About: As stated, I have an 8 almost 8 year old German Shepherd myself. I’ve trained him myself to be quite obedient off leash, to listen well, and overall he’s very well behaved. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, turtles and more so I know my way around animals. I’m currently enlisted in the United States Navy. I work at the Naval Academy typically from around 9 in the morning to about 3pm most days. I’m also married with two kids and my wife is a stay at home mom who can also look after your furry friends as well. I don’t work weekends so I’m always available during the weekends and can be flexible throughout the week as well. At my home my dog is never crated he is always out and house trained. However, when looking after your fur babies if they need to be crated I have no issue catering to your needs. I don’t have a yard but we have a massive field and live in a circle so long walks are always a must. Whatever the needs of your fur babies, I can take care of those from daily dog walking, spending and playing time with your animals, staying over night at yours/my place, and giving g medicine if needed.

When we picked her up, she looked so happy, relaxed, and content, which told me everything I needed to know about how well she was cared for. About: I've had dogs my whole life and love playing with and training them. I unfortunately lost Axel, my shepherd/husky mix, last year. But I still have Harley (technically my boyfriend's, but we've lived together 3 years now). Harley is a sweet, 4-year-old, 40 lb spayed female mystery mix who loves to play, especially with other dogs. We go for lots of walks each day and we like playing, learning and practicing tricks. She knows the basics and can also spin, place, go around you, and now we're practicing crawl. I think people could learn a lot from dogs if they paid more attention. I've started dog sitting for neighbors the past few years and always enjoy getting to know new dogs. One of my favorite dogs I've cared for is Goose, a 5-year-old male Chesapeake Bay retriever. I also work managing a restaurant in town and do graphic design part-time from home as well. I work managing a restaurant downtown in Annapolis, and also do freelance graphic design work from home. Except for Mondays, my shifts at the restaurant are all p.m. shifts so I'm home and available most days anytime before 3:00. I'm off from the restaurant on Tuesdays and Fridays. I currently have and have always had dogs so I'm very used to going for multiple walks a day. I live in an apartment downtown in Annapolis. We currently do not have a yard; however, we go for a lot of walks and still spend a lot of time outside at parks and just hanging out in front of the apartment to people (and dog) watch. I have a crate, and my dog is crate-trained, so if/when your pup is over, I'm prepared to separate them if needed.

I’m familiar with ensuring the environment is right for your dog. I previously owned a dog with high anxiety and wasn’t friendly with strangers. I understand the importance of making sure your guidelines for your pet are followed. I can give oral medications, follow your training rules, walk large dogs, handle dogs that aren’t friendly with strangers, high anxiety, and have disabilities (ex. Deaf, blind). These dogs are our best friends so I promise to take great care of yours :) If you have any additional questions for me, please don’t hesitate to ask. I am happy to chat or meet prior to booking to ensure I am a good fit for your pup! I believe in open communication to ensure the safety of you, your pet, me and mine. I work fully remote and am able to support daycare and boarding. I usually walk my dog morning, mid day and evening for 30 min to an hour at a time. I’d like to be able to support other people who need assistance. During the week your dog won’t be left alone for more than an hour depending on drop off and pick up time. During the weekend your dog won’t be left longer than 3-4 hours depending. We can always communicate your dogs specific needs to accommodate! I have a fenced yard in our home and a friendly, playful 2 year old male lab (fixed). If your dog is in my home, they do need to be friendly with other dogs. This is to ensure the safety of my dog and if I am boarding or hosting daycare for another dog. During the week I do work full time so there are times where I am in meetings so it is preferred your dog is not destructive, okay without supervision, or is okay in a crate or enclosed room. I communicate my anticipated work schedule and plan for the day with the pet owner.

