About: I have raised my own dog since she was ten weeks old, mentored by my father who has raised three litters of puppies throughout his life. I have also done pet-sitting for friends and family for dogs as small as beagle puppies to as large as a Labrador. I am a Graduate student, but I manage to take six- mile walks every morning year-round. As my classes are in the evening, I can fit dog-walking into my schedule in the mornings and early afternoons. I am attentive and responsible for my pets needs, and take pride in ensuring that the animals I care for are happy and healthy. I have a nine-year-old mixed breed dog who enjoys her daily walks and sunbathing on the deck, but does not enjoy the company of other dogs very much.

About: My experience and education ensures the safety of animals of varying temperament levels and backgrounds. I enjoy the process of building trust and confidence with animals through approved training methods/mental enrichment activities and using non verbal cues in a playful and meaningful way. About: I have recently relocated to Frederick, Maryland from California after recently retiring & wanting to be closer to family <3 I have over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits, including senior and special-needs pets and animals requiring medications. I currently have a French Bulldog, four cats, and a rabbit of my own, so caring for multiple animals with different personalities, routines, and needs is part of my everyday life. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed feeding and care instructions, providing walks and enrichment, and recognizing changes in an animal’s behavior or health. I’ve also volunteered with animal shelters in both California and North Carolina. I’m retired with a completely flexible schedule, so pet care can easily be accommodated throughout my day. I’m available mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays for boarding, doggy daycare, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I have a fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and plenty of indoor space, including separate areas when a visiting pet needs their own quiet space away from my animals. I’ll treat your dog like my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I work as a teacher’s assistant at a middle school during the school year. I’m available for pet care in the mornings before work and am home around 4 PM, giving me plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and attention in the afternoons and evenings. My weekends are generally free and give me additional flexibility for longer visits and overnight stays. I’m happy to follow each pet’s usual routine and make sure they receive the care, exercise, and companionship they need.
