“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

About: My dog passed and I miss her company! So I love having visitors to keep me company and play with while working from home :) Work from home, I'm free to walk the dogs first thing the the morning, around noon and anytime in the evening and spend the whole day with them if needed :) Quiet home, no children, no smoking, no other dogs or cats - just fish n two birds, half way fenced Yard, but very safe. We can walk around the neighborhood, there is a park down the street as well and the back yard.

Once you are a repeat client, I am then more comfortable staying for longer periods of time if needed. Pets will stay on routine by following whatever schedule the owner has set up. If it means getting up early to take a walk, that's what will happen. If I means getting out later in the afternoon for a walk, tha will be fine too. Pet care fits into my routine by me having a very opened schedule. I just moved to Easton, MD, so right now I'm looking to build a new client base here. While watching your pets in your home, I will always make sure I keep a watchful eye over them. I typically like to stay in an area that is open enough where I can see everything, but closed enough where the animal won't be out of site.

About: I’ve been taking care of a wide variety of pets since I was physically able to. I grew up in a household where taking care of animals was part of our everyday lives. My mom has worked in the animal field all her life and I followed in her footsteps until I had my first son 3 years ago and am now a stay at home mom. I started as a receptionist at my local animal hospital, moved on to a technician, and spent 4 years as a kennel supervisor until I moved on to emergency animal care. My home sits on 6 gorgeous acres of waterfront property in Princess Anne, Maryland, giving dogs plenty of space to roam and explore. I work from home, so your dog will be well watched and cared for while you’re away. Requirements Since my property is unfenced, I ask that all guests be: • House trained • Crate trained • Recall trained or e-collar trained • Up to date on flea & tick prevention Your dog won’t just be watched they’ll be on their own little vacation. 🐾 I work from home full time, I am extremely flexible and live on 6 acres of land that includes waterfront for your dog to join my dog dude in swimming and playing fetch in the yard. 6 acres are not fenced but I can walk on leash, tether to a lead or allow off leash if they have good recall/remote training. Please provide crates for indoors.

I live right by the river and love to take the dogs there to play in the water and the beach! I also have a gps collar that I put on every dog when I take them outside of my house for safety.