As of now, I travel to the Eastern Shore once a week to help my folks take care of our beloved Piper (13 y/o grandma Weimaraner) and Rooney (8 year old tabby). You can customize either and both are the same fee. Let me know how you'd like me to spend my visit! (for example: out of a 30 minute visit — 15 minute walk, 15 minute outside play, etc.). The dog walking option does provide you with a map of our route. I'm happy to brush, feed, medicate your pets, water plants, grab the mail, clean the litter box or do simple tasks at no extra charge. I live 2 blocks away from my full time job downtown, which gives me a lot of flexibility. I’m sure to update my calendar regularly and only accept bookings that I know I can fully accommodate. About: All my life, I’ve owned and cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters, so I’m comfortable with pets of different sizes, personalities, energy levels and routines. I have experience in handling reactive dogs of all sizes as well as couch potatos. You can count on me to follow any specific feeding routines and dietary needs, as well as administering medications. Pups, kitties, bunnies, and everything in between are welcome! I'm currently working a flexible part-time schedule which gives me plenty of time to walk your reactive pup, play with your crazy cats, or sit (and crochet) while keeping your pets company! Most pets don't want strangers in their space! I pay close attention to body language, and let them set the pace so each visit feels as safe and comfortable as possible. When staying in your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, waste cleanup, playtime, medications, and as many walks as requested. I keep your home secure, never invite guests over, follow household instructions, and always clean up after myself.

About: I’ve had animals growing up all of my life including goats, horses and dogs from small to large. I have experience in both their care and for understanding their needs through hand on situations and passion. I especially love dogs because of their loyalty, love and tail wags! I’ve had my current dog from a puppy for the last year and a half and have loved seeing her grow! Your dog will always be the only dog I am watching along with mine and you can rest assure that your pup is well taken care of! I only am only available weekends with occasional changes upon request and that’s simply so that I can devote myself to being with your pet for as much of their stay as I can provide. My husband also is in the house will assist in any care needs, as he is passionate about dogs as well :) I typically take my dog on walks 4-5x a day or fetch sessions in the yard and can adjust scheduling as needed. My dog is friendly (very) with dogs of all shapes and sizes, is up to date on all shots and vaccinations, and has no history of violence. We are a pet friendly household that can accommodate crate training or more spoiled pups who enjoy being on the furniture as much as my Ellie does. I heavily respect rules and any needs/boundaries that you may have with caring for your pet all within good reason.

We have rescued animals over the last 24 years, and love them dearly as though they are part of the family. About: I've had pets throughout my whole life, but as I got older and moved out of parents house they become very expensive. So, instead of getting my own pet, I use this site to engage myself with the precious animals. I currently work full-time through the week. I fit pet care time in on the weekends when I have nothing planned. I can totally do potty breaks after work hours. I care for the pets by giving them attention, playing with them(outdoors/indoors), feeding them, taking them outside for potty breaks, and cuddling because animals needs love too.

About: As stated, I have an 8 almost 8 year old German Shepherd myself. I’ve trained him myself to be quite obedient off leash, to listen well, and overall he’s very well behaved. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, turtles and more so I know my way around animals. I’m currently enlisted in the United States Navy. I work at the Naval Academy typically from around 9 in the morning to about 3pm most days. I’m also married with two kids and my wife is a stay at home mom who can also look after your furry friends as well. I don’t work weekends so I’m always available during the weekends and can be flexible throughout the week as well. At my home my dog is never crated he is always out and house trained. However, when looking after your fur babies if they need to be crated I have no issue catering to your needs. I don’t have a yard but we have a massive field and live in a circle so long walks are always a must. Whatever the needs of your fur babies, I can take care of those from daily dog walking, spending and playing time with your animals, staying over night at yours/my place, and giving g medicine if needed.

Candice also has a pup of her own, Rayne, which made Nagi’s stay even more fun. It was clear Nagi had a wonderful time and felt comfortable there. When we picked her up, she looked so happy, relaxed, and content, which told me everything I needed to know about how well she was cared for. If we ever need a sitter again, I would absolutely book with Candice again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter.”
