“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

“Let me start by saying we’ve never left our dogs overnight let alone with a total stranger. We left for 9 days and have 3 dogs and I was so nervous and had a thousand questions and accommodations I needed fulfilled. Samantha was absolutely incredible. If I could give 100 stars I would. My dogs were so loved and cared for the entire time they were in her care. The pictures I got each day were just filled with joy in each of my dogs faces. If I could afford to send them there for playtime everyday I definitely would!!! Two of my dogs had stomach issues on the 5th day or so and she made them chicken and rice and pumpkin for their meals until they felt better. She trimmed their nails. She washed their bedding. I mean what more could you ask for?! Do not hesitate in sending your animals with her. She is the best of the best! I will be sending my dogs to her house anytime we go out of town… worry free!!”

While watching your pets in your home, I will always make sure I keep a watchful eye over them. I typically like to stay in an area that is open enough where I can see everything, but closed enough where the animal won't be out of site.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. But I’ve cared for my dog Tickle for 12 years now. I trained him as a puppy and care for him in his old age. I can do it all!! Most of these were in my home throughout the years, and around four years ago I began sitting for friends and family. I am very dependable, punctual, and I love to spend time with animals. About: I managed a boarding kennel for 8 years. While there, I administered all types of medications including insulin. I would like the opportunity to love and care for your pet/s. My love is caring for animals. I am available almost anytime. I prefer Monday through Saturday if possible, however, I will work Sundays if needed. I cannot watch animals in my home. I am willing to go to the owner's home to care for their pets. I will feed, play, walk, administer medications, or most other things that are needed. I prefer not to do overnights in the owner's home.

About: I have had several animals in my lifetime, some of my families growing up, and several of my own. I have owned a total of 5 dogs. All of my dogs have been/are rescues. I currently have 3 "puppies" that range in ages between 1-2 years old. I got two of them when they were only 6 months old and I have done all of their training on my own. Animals of all kinds have a very special place in my hear and I work hard so my fur animals can have a better life. Remember, your animals only experience what you allow them to. Let them experience life the way we do, they are only here for so long. I work from home therefore, I am available at all times. I can bring my work to your home if I need to be there for an extended time or I can leave my work at home and come take care of your animals if it will be for a shorter period of time. My dogs experience everything that I experience in my home. Such as roaming freely, having access to food and water at all times, being able to roam in the yard independently, and most importantly, they sleep on a tempur-pedic mattress at night with their humans.

Once you are a repeat client, I am then more comfortable staying for longer periods of time if needed. Pets will stay on routine by following whatever schedule the owner has set up. If it means getting up early to take a walk, that's what will happen. If I means getting out later in the afternoon for a walk, tha will be fine too. Pet care fits into my routine by me having a very opened schedule. I just moved to Easton, MD, so right now I'm looking to build a new client base here. While watching your pets in your home, I will always make sure I keep a watchful eye over them. I typically like to stay in an area that is open enough where I can see everything, but closed enough where the animal won't be out of site.
About: I'm very patient, having owned both cats and dogs throughout my lifetime. Have dealt with both from the puppy/kitten stage through old age/end of life. I am semi-retired and available for a wide range of time that can satisfy any work schedule or vacation plans from clients. About: I loved animals so much I made it my career! I have a degree in veterinary technology and have worked in a hospital for almost 5 years. Other than that, I’ve dealt with pet sitting all throughout my life for friends and family. I would consider myself well versed and educated when it comes to the handling and care of pets. I wouldn’t consider my home somewhere I could keep your fur baby, however I am able to come to your home and fill your pets needs and am open to taking them on field trips! I’m currently working full time, however I am flexible! Even on days that I am working, I still consider myself available. I am willing to check on your pet either before work, on my lunch break, or after work. I am constantly setting aside time to care for my pets whether it be making sure my dog is exercised, the litter boxes are clean, or everyone is fed. I would say exercise and nutrition are a big part of my animals day to day life. You can be sure I’ll keep that in mind for your pets too!

“Let me start by saying we’ve never left our dogs overnight let alone with a total stranger. We left for 9 days and have 3 dogs and I was so nervous and had a thousand questions and accommodations I needed fulfilled. Samantha was absolutely incredible. If I could give 100 stars I would. My dogs were so loved and cared for the entire time they were in her care. The pictures I got each day were just filled with joy in each of my dogs faces. If I could afford to send them there for playtime everyday I definitely would!!! Two of my dogs had stomach issues on the 5th day or so and she made them chicken and rice and pumpkin for their meals until they felt better. She trimmed their nails. She washed their bedding. I mean what more could you ask for?! Do not hesitate in sending your animals with her. She is the best of the best! I will be sending my dogs to her house anytime we go out of town… worry free!!”
About: Hi, my name is Katie! 😊 I worked in a high stress telecommunications job for many years but my true passion is to walk, train, play with, and take excellent care of dogs. I absolutely love dogs and animals! If my husband and I are driving down the road and I see a dog without an owner, he automatically pulls the car over so I can attempt to rescue and find their owner! I am the extreme dog lover who carries an extra set of leashes, water bowl, and treats in our car just in case. I grew up taking care of and training a German Shepherd and Sheltie. I have owned/and or fostered a few Golden Retrievers, Border Collie, Black Lab, and a Rat Terrier/Red Heeler mix. I love high energy dogs, have strong arms to handle pulling dogs, and enjoy leash training and teaching basic commands. I have also taken care of farms and multiple kinds of farm animals. Our current fur baby is a 1 year old Golden Retriever. She truly has a heart of gold! 💛 I also love and am patient with senior dogs. I look forward to meeting you and your precious fur babies. I also have a heart for people in pain who can’t get outside with their dogs. I would love to help! I am available to take care of dogs. I can walk and take care of your fur babies. They can stay with me if they get along with other dogs and children. I always make sure to check water supply especially during the hot months! Sometimes pavement can be too hot for a dog’s paws, so would love to take your fur baby on adventures to local trails, beaches, and/or to dog parks. I understand each dog has different needs and want to treat your dog to the best of my ability, as well as, model how you take care of your own fur baby.

About: I love dogs and up until 3 months ago I had a rescue dog for 8 years until she developed serious medical issuse and I had her euthanized. I miss here and she was spoiled and I will do the same for your dog. I will provide plenty of walks and a nice fenced in backyard where your pet can roam free to do whatever. I allowed my dog to have free roam of my house, and your pet will have the same freedom, and I have a nice porch where your pet can lay outside and enjoy the sights. I am 75 and a retired RN. I live alone so my schedule is very flexible, with the appropriate notification. I am an early riser so your pet will be let out back first thing in the morning, then - 2or 3 walks during the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a fenced in deck above the garage so your pet can be safe in either one of the locations.
