal for a doggy vacay, we have a newly fenced in valley, a forest to explore, 2 dogs companions (can keep separate upon request), lots of squirrels to chase, and plenty to love to go around! I am able to provide an attentive home environment that a pet is used to.
